מַשָּׂא נִינְוֵה סֵפֶר חֲזֹון נַחוּם הָאֶלְקֹשִׁי׃ |
| 1:2 Jehová es Dios celoso y vengador; Jehová es vengador y lleno de indignación; se venga de sus adversarios, y guarda enojo para sus enemigos. |
God is jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies. |
אֵל קַנֹּוא וְנֹקֵם יְהוָה נֹקֵם יְהוָה וּבַעַל חֵמָה נֹקֵם יְהוָה לְצָרָיו וְנֹוטֵר הוּא לְאֹיְבָיו׃ |
| 1:3 Jehová es tardo para la ira y grande en poder, y no tendrá por inocente al culpable. Jehová marcha en la tempestad y el torbellino, y las nubes son el polvo de sus pies. |
The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet. |
יְהֹוָה אֶרֶךְ אַפַּיִם [וּגְדֹול־ כ] (וּגְדָל־כֹּחַ ק) וְנַקֵּה לֹא יְנַקֶּה יְהוָה בְּסוּפָה וּבִשְׂעָרָה דַּרְכֹּו וְעָנָן אֲבַק רַגְלָיו׃ |
| 1:4 El amenaza al mar, y lo hace secar, y angosta todos los ríos; Basán fue destruido, y el Carmelo, y la flor del Líbano fue destruida. |
He rebuketh the sea, and maketh it dry, and drieth up all the rivers: Bashan languisheth, and Carmel, and the flower of Lebanon languisheth. |
גֹּועֵר בַּיָּם וַיַּבְּשֵׁהוּ וְכָל־הַנְּהָרֹות הֶחֱרִיב אֻמְלַל בָּשָׁן וְכַרְמֶל וּפֶרַח לְבָנֹון אֻמְלָל׃ |
| 1:5 Los montes tiemblan delante de él, y los collados se derriten; la tierra se conmueve a su presencia, y el mundo, y todos los que en él habitan. |
The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein. |
הָרִים רָעֲשׁוּ מִמֶּנּוּ וְהַגְּבָעֹות הִתְמֹגָגוּ וַתִּשָּׂא הָאָרֶץ מִפָּנָיו וְתֵבֵל וְכָל־יֹשְׁבֵי בָהּ׃ |
| 1:6 ¿Quién permanecerá delante de su ira? ¿y quién quedará en pie en el ardor de su enojo? Su ira se derrama como fuego, y por él se hienden las peñas. |
Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him. |
לִפְנֵי זַעְמֹו מִי יַעֲמֹוד וּמִי יָקוּם בַּחֲרֹון אַפֹּו חֲמָתֹו נִתְּכָה כָאֵשׁ וְהַצֻּרִים נִתְּצוּ מִמֶּנּוּ׃ |
| 1:7 Jehová es bueno, fortaleza en el día de la angustia; y conoce a los que en él confían. |
The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him. |
טֹוב יְהוָה לְמָעֹוז בְּיֹום צָרָה וְיֹדֵעַ חֹסֵי בֹו׃ |
| 1:8 Mas con inundación impetuosa consumirá a sus adversarios, y tinieblas perseguirán a sus enemigos. |
But with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end of the place thereof, and darkness shall pursue his enemies. |
וּבְשֶׁטֶף עֹבֵר כָּלָה יַעֲשֶׂה מְקֹומָהּ וְאֹיְבָיו יְרַדֶּף־חֹשֶׁךְ ׃ |
| 1:9 ¿Qué pensáis contra Jehová? El hará consumación; no tomará venganza dos veces de sus enemigos. |
What do ye imagine against the LORD? he will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time. |
מַה־תְּחַשְּׁבוּן אֶל־יְהוָה כָּלָה הוּא עֹשֶׂה לֹא־תָקוּם פַּעֲמַיִם צָרָה׃ |
| 1:10 Aunque sean como espinos entretejidos, y estén empapados en su embriaguez, serán consumidos como hojarasca completamente seca. |
For while they be folden together as thorns, and while they are drunken as drunkards, they shall be devoured as stubble fully dry. |
כִּי עַד־סִירִים סְבֻכִים וּכְסָבְאָם סְבוּאִים אֻכְּלוּ כְּקַשׁ יָבֵשׁ מָלֵא׃ |
| 1:11 De ti salió el que imaginó mal contra Jehová, un consejero perverso. |
There is one come out of thee, that imagineth evil against the LORD, a wicked counseller. |
מִמֵּךְ יָצָא חֹשֵׁב עַל־יְהוָה רָעָה יֹעֵץ בְּלִיָּעַל׃ ס |
| 1:12 Así ha dicho Jehová: Aunque reposo tengan, y sean tantos, aun así serán talados, y él pasará. Bastante te he afligido; no te afligiré ya más. |
Thus saith the LORD; Though they be quiet, and likewise many, yet thus shall they be cut down, when he shall pass through. Though I have afflicted thee, I will afflict thee no more. |
כֹּה אָמַר יְהוָה אִם־שְׁלֵמִים וְכֵן רַבִּים וְכֵן נָגֹזּוּ וְעָבָר וְעִנִּתִךְ לֹא אֲעַנֵּךְ עֹוד׃ |
| 1:13 Porque ahora quebraré su yugo de sobre ti, y romperé tus coyundas. |
For now will I break his yoke from off thee, and will burst thy bonds in sunder. |
וְעַתָּה אֶשְׁבֹּר מֹטֵהוּ מֵעָלָיִךְ וּמֹוסְרֹתַיִךְ אֲנַתֵּק׃ |
| 1:14 Mas acerca de ti mandará Jehová, que no quede ni memoria de tu nombre; de la casa de tu dios destruiré escultura y estatua de fundición; allí pondré tu sepulcro, porque fuiste vil. |
And the LORD hath given a commandment concerning thee, that no more of thy name be sown: out of the house of thy gods will I cut off the graven image and the molten image: I will make thy grave; for thou art vile. |
וְצִוָּה עָלֶיךָ יְהוָה לֹא־יִזָּרַע מִשִּׁמְךָ עֹוד מִבֵּית אֱלֹהֶיךָ אַכְרִית פֶּסֶל וּמַסֵּכָה אָשִׂים קִבְרֶךָ כִּי קַלֹּותָ׃ פ |
| 1:15 He aquí sobre los montes los pies del que trae buenas nuevas, del que anuncia la paz. Celebra, oh Judá, tus fiestas, cumple tus votos; porque nunca más volverá a pasar por ti el malvado; pereció del todo. |
Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace! O Judah, keep thy solemn feasts, perform thy vows: for the wicked shall no more pass through thee; he is utterly cut off. |
הִנֵּה עַל־הֶהָרִים רַגְלֵי מְבַשֵּׂר מַשְׁמִיעַ שָׁלֹום חָגִּי יְהוּדָה חַגַּיִךְ שַׁלְּמִי נְדָרָיִךְ כִּי לֹא יֹוסִיף עֹוד [לַעֲבֹור־ כ] (לַעֲבָר־בָּךְ ק) בְּלִיַּעַל כֻּלֹּה נִכְרָת׃ |
| 2:1 Subió destruidor contra ti; guarda la fortaleza, vigila el camino, cíñete los lomos, refuerza mucho tu poder. |
He that dasheth in pieces is come up before thy face: keep the munition, watch the way, make thy loins strong, fortify thy power mightily. |
עָלָה מֵפִיץ עַל־פָּנַיִךְ נָצֹור מְצֻרָה צַפֵּה־דֶרֶךְ חַזֵּק מָתְנַיִם אַמֵּץ כֹּחַ מְאֹד׃ |
| 2:2 Porque Jehová restaurará la gloria de Jacob como la gloria de Israel; porque saqueadores los saquearon, y estropearon sus mugrones. |
For the LORD hath turned away the excellency of Jacob, as the excellency of Israel: for the emptiers have emptied them out, and marred their vine branches. |
כִּי שָׁב יְהוָה אֶת־גְּאֹון יַעֲקֹב כִּגְאֹון יִשְׂרָאֵל כִּי בְקָקוּם בֹּקְקִים וּזְמֹרֵיהֶם שִׁחֵתוּ׃ |
| 2:3 El escudo de sus valientes estará enrojecido, los varones de su ejército vestidos de grana; el carro como fuego de antorchas; el día que se prepare, temblarán las hayas. |
The shield of his mighty men is made red, the valiant men are in scarlet: the chariots shall be with flaming torches in the day of his preparation, and the fir trees shall be terribly shaken. |
מָגֵן גִּבֹּרֵיהוּ מְאָדָּם אַנְשֵׁי־חַיִל מְתֻלָּעִים בְּאֵשׁ־פְּלָדֹות הָרֶכֶב בְּיֹום הֲכִינֹו וְהַבְּרֹשִׁים הָרְעָלוּ׃ |
| 2:4 Los carros se precipitarán a las plazas, con estruendo rodarán por las calles; su aspecto será como antorchas encendidas, correrán como relámpagos. |
The chariots shall rage in the streets, they shall justle one against another in the broad ways: they shall seem like torches, they shall run like the lightnings. |
בַּחוּצֹות יִתְהֹולְלוּ הָרֶכֶב יִשְׁתַּקְשְׁקוּן בָּרְחֹבֹות מַרְאֵיהֶן כַּלַּפִּידִם כַּבְּרָקִים יְרֹוצֵצוּ׃ |
| 2:5 Se acordará él de sus valientes; se atropellarán en su marcha; se apresurarán a su muro, y la defensa se preparará. |
He shall recount his worthies: they shall stumble in their walk; they shall make haste to the wall thereof, and the defence shall be prepared. |
יִזְכֹּר אַדִּירָיו יִכָּשְׁלוּ [בַהֲלִכֹותָם כ] (בַּהֲלִיכָתָם ק) יְמַהֲרוּ חֹומָתָהּ וְהֻכַן הַסֹּכֵךְ׃ |
| 2:6 Las puertas de los ríos se abrirán, y el palacio será destruido. |
The gates of the rivers shall be opened, and the palace shall be dissolved. |
שַׁעֲרֵי הַנְּהָרֹות נִפְתָּחוּ וְהַהֵיכָל נָמֹוג׃ |
| 2:7 Y la reina será cautiva; mandarán que suba, y sus criadas la llevarán gimiendo como palomas, golpeándose sus pechos. |
And Huzzab shall be led away captive, she shall be brought up, and her maids shall lead her as with the voice of doves, tabering upon their breasts. |
וְהֻצַּב גֻּלְּתָה הֹעֲלָתָה וְאַמְהֹתֶיהָ מְנַהֲגֹות כְּקֹול יֹונִים מְתֹפְפֹת עַל־לִבְבֵהֶן׃ |
| 2:8 Fue Nínive de tiempo antiguo como estanque de aguas; pero ellos huyen. Dicen: ¡Deteneos, deteneos!; pero ninguno mira. |
But Nineveh is of old like a pool of water: yet they shall flee away. Stand, stand, shall they cry; but none shall look back. |
וְנִינְוֵה כִבְרֵכַת־מַיִם מִימֵי הִיא וְהֵמָּה נָסִים עִמְדוּ עֲמֹדוּ וְאֵין מַפְנֶה׃ |
| 2:9 Saquead plata, saquead oro; no hay fin de las riquezas y suntuosidad de toda clase de efectos codiciables. |
Take ye the spoil of silver, take the spoil of gold: for there is none end of the store and glory out of all the pleasant furniture. |
בֹּזּוּ כֶסֶף בֹּזּוּ זָהָב וְאֵין קֵצֶה לַתְּכוּנָה כָּבֹד מִכֹּל כְּלִי חֶמְדָּה׃ |
| 2:10 Vacía, agotada y desolada está, y el corazón desfallecido; temblor de rodillas, dolor en las entrañas, rostros demudados. |
She is empty, and void, and waste: and the heart melteth, and the knees smite together, and much pain is in all loins, and the faces of them all gather blackness. |
בּוּקָה וּמְבוּקָה וּמְבֻלָּקָה וְלֵב נָמֵס וּפִק בִּרְכַּיִם וְחַלְחָלָה בְּכָל־מָתְנַיִם וּפְנֵי כֻלָּם קִבְּצוּ פָארוּר׃ |
| 2:11 ¿Qué es de la guarida de los leones, y de la majada de los cachorros de los leones, donde se recogía el león y la leona, y los cachorros del león, y no había quien los espantase? |
Where is the dwelling of the lions, and the feedingplace of the young lions, where the lion, even the old lion, walked, and the lion's whelp, and none made them afraid? |
אַיֵּה מְעֹון אֲרָיֹות וּמִרְעֶה הוּא לַכְּפִרִים אֲשֶׁר הָלַךְ אַרְיֵה לָבִיא שָׁם גּוּר אַרְיֵה וְאֵין מַחֲרִיד׃ |
| 2:12 El león arrebataba en abundancia para sus cachorros, y ahogaba para sus leonas, y llenaba de presa sus cavernas, y de robo sus guaridas. |
The lion did tear in pieces enough for his whelps, and strangled for his lionesses, and filled his holes with prey, and his dens with ravin. |
אַרְיֵה טֹרֵף בְּדֵי גֹרֹותָיו וּמְחַנֵּק לְלִבְאֹתָיו וַיְמַלֵּא־טֶרֶף חֹרָיו וּמְעֹנֹתָיו טְרֵפָה׃ |
| 2:13 Heme aquí contra ti, dice Jehová de los ejércitos. Encenderé y reduciré a humo tus carros, y espada devorará tus leoncillos; y cortaré de la tierra tu robo, y nunca más se oirá la voz de tus mensajeros. |
Behold, I am against thee, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will burn her chariots in the smoke, and the sword shall devour thy young lions: and I will cut off thy prey from the earth, and the voice of thy messengers shall no more be heard. |
הִנְנִי אֵלַיִךְ נְאֻם יְהוָה צְבָאֹות וְהִבְעַרְתִּי בֶעָשָׁן רִכְבָּהּ וּכְפִירַיִךְ תֹּאכַל חָרֶב וְהִכְרַתִּי מֵאֶרֶץ טַרְפֵּךְ וְלֹא־יִשָּׁמַע עֹוד קֹול מַלְאָכֵכֵה׃ ס |
| 3:1 ¡Ay de ti, ciudad sanguinaria, toda llena de mentira y de rapiña, sin apartarte del pillaje! |
Woe to the bloody city! it is all full of lies and robbery; the prey departeth not; |
הֹוי עִיר דָּמִים כֻּלָּהּ כַּחַשׁ פֶּרֶק מְלֵאָה לֹא יָמִישׁ טָרֶף׃ |
| 3:2 Chasquido de látigo, y fragor de ruedas, caballo atropellador, y carro que salta; |
The noise of a whip, and the noise of the rattling of the wheels, and of the pransing horses, and of the jumping chariots. |
קֹול שֹׁוט וְקֹול רַעַשׁ אֹופָן וְסוּס דֹּהֵר וּמֶרְכָּבָה מְרַקֵּדָה׃ |
| 3:3 jinete enhiesto, y resplandor de espada, y resplandor de lanza; y multitud de muertos, y multitud de cadáveres; cadáveres sin fin, y en sus cadáveres tropezarán, |
The horseman lifteth up both the bright sword and the glittering spear: and there is a multitude of slain, and a great number of carcases; and there is none end of their corpses; they stumble upon their corpses: |
פָּרָשׁ מַעֲלֶה וְלַהַב חֶרֶב וּבְרַק חֲנִית וְרֹב חָלָל וְכֹבֶד פָּגֶר וְאֵין קֵצֶה לַגְּוִיָּה [יִכְשְׁלוּ כ] (וְכָשְׁלוּ ק) בִּגְוִיָּתָם׃ |
| 3:4 a causa de la multitud de las fornicaciones de la ramera de hermosa gracia, maestra en hechizos, que seduce a las naciones con sus fornicaciones, y a los pueblos con sus hechizos. |
Because of the multitude of the whoredoms of the wellfavoured harlot, the mistress of witchcrafts, that selleth nations through her whoredoms, and families through her witchcrafts. |
מֵרֹב זְנוּנֵי זֹונָה טֹובַת חֵן בַּעֲלַת כְּשָׁפִים הַמֹּכֶרֶת גֹּויִם בִּזְנוּנֶיהָ וּמִשְׁפָּחֹות בִּכְשָׁפֶיהָ׃ |
| 3:5 Heme aquí contra ti, dice Jehová de los ejércitos, y descubriré tus faldas en tu rostro, y mostraré a las naciones tu desnudez, y a los reinos tu vergüenza. |
Behold, I am against thee, saith the LORD of hosts; and I will discover thy skirts upon thy face, and I will shew the nations thy nakedness, and the kingdoms thy shame. |
הִנְנִי אֵלַיִךְ נְאֻם יְהוָה צְבָאֹות וְגִלֵּיתִי שׁוּלַיִךְ עַל־פָּנָיִךְ וְהַרְאֵיתִי גֹויִם מַעְרֵךְ וּמַמְלָכֹות קְלֹונֵךְ׃ |
| 3:6 Y echaré sobre ti inmundicias, y te afrentaré, y te pondré como estiércol. |
And I will cast abominable filth upon thee, and make thee vile, and will set thee as a gazingstock. |
וְהִשְׁלַכְתִּי עָלַיִךְ שִׁקֻּצִים וְנִבַּלְתִּיךְ וְשַׂמְתִּיךְ כְּרֹאִי׃ |
| 3:7 Todos los que te vieren se apartarán de ti, y dirán: Nínive es asolada; ¿quién se compadecerá de ella? ¿Dónde te buscaré consoladores? |
And it shall come to pass, that all they that look upon thee shall flee from thee, and say, Nineveh is laid waste: who will bemoan her? whence shall I seek comforters for thee? |
וְהָיָה כָל־רֹאַיִךְ יִדֹּוד מִמֵּךְ וְאָמַר שָׁדְּדָה נִינְוֵה מִי יָנוּד לָהּ מֵאַיִן אֲבַקֵּשׁ מְנַחֲמִים לָךְ׃ |
| 3:8 ¿Eres tú mejor que Tebas, que estaba asentada junto al Nilo, rodeada de aguas, cuyo baluarte era el mar, y aguas por muro? |
Art thou better than populous No, that was situate among the rivers, that had the waters round about it, whose rampart was the sea, and her wall was from the sea? |
הֲתֵיטְבִי מִנֹּא אָמֹון הַיֹּשְׁבָה בַּיְאֹרִים מַיִם סָבִיב לָהּ אֲשֶׁר־חֵיל יָם מִיָּם חֹומָתָהּ׃ |
| 3:9 Etiopía era su fortaleza, también Egipto, y eso sin límite; Fut y Libia fueron sus ayudadores. |
Ethiopia and Egypt were her strength, and it was infinite; Put and Lubim were thy helpers. |
כּוּשׁ עָצְמָה וּמִצְרַיִם וְאֵין קֵצֶה פּוּט וְלוּבִים הָיוּ בְּעֶזְרָתֵךְ׃ |
| 3:10 Sin embargo ella fue llevada en cautiverio; también sus pequeños fueron estrellados en las encrucijadas de todas las calles, y sobre sus varones echaron suertes, y todos sus grandes fueron aprisionados con grillos. |
Yet was she carried away, she went into captivity: her young children also were dashed in pieces at the top of all the streets: and they cast lots for her honourable men, and all her great men were bound in chains. |
גַּם־הִיא לַגֹּלָה הָלְכָה בַשֶּׁבִי גַּם עֹלָלֶיהָ יְרֻטְּשׁוּ בְּרֹאשׁ כָּל־חוּצֹות וְעַל־נִכְבַּדֶּיהָ יַדּוּ גֹורָל וְכָל־גְּדֹולֶיהָ רֻתְּקוּ בַזִּקִּים׃ |
| 3:11 Tú también serás embriagada, y serás encerrada; tú también buscarás refugio a causa del enemigo. |
Thou also shalt be drunken: thou shalt be hid, thou also shalt seek strength because of the enemy. |
גַּם־אַתְּ תִּשְׁכְּרִי תְּהִי נַעֲלָמָה גַּם־אַתְּ תְּבַקְשִׁי מָעֹוז מֵאֹויֵב׃ |
| 3:12 Todas tus fortalezas serán cual higueras con brevas, que si las sacuden, caen en la boca del que las ha de comer. |
All thy strong holds shall be like fig trees with the firstripe figs: if they be shaken, they shall even fall into the mouth of the eater. |
כָּל־מִבְצָרַיִךְ תְּאֵנִים עִם־בִּכּוּרִים אִם־יִנֹּועוּ וְנָפְלוּ עַל־פִּי אֹוכֵל׃ |
| 3:13 He aquí, tu pueblo será como mujeres en medio de ti; las puertas de tu tierra se abrirán de par en par a tus enemigos; fuego consumirá tus cerrojos. |
Behold, thy people in the midst of thee are women: the gates of thy land shall be set wide open unto thine enemies: the fire shall devour thy bars. |
הִנֵּה עַמֵּךְ נָשִׁים בְּקִרְבֵּךְ לְאֹיְבַיִךְ פָּתֹוחַ נִפְתְּחוּ שַׁעֲרֵי אַרְצֵךְ אָכְלָה אֵשׁ בְּרִיחָיִך׃ |
| 3:14 Provéete de agua para el asedio, refuerza tus fortalezas; entra en el lodo, pisa el barro, refuerza el horno. |
Draw thee waters for the siege, fortify thy strong holds: go into clay, and tread the morter, make strong the brickkiln. |
מֵי מָצֹור שַׁאֲבִי־לָךְ חַזְּקִי מִבְצָרָיִךְ בֹּאִי בַטִּיט וְרִמְסִי בַחֹמֶר הַחֲזִיקִי מַלְבֵּן׃ |
| 3:15 Allí te consumirá el fuego, te talará la espada, te devorará como pulgón; multiplícate como langosta, multiplícate como el langostón. |
There shall the fire devour thee; the sword shall cut thee off, it shall eat thee up like the cankerworm: make thyself many as the cankerworm, make thyself many as the locusts. |
ם תֹּאכְלֵךְ אֵשׁ תַּכְרִיתֵךְ חֶרֶב תֹּאכְלֵךְ כַּיָּלֶק הִתְכַּבֵּד כַּיֶּלֶק הִתְכַּבְּדִי כָּאַרְבֶּה׃ |
| 3:16 Multiplicaste tus mercaderes más que las estrellas del cielo; la langosta hizo presa, y voló. |
Thou hast multiplied thy merchants above the stars of heaven: the cankerworm spoileth, and flieth away. |
הִרְבֵּית רֹכְלַיִךְ מִכֹּוכְבֵי הַשָּׁמָיִם יֶלֶק פָּשַׁט וַיָּעֹף׃ |
| 3:17 Tus príncipes serán como langostas, y tus grandes como nubes de langostas que se sientan en vallados en día de frío; salido el sol se van, y no se conoce el lugar donde están. |
Thy crowned are as the locusts, and thy captains as the great grasshoppers, which camp in the hedges in the cold day, but when the sun ariseth they flee away, and their place is not known where they are. |
מִנְּזָרַיִךְ כָּאַרְבֶּה וְטַפְסְרַיִךְ כְּגֹוב גֹּבָי הַחֹונִים בַּגְּדֵרֹות בְּיֹום קָרָה שֶׁמֶשׁ זָרְחָה וְנֹודַד וְלֹא־נֹודַע מְקֹומֹו אַיָּם׃ |
| 3:18 Durmieron tus pastores, oh rey de Asiria, reposaron tus valientes; tu pueblo se derramó por los montes, y no hay quien lo junte. |
Thy shepherds slumber, O king of Assyria: thy nobles shall dwell in the dust: thy people is scattered upon the mountains, and no man gathereth them. |
נָמוּ רֹעֶיךָ מֶלֶךְ אַשּׁוּר יִשְׁכְּנוּ אַדִּירֶיךָ נָפֹשׁוּ עַמְּךָ עַל־הֶהָרִים וְאֵין מְקַבֵּץ׃ |
