| 1:1 Las palabras de Amós, que fue uno de los pastores de Tecoa, que profetizó acerca de Israel en días de Uzías rey de Judá y en días de Jeroboam hijo de Joás, rey de Israel, dos años antes del terremoto. |
The words of Amos, who was among the herdmen of Tekoa, which he saw concerning Israel in the days of Uzziah king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash king of Israel, two years before the earthquake. |
דִּבְרֵי עָמֹוס אֲשֶׁר־הָיָה בַנֹּקְדִים מִתְּקֹועַ אֲשֶׁר חָזָה עַל־יִשְׂרָאֵל בִּימֵי עֻזִּיָּה מֶלֶךְ־יְהוּדָה וּבִימֵי יָרָבְעָם בֶּן־יֹואָשׁ מֶלֶךְ יִשְׂרָאֵל שְׁנָתַיִם לִפְנֵי הָרָעַשׁ׃ |
| 1:2 Dijo: Jehová rugirá desde Sion, y dará su voz desde Jerusalén, y los campos de los pastores se enlutarán, y se secará la cumbre del Carmelo. |
And he said, The LORD will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the habitations of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel shall wither. |
וַיֹּאמַר יְהוָה מִצִּיֹּון יִשְׁאָג וּמִירוּשָׁלִַם יִתֵּן קֹולֹו וְאָבְלוּ נְאֹות הָרֹעִים וְיָבֵשׁ רֹאשׁ הַכַּרְמֶל׃ פ |
| 1:3 Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Damasco, y por el cuarto, no revocaré su castigo; porque trillaron a Galaad con trillos de hierro. |
Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Damascus, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron: |
כֹּה אָמַר יְהוָה עַל־שְׁלֹשָׁה פִּשְׁעֵי דַמֶּשֶׂק וְעַל־אַרְבָּעָה לֹא אֲשִׁיבֶנּוּ עַל־דּוּשָׁם בַּחֲרֻצֹות הַבַּרְזֶל אֶת־הַגִּלְעָד׃ |
| 1:4 Prenderé fuego en la casa de Hazael, y consumirá los palacios de Ben-adad. |
But I will send a fire into the house of Hazael, which shall devour the palaces of Benhadad. |
וְשִׁלַּחְתִּי אֵשׁ בְּבֵית חֲזָאֵל וְאָכְלָה אַרְמְנֹות בֶּן־הֲדָד׃ |
| 1:5 Y quebraré los cerrojos de Damasco, y destruiré a los moradores del valle de Avén, y los gobernadores de Bet-edén; y el pueblo de Siria será transportado a Kir, dice Jehová. |
I will break also the bar of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitant from the plain of Aven, and him that holdeth the sceptre from the house of Eden: and the people of Syria shall go into captivity unto Kir, saith the LORD. |
וְשָׁבַרְתִּי בְּרִיחַ דַּמֶּשֶׂק וְהִכְרַתִּי יֹושֵׁב מִבִּקְעַת־אָוֶן וְתֹומֵךְ שֵׁבֶט מִבֵּית עֶדֶן וְגָלוּ עַם־אֲרָם קִירָה אָמַר יְהוָה׃ פ |
| 1:6 Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Gaza, y por el cuarto, no revocaré su castigo; porque llevó cautivo a todo un pueblo para entregarlo a Edom. |
Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Gaza, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they carried away captive the whole captivity, to deliver them up to Edom: |
כֹּה אָמַר יְהוָה עַל־שְׁלֹשָׁה פִּשְׁעֵי עַזָּה וְעַל־אַרְבָּעָה לֹא אֲשִׁיבֶנּוּ עַל־הַגְלֹותָם גָּלוּת שְׁלֵמָה לְהַסְגִּיר לֶאֱדֹום׃ |
| 1:7 Prenderé fuego en el muro de Gaza, y consumirá sus palacios. |
But I will send a fire on the wall of Gaza, which shall devour the palaces thereof: |
וְשִׁלַּחְתִּי אֵשׁ בְּחֹומַת עַזָּה וְאָכְלָה אַרְמְנֹתֶיהָ׃ |
| 1:8 Y destruiré a los moradores de Asdod, y a los gobernadores de Ascalón; y volveré mi mano contra Ecrón, y el resto de los filisteos perecerá, ha dicho Jehová el Señor. |
And I will cut off the inhabitant from Ashdod, and him that holdeth the sceptre from Ashkelon, and I will turn mine hand against Ekron: and the remnant of the Philistines shall perish, saith the Lord GOD. |
וְהִכְרַתִּי יֹושֵׁב מֵאַשְׁדֹּוד וְתֹומֵךְ שֵׁבֶט מֵאַשְׁקְלֹון וַהֲשִׁיבֹותִי יָדִי עַל־עֶקְרֹון וְאָבְדוּ שְׁאֵרִית פְּלִשְׁתִּים אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה׃ פ |
| 1:9 Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Tiro, y por el cuarto, no revocaré su castigo; porque entregaron a todo un pueblo cautivo a Edom, y no se acordaron del pacto de hermanos. |
Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Tyrus, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they delivered up the whole captivity to Edom, and remembered not the brotherly covenant: |
כֹּה אָמַר יְהוָה עַל־שְׁלֹשָׁה פִּשְׁעֵי־צֹר וְעַל־אַרְבָּעָה לֹא אֲשִׁיבֶנּוּ עַל־הַסְגִּירָם גָּלוּת שְׁלֵמָה לֶאֱדֹום וְלֹא זָכְרוּ בְּרִית אַחִים׃ |
| 1:10 Prenderé fuego en el muro de Tiro, y consumirá sus palacios. |
But I will send a fire on the wall of Tyrus, which shall devour the palaces thereof. |
וְשִׁלַּחְתִּי אֵשׁ בְּחֹומַת צֹר וְאָכְלָה אַרְמְנֹתֶיהָ׃ פ |
| 1:11 Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Edom, y por el cuarto, no revocaré su castigo; porque persiguió a espada a su hermano, y violó todo afecto natural; y en su furor le ha robado siempre, y perpetuamente ha guardado el rencor. |
Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Edom, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he did pursue his brother with the sword, and did cast off all pity, and his anger did tear perpetually, and he kept his wrath for ever: |
כֹּה אָמַר יְהוָה עַל־שְׁלֹשָׁה פִּשְׁעֵי אֱדֹום וְעַל־אַרְבָּעָה לֹא אֲשִׁיבֶנּוּ עַל־רָדְפֹו בַחֶרֶב אָחִיו וְשִׁחֵת רַחֲמָיו וַיִּטְרֹף לָעַד אַפֹּו וְעֶבְרָתֹו שְׁמָרָה נֶצַח׃ |
| 1:12 Prenderé fuego en Temán, y consumirá los palacios de Bosra. |
But I will send a fire upon Teman, which shall devour the palaces of Bozrah. |
וְשִׁלַּחְתִּי אֵשׁ בְּתֵימָן וְאָכְלָה אַרְמְנֹות בָּצְרָה׃ פ |
| 1:13 Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de los hijos de Amón, y por el cuarto, no revocaré su castigo; porque para ensanchar sus tierras abrieron a las mujeres de Galaad que estaban encintas. |
Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of the children of Ammon, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have ripped up the women with child of Gilead, that they might enlarge their border: |
כֹּה אָמַר יְהוָה עַל־שְׁלֹשָׁה פִּשְׁעֵי בְנֵי־עַמֹּון וְעַל־אַרְבָּעָה לֹא אֲשִׁיבֶנּוּ עַל־בִּקְעָם הָרֹות הַגִּלְעָד לְמַעַן הַרְחִיב אֶת־גְּבוּלָם׃ |
| 1:14 Encenderé fuego en el muro de Rabá, y consumirá sus palacios con estruendo en el día de la batalla, con tempestad en día tempestuoso; |
But I will kindle a fire in the wall of Rabbah, and it shall devour the palaces thereof, with shouting in the day of battle, with a tempest in the day of the whirlwind: |
וְהִצַּתִּי אֵשׁ בְּחֹומַת רַבָּה וְאָכְלָה אַרְמְנֹותֶיהָ בִּתְרוּעָה בְּיֹום מִלְחָמָה בְּסַעַר בְּיֹום סוּפָה׃ |
| 1:15 y su rey irá en cautiverio, él y todos sus príncipes, dice Jehová. |
And their king shall go into captivity, he and his princes together, saith the LORD. |
וְהָלַךְ מַלְכָּם בַּגֹּולָה הוּא וְשָׂרָיו יַחְדָּו אָמַר יְהוָה׃ פ |
| 2:1 Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Moab, y por el cuarto, no revocaré su castigo; porque quemó los huesos del rey de Edom hasta calcinarlos. |
Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Moab, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime: |
כֹּה אָמַר יְהוָה עַל־שְׁלֹשָׁה פִּשְׁעֵי מֹואָב וְעַל־אַרְבָּעָה לֹא אֲשִׁיבֶנּוּ עַל־שָׂרְפֹו עַצְמֹות מֶלֶךְ־אֱדֹום לַשִּׂיד׃ |
| 2:2 Prenderé fuego en Moab, y consumirá los palacios de Queriot; y morirá Moab con tumulto, con estrépito y sonido de trompeta. |
But I will send a fire upon Moab, and it shall devour the palaces of Kerioth: and Moab shall die with tumult, with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet: |
וְשִׁלַּחְתִּי־אֵשׁ בְּמֹואָב וְאָכְלָה אַרְמְנֹות הַקְּרִיֹּות וּמֵת בְּשָׁאֹון מֹואָב בִּתְרוּעָה בְּקֹול שֹׁופָר׃ |
| 2:3 Y quitaré el juez de en medio de él, y mataré con él a todos sus príncipes, dice Jehová. |
And I will cut off the judge from the midst thereof, and will slay all the princes thereof with him, saith the LORD. |
וְהִכְרַתִּי שֹׁופֵט מִקִּרְבָּהּ וְכָל־שָׂרֶיהָ אֶהֱרֹוג עִמֹּו אָמַר יְהוָה׃ פ |
| 2:4 Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Judá, y por el cuarto, no revocaré su castigo; porque menospreciaron la ley de Jehová, y no guardaron sus ordenanzas, y les hicieron errar sus mentiras, en pos de las cuales anduvieron sus padres. |
Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Judah, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have despised the law of the LORD, and have not kept his commandments, and their lies caused them to err, after the which their fathers have walked: |
כֹּה אָמַר יְהוָה עַל־שְׁלֹשָׁה פִּשְׁעֵי יְהוּדָה וְעַל־אַרְבָּעָה לֹא אֲשִׁיבֶנּוּ עַל־מָאֳסָם אֶת־תֹּורַת יְהוָה וְחֻקָּיו לֹא שָׁמָרוּ וַיַּתְעוּם כִּזְבֵיהֶם אֲשֶׁר־הָלְכוּ אֲבֹותָם אַחֲרֵיהֶם׃ |
| 2:5 Prenderé, por tanto, fuego en Judá, el cual consumirá los palacios de Jerusalén. |
But I will send a fire upon Judah, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem. |
וְשִׁלַּחְתִּי אֵשׁ בִּיהוּדָה וְאָכְלָה אַרְמְנֹות יְרוּשָׁלִָם׃ פ |
| 2:6 Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Israel, y por el cuarto, no revocaré su castigo; porque vendieron por dinero al justo, y al pobre por un par de zapatos. |
Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Israel, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they sold the righteous for silver, and the poor for a pair of shoes; |
כֹּה אָמַר יְהוָה עַל־שְׁלֹשָׁה פִּשְׁעֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְעַל־אַרְבָּעָה לֹא אֲשִׁיבֶנּוּ עַל־מִכְרָם בַּכֶּסֶף צַדִּיק וְאֶבְיֹון בַּעֲבוּר נַעֲלָיִם׃ |
| 2:7 Pisotean en el polvo de la tierra las cabezas de los desvalidos, y tuercen el camino de los humildes; y el hijo y su padre se llegan a la misma joven, profanando mi santo nombre. |
That pant after the dust of the earth on the head of the poor, and turn aside the way of the meek: and a man and his father will go in unto the same maid, to profane my holy name: |
הַשֹּׁאֲפִים עַל־עֲפַר־אֶרֶץ בְּרֹאשׁ דַּלִּים וְדֶרֶךְ עֲנָוִים יַטּוּ וְאִישׁ וְאָבִיו יֵלְכוּ אֶל־הַנַּעֲרָה לְמַעַן חַלֵּל אֶת־שֵׁם קָדְשִׁי׃ |
| 2:8 Sobre las ropas empeñadas se acuestan junto a cualquier altar; y el vino de los multados beben en la casa de sus dioses. |
And they lay themselves down upon clothes laid to pledge by every altar, and they drink the wine of the condemned in the house of their god. |
וְעַל־בְּגָדִים חֲבֻלִים יַטּוּ אֵצֶל כָּל־מִזְבֵּחַ וְיֵין עֲנוּשִׁים יִשְׁתּוּ בֵּית אֱלֹהֵיהֶם׃ |
| 2:9 Yo destruí delante de ellos al amorreo, cuya altura era como la altura de los cedros, y fuerte como una encina; y destruí su fruto arriba y sus raíces abajo. |
Yet destroyed I the Amorite before them, whose height was like the height of the cedars, and he was strong as the oaks; yet I destroyed his fruit from above, and his roots from beneath. |
וְאָנֹכִי הִשְׁמַדְתִּי אֶת־הָאֱמֹרִי מִפְּנֵיהֶם אֲשֶׁר כְּגֹבַהּ אֲרָזִים גָּבְהֹו וְחָסֹן הוּא כָּאַלֹּונִים וָאַשְׁמִיד פִּרְיֹו מִמַּעַל וְשָׁרָשָׁיו מִתָּחַת׃ |
| 2:10 Y a vosotros os hice subir de la tierra de Egipto, y os conduje por el desierto cuarenta años, para que entraseis en posesión de la tierra del amorreo. |
Also I brought you up from the land of Egypt, and led you forty years through the wilderness, to possess the land of the Amorite. |
וְאָנֹכִי הֶעֱלֵיתִי אֶתְכֶם מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם וָאֹולֵךְ אֶתְכֶם בַּמִּדְבָּר אַרְבָּעִים שָׁנָה לָרֶשֶׁת אֶת־אֶרֶץ הָאֱמֹרִי׃ |
| 2:11 Y levanté de vuestros hijos para profetas, y de vuestros jóvenes para que fuesen nazareos. ¿No es esto así, dice Jehová, hijos de Israel? |
And I raised up of your sons for prophets, and of your young men for Nazarites. Is it not even thus, O ye children of Israel? saith the LORD. |
וָאָקִים מִבְּנֵיכֶם לִנְבִיאִים וּמִבַּחוּרֵיכֶם לִנְזִרִים הַאַף אֵין־זֹאת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל נְאֻם־יְהוָה׃ |
| 2:12 Mas vosotros disteis de beber vino a los nazareos, y a los profetas mandasteis diciendo: No profeticéis. |
But ye gave the Nazarites wine to drink; and commanded the prophets, saying, Prophesy not. |
וַתַּשְׁקוּ אֶת־הַנְּזִרִים יָיִן וְעַל־הַנְּבִיאִים צִוִּיתֶם לֵאמֹר לֹא תִּנָּבְאוּ׃ |
| 2:13 Pues he aquí, yo os apretaré en vuestro lugar, como se aprieta el carro lleno de gavillas; |
Behold, I am pressed under you, as a cart is pressed that is full of sheaves. |
הִנֵּה אָנֹכִי מֵעִיק תַּחְתֵּיכֶם כַּאֲשֶׁר תָּעִיק הָעֲגָלָה הַמְלֵאָה לָהּ עָמִיר׃ |
| 2:14 y el ligero no podrá huir, y al fuerte no le ayudará su fuerza, ni el valiente librará su vida. |
Therefore the flight shall perish from the swift, and the strong shall not strengthen his force, neither shall the mighty deliver himself: |
וְאָבַד מָנֹוס מִקָּל וְחָזָק לֹא־יְאַמֵּץ כֹּחֹו וְגִבֹּור לֹא־יְמַלֵּט נַפְשֹׁו׃ |
| 2:15 El que maneja el arco no resistirá, ni escapará el ligero de pies, ni el que cabalga en caballo salvará su vida. |
Neither shall he stand that handleth the bow; and he that is swift of foot shall not deliver himself: neither shall he that rideth the horse deliver himself. |
וְתֹפֵשׂ הַקֶּשֶׁת לֹא יַעֲמֹד וְקַל בְּרַגְלָיו לֹא יְמַלֵּט וְרֹכֵב הַסּוּס לֹא יְמַלֵּט נַפְשֹׁו׃ |
| 2:16 El esforzado de entre los valientes huirá desnudo aquel día, dice Jehová. |
And he that is courageous among the mighty shall flee away naked in that day, saith the LORD. |
וְאַמִּיץ לִבֹּו בַּגִּבֹּורִים עָרֹום יָנוּס בַּיֹּום־הַהוּא נְאֻם־יְהוָה׃ פ |
| 3:1 Oíd esta palabra que ha hablado Jehová contra vosotros, hijos de Israel, contra toda la familia que hice subir de la tierra de Egipto. Dice así: |
Hear this word that the LORD hath spoken against you, O children of Israel, against the whole family which I brought up from the land of Egypt, saying, |
שִׁמְעוּ אֶת־הַדָּבָר הַזֶּה אֲשֶׁר דִּבֶּר יְהוָה עֲלֵיכֶם בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל עַל כָּל־הַמִּשְׁפָּחָה אֲשֶׁר הֶעֱלֵיתִי מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם לֵאמֹר׃ |
| 3:2 A vosotros solamente he conocido de todas las familias de la tierra; por tanto, os castigaré por todas vuestras maldades. |
You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities. |
רַק אֶתְכֶם יָדַעְתִּי מִכֹּל מִשְׁפְּחֹות הָאֲדָמָה עַל־כֵּן אֶפְקֹד עֲלֵיכֶם אֵת כָּל־עֲוֹנֹתֵיכֶם׃ |
| 3:3 ¿Andarán dos juntos, si no estuvieren de acuerdo? |
Can two walk together, except they be agreed? |
הֲיֵלְכוּ שְׁנַיִם יַחְדָּו בִּלְתִּי אִם־נֹועָדוּ׃ |
| 3:4 ¿Rugirá el león en la selva sin haber presa? ¿Dará el leoncillo su rugido desde su guarida, si no apresare? |
Will a lion roar in the forest, when he hath no prey? will a young lion cry out of his den, if he have taken nothing? |
הֲיִשְׁאַג אַרְיֵה בַּיַּעַר וְטֶרֶף אֵין לֹו הֲיִתֵּן כְּפִיר קֹולֹו מִמְּעֹנָתֹו בִּלְתִּי אִם־לָכָד׃ |
| 3:5 ¿Caerá el ave en lazo sobre la tierra, sin haber cazador? ¿Se levantará el lazo de la tierra, si no ha atrapado algo? |
Can a bird fall in a snare upon the earth, where no gin is for him? shall one take up a snare from the earth, and have taken nothing at all? |
הֲתִפֹּל צִפֹּור עַל־פַּח הָאָרֶץ וּמֹוקֵשׁ אֵין לָהּ הֲיַעֲלֶה־פַּח מִן־הָאֲדָמָה וְלָכֹוד לֹא יִלְכֹּוד׃ |
| 3:6 ¿Se tocará la trompeta en la ciudad, y no se alborotará el pueblo? ¿Habrá algún mal en la ciudad, el cual Jehová no haya hecho? |
Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it? |
אִם־יִתָּקַע שֹׁופָר בְּעִיר וְעָם לֹא יֶחֱרָדוּ אִם־תִּהְיֶה רָעָה בְּעִיר וַיהוָה לֹא עָשָׂה׃ |
| 3:7 Porque no hará nada Jehová el Señor, sin que revele su secreto a sus siervos los profetas. |
Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. |
כִּי לֹא יַעֲשֶׂה אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה דָּבָר כִּי אִם־גָּלָה סֹודֹו אֶל־עֲבָדָיו הַנְּבִיאִים׃ |
| 3:8 Si el león ruge, ¿quién no temerá? Si habla Jehová el Señor, ¿quién no profetizará? |
The lion hath roared, who will not fear? the Lord GOD hath spoken, who can but prophesy? |
אַרְיֵה שָׁאָג מִי לֹא יִירָא אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה דִּבֶּר מִי לֹא יִנָּבֵא׃ |
| 3:9 Proclamad en los palacios de Asdod, y en los palacios de la tierra de Egipto, y decid: Reuníos sobre los montes de Samaria, y ved las muchas opresiones en medio de ella, y las violencias cometidas en su medio. |
Publish in the palaces at Ashdod, and in the palaces in the land of Egypt, and say, Assemble yourselves upon the mountains of Samaria, and behold the great tumults in the midst thereof, and the oppressed in the midst thereof. |
הַשְׁמִיעוּ עַל־אַרְמְנֹות בְּאַשְׁדֹּוד וְעַל־אַרְמְנֹות בְּאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם וְאִמְרוּ הֵאָסְפוּ עַל־הָרֵי שֹׁמְרֹון וּרְאוּ מְהוּמֹת רַבֹּות בְּתֹוכָהּ וַעֲשׁוּקִים בְּקִרְבָּהּ׃ |
| 3:10 No saben hacer lo recto, dice Jehová, atesorando rapiña y despojo en sus palacios. |
For they know not to do right, saith the LORD, who store up violence and robbery in their palaces. |
וְלֹא־יָדְעוּ עֲשֹׂות־נְכֹחָה נְאֻם־יְהוָה הָאֹוצְרִים חָמָס וָשֹׁד בְּאַרְמְנֹותֵיהֶם׃ פ |
| 3:11 Por tanto, Jehová el Señor ha dicho así: Un enemigo vendrá por todos lados de la tierra, y derribará tu fortaleza, y tus palacios serán saqueados. |
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; An adversary there shall be even round about the land; and he shall bring down thy strength from thee, and thy palaces shall be spoiled. |
לָכֵן כֹּה אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה צַר וּסְבִיב הָאָרֶץ וְהֹורִד מִמֵּךְ עֻזֵּךְ וְנָבֹזּוּ אַרְמְנֹותָיִךְ׃ |
| 3:12 Así ha dicho Jehová: De la manera que el pastor libra de la boca del león dos piernas, o la punta de una oreja, así escaparán los hijos de Israel que moran en Samaria en el rincón de una cama, y al lado de un lecho. |
Thus saith the LORD; As the shepherd taketh out of the mouth of the lion two legs, or a piece of an ear; so shall the children of Israel be taken out that dwell in Samaria in the corner of a bed, and in Damascus in a couch. |
כֹּה אָמַר יְהוָה כַּאֲשֶׁר יַצִּיל הָרֹעֶה מִפִּי הָאֲרִי שְׁתֵּי כְרָעַיִם אֹו בְדַל־אֹזֶן כֵּן יִנָּצְלוּ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל הַיֹּשְׁבִים בְּשֹׁמְרֹון בִּפְאַת מִטָּה וּבִדְמֶשֶׁק עָרֶשׂ׃ |
| 3:13 Oíd y testificad contra la casa de Jacob, ha dicho Jehová Dios de los ejércitos: |
Hear ye, and testify in the house of Jacob, saith the Lord GOD, the God of hosts, |
שִׁמְעוּ וְהָעִידוּ בְּבֵית יַעֲקֹב נְאֻם־אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה אֱלֹהֵי הַצְּבָאֹות׃ |
| 3:14 Que el día que castigue las rebeliones de Israel, castigaré también los altares de Bet-el; y serán cortados los cuernos del altar, y caerán a tierra. |
That in the day that I shall visit the transgressions of Israel upon him I will also visit the altars of Bethel: and the horns of the altar shall be cut off, and fall to the ground. |
כִּי בְּיֹום פָּקְדִי פִשְׁעֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵל עָלָיו וּפָקַדְתִּי עַל־מִזְבְּחֹות בֵּית־אֵל וְנִגְדְּעוּ קַרְנֹות הַמִּזְבֵּחַ וְנָפְלוּ לָאָרֶץ׃ |
| 3:15 Y heriré la casa de invierno con la casa de verano, y las casas de marfil perecerán; y muchas casas serán arruinadas, dice Jehová. |
And I will smite the winter house with the summer house; and the houses of ivory shall perish, and the great houses shall have an end, saith the LORD. |
וְהִכֵּיתִי בֵית־הַחֹרֶף עַל־בֵּית הַקָּיִץ וְאָבְדוּ בָּתֵּי הַשֵּׁן וְסָפוּ בָּתִּים רַבִּים נְאֻם־יְהוָה׃ ס |
| 4:1 Oíd esta palabra, vacas de Basán, que estáis en el monte de Samaria, que oprimís a los pobres y quebrantáis a los menesterosos, que decís a vuestros señores: Traed, y beberemos. |
Hear this word, ye kine of Bashan, that are in the mountain of Samaria, which oppress the poor, which crush the needy, which say to their masters, Bring, and let us drink. |
שִׁמְעוּ הַדָּבָר הַזֶּה פָּרֹות הַבָּשָׁן אֲשֶׁר בְּהַר שֹׁמְרֹון הָעֹשְׁקֹות דַּלִּים הָרֹצְצֹות אֶבְיֹונִים הָאֹמְרֹת לַאֲדֹנֵיהֶם הָבִיאָה וְנִשְׁתֶּה׃ |
| 4:2 Jehová el Señor juró por su santidad: He aquí, vienen sobre vosotras días en que os llevarán con ganchos, y a vuestros descendientes con anzuelos de pescador; |
The Lord GOD hath sworn by his holiness, that, lo, the days shall come upon you, that he will take you away with hooks, and your posterity with fishhooks. |
נִשְׁבַּע אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה בְּקָדְשֹׁו כִּי הִנֵּה יָמִים בָּאִים עֲלֵיכֶם וְנִשָּׂא אֶתְכֶם בְּצִנֹּות וְאַחֲרִיתְכֶן בְּסִירֹות דּוּגָה׃ |
| 4:3 y saldréis por las brechas una tras otra, y seréis echadas del palacio, dice Jehová. |
And ye shall go out at the breaches, every cow at that which is before her; and ye shall cast them into the palace, saith the LORD. |
וּפְרָצִים תֵּצֶאנָה אִשָּׁה נֶגְדָּהּ וְהִשְׁלַכְתֶּנָה הַהַרְמֹונָה נְאֻם־יְהוָה׃ |
| 4:4 Id a Bet-el, y prevaricad; aumentad en Gilgal la rebelión, y traed de mañana vuestros sacrificios, y vuestros diezmos cada tres días. |
Come to Bethel, and transgress; at Gilgal multiply transgression; and bring your sacrifices every morning, and your tithes after three years: |
בֹּאוּ בֵית־אֵל וּפִשְׁעוּ הַגִּלְגָּל הַרְבּוּ לִפְשֹׁעַ וְהָבִיאוּ לַבֹּקֶר זִבְחֵיכֶם לִשְׁלֹשֶׁת יָמִים מַעְשְׂרֹתֵיכֶם׃ |
| 4:5 Y ofreced sacrificio de alabanza con pan leudado, y proclamad, publicad ofrendas voluntarias, pues que así lo queréis, hijos de Israel, dice Jehová el Señor. |
And offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving with leaven, and proclaim and publish the free offerings: for this liketh you, O ye children of Israel, saith the Lord GOD. |
וְקַטֵּר מֵחָמֵץ תֹּודָה וְקִרְאוּ נְדָבֹות הַשְׁמִיעוּ כִּי כֵן אֲהַבְתֶּם בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל נְאֻם אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה׃ |
| 4:6 Os hice estar a diente limpio en todas vuestras ciudades, y hubo falta de pan en todos vuestros pueblos; mas no os volvisteis a mí, dice Jehová. |
And I also have given you cleanness of teeth in all your cities, and want of bread in all your places: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD. |
וְגַם־אֲנִי נָתַתִּי לָכֶם נִקְיֹון שִׁנַּיִם בְּכָל־עָרֵיכֶם וְחֹסֶר לֶחֶם בְּכֹל מְקֹומֹתֵיכֶם וְלֹא־שַׁבְתֶּם עָדַי נְאֻם־יְהוָה׃ |
| 4:7 También os detuve la lluvia tres meses antes de la siega; e hice llover sobre una ciudad, y sobre otra ciudad no hice llover; sobre una parte llovió, y la parte sobre la cual no llovió, se secó. |
And also I have withholden the rain from you, when there were yet three months to the harvest: and I caused it to rain upon one city, and caused it not to rain upon another city: one piece was rained upon, and the piece whereupon it rained not withered. |
וְגַם אָנֹכִי מָנַעְתִּי מִכֶּם אֶת־הַגֶּשֶׁם בְּעֹוד שְׁלֹשָׁה חֳדָשִׁים לַקָּצִיר וְהִמְטַרְתִּי עַל־עִיר אֶחָת וְעַל־עִיר אַחַת לֹא אַמְטִיר חֶלְקָה אַחַת תִּמָּטֵר וְחֶלְקָה אֲשֶׁר־לֹא־תַמְטִיר עָלֶיהָ תִּיבָשׁ׃ |
| 4:8 Y venían dos o tres ciudades a una ciudad para beber agua, y no se saciaban; con todo, no os volvisteis a mí, dice Jehová. |
So two or three cities wandered unto one city, to drink water; but they were not satisfied: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD. |
וְנָעוּ שְׁתַּיִם שָׁלֹשׁ עָרִים אֶל־עִיר אַחַת לִשְׁתֹּות מַיִם וְלֹא יִשְׂבָּעוּ וְלֹא־שַׁבְתֶּם עָדַי נְאֻם־יְהוָה׃ |
| 4:9 Os herí con viento solano y con oruga; la langosta devoró vuestros muchos huertos y vuestras viñas, y vuestros higuerales y vuestros olivares; pero nunca os volvisteis a mí, dice Jehová. |
I have smitten you with blasting and mildew: when your gardens and your vineyards and your fig trees and your olive trees increased, the palmerworm devoured them: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD. |
הִכֵּיתִי אֶתְכֶם בַּשִּׁדָּפֹון וּבַיֵּרָקֹון הַרְבֹּות גַּנֹּותֵיכֶם וְכַרְמֵיכֶם וּתְאֵנֵיכֶם וְזֵיתֵיכֶם יֹאכַל הַגָּזָם וְלֹא־שַׁבְתֶּם עָדַי נְאֻם־יְהוָה׃ ס |
| 4:10 Envié contra vosotros mortandad tal como en Egipto; maté a espada a vuestros jóvenes, con cautiverio de vuestros caballos, e hice subir el hedor de vuestros campamentos hasta vuestras narices; mas no os volvisteis a mí, dice Jehová. |
I have sent among you the pestilence after the manner of Egypt: your young men have I slain with the sword, and have taken away your horses; and I have made the stink of your camps to come up unto your nostrils: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD. |
שִׁלַּחְתִּי בָכֶם דֶּבֶר בְּדֶרֶךְ מִצְרַיִם הָרַגְתִּי בַחֶרֶב בַּחוּרֵיכֶם עִם שְׁבִי סוּסֵיכֶם וָאַעֲלֶה בְּאֹשׁ מַחֲנֵיכֶם וּבְאַפְּכֶם וְלֹא־שַׁבְתֶּם עָדַי נְאֻם־יְהוָה׃ |
| 4:11 Os trastorné como cuando Dios trastornó a Sodoma y a Gomorra, y fuisteis como tizón escapado del fuego; mas no os volvisteis a mí, dice Jehová. |
I have overthrown some of you, as God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and ye were as a firebrand plucked out of the burning: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD. |
הָפַכְתִּי בָכֶם כְּמַהְפֵּכַת אֱלֹהִים אֶת־סְדֹם וְאֶת־עֲמֹרָה וַתִּהְיוּ כְּאוּד מֻצָּל מִשְּׂרֵפָה וְלֹא־שַׁבְתֶּם עָדַי נְאֻם־יְהוָה׃ ס |
| 4:12 Por tanto, de esta manera te haré a ti, oh Israel; y porque te he de hacer esto, prepárate para venir al encuentro de tu Dios, oh Israel. |
Therefore thus will I do unto thee, O Israel: and because I will do this unto thee, prepare to meet thy God, O Israel. |
לָכֵן כֹּה אֶעֱשֶׂה־לְּךָ יִשְׂרָאֵל עֵקֶב כִּי־זֹאת אֶעֱשֶׂה־לָּךְ הִכֹּון לִקְרַאת־אֱלֹהֶיךָ יִשְׂרָאֵל׃ |
| 4:13 Porque he aquí, el que forma los montes, y crea el viento, y anuncia al hombre su pensamiento; el que hace de las tinieblas mañana, y pasa sobre las alturas de la tierra; Jehová Dios de los ejércitos es su nombre. |
For, lo, he that formeth the mountains, and createth the wind, and declareth unto man what is his thought, that maketh the morning darkness, and treadeth upon the high places of the earth, The LORD, The God of hosts, is his name. |
כִּי הִנֵּה יֹוצֵר הָרִים וּבֹרֵא רוּחַ וּמַגִּיד לְאָדָם מַה־שֵּׂחֹו עֹשֵׂה שַׁחַר עֵיפָה וְדֹרֵךְ עַל־בָּמֳתֵי אָרֶץ יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי־צְבָאֹות שְׁמֹו׃ ס |
| 5:1 Oíd esta palabra que yo levanto para lamentación sobre vosotros, casa de Israel. |
Hear ye this word which I take up against you, even a lamentation, O house of Israel. |
שִׁמְעוּ אֶת־הַדָּבָר הַזֶּה אֲשֶׁר אָנֹכִי נֹשֵׂא עֲלֵיכֶם קִינָה בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל׃ |
| 5:2 Cayó la virgen de Israel, y no podrá levantarse ya más; fue dejada sobre su tierra, no hay quien la levante. |
The virgin of Israel is fallen; she shall no more rise: she is forsaken upon her land; there is none to raise her up. |
נָפְלָה לֹא־תֹוסִיף קוּם בְּתוּלַת יִשְׂרָאֵל נִטְּשָׁה עַל־אַדְמָתָהּ אֵין מְקִימָהּ׃ |
| 5:3 Porque así ha dicho Jehová el Señor: La ciudad que salga con mil, volverá con ciento, y la que salga con ciento volverá con diez, en la casa de Israel. |
For thus saith the Lord GOD; The city that went out by a thousand shall leave an hundred, and that which went forth by an hundred shall leave ten, to the house of Israel. |
כִּי כֹה אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה הָעִיר הַיֹּצֵאת אֶלֶף תַּשְׁאִיר מֵאָה וְהַיֹּוצֵאת מֵאָה תַּשְׁאִיר עֲשָׂרָה לְבֵית יִשְׂרָאֵל׃ ס |
| 5:4 Pero así dice Jehová a la casa de Israel: Buscadme, y viviréis; |
For thus saith the LORD unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live: |
כִּי כֹה אָמַר יְהוָה לְבֵית יִשְׂרָאֵל דִּרְשׁוּנִי וִחְיוּ׃ |
| 5:5 y no busquéis a Bet-el, ni entréis en Gilgal, ni paséis a Beerseba; porque Gilgal será llevada en cautiverio, y Bet-el será deshecha. |
But seek not Bethel, nor enter into Gilgal, and pass not to Beersheba: for Gilgal shall surely go into captivity, and Bethel shall come to nought. |
וְאַל־תִּדְרְשׁוּ בֵּית־אֵל וְהַגִּלְגָּל לֹא תָבֹאוּ וּבְאֵר שֶׁבַע לֹא תַעֲבֹרוּ כִּי הַגִּלְגָּל גָּלֹה יִגְלֶה וּבֵית־אֵל יִהְיֶה לְאָוֶן׃ |
| 5:6 Buscad a Jehová, y vivid; no sea que acometa como fuego a la casa de José y la consuma, sin haber en Bet=el quien lo apague. |
Seek the LORD, and ye shall live; lest he break out like fire in the house of Joseph, and devour it, and there be none to quench it in Bethel. |
דִּרְשׁוּ אֶת־יְהוָה וִחְיוּ פֶּן־יִצְלַח כָּאֵשׁ בֵּית יֹוסֵף וְאָכְלָה וְאֵין־מְכַבֶּה לְבֵית־אֵל׃ |
| 5:7 Los que convertís en ajenjo el juicio, y la justicia la echáis por tierra, |
Ye who turn judgment to wormwood, and leave off righteousness in the earth, |
הַהֹפְכִים לְלַעֲנָה מִשְׁפָּט וּצְדָקָה לָאָרֶץ הִנִּיחוּ׃ |
| 5:8 buscad al que hace las Pléyades y el Orión, y vuelve las tinieblas en mañana, y hace oscurecer el día como noche; el que llama a las aguas del mar, y las derrama sobre la faz de la tierra; Jehová es su nombre; |
Seek him that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name: |
עֹשֵׂה כִימָה וּכְסִיל וְהֹפֵךְ לַבֹּקֶר צַלְמָוֶת וְיֹום לַיְלָה הֶחְשִׁיךְ הַקֹּורֵא לְמֵי־הַיָּם וַיִּשְׁפְּכֵם עַל־פְּנֵי הָאָרֶץ יְהוָה שְׁמֹו׃ ס |
| 5:9 que da esfuerzo al despojador sobre el fuerte, y hace que el despojador venga sobre la fortaleza. |
That strengtheneth the spoiled against the strong, so that the spoiled shall come against the fortress. |
הַמַּבְלִיג שֹׁד עַל־עָז וְשֹׁד עַל־מִבְצָר יָבֹוא׃ |
| 5:10 Ellos aborrecieron al reprensor en la puerta de la ciudad, y al que hablaba lo recto abominaron. |
They hate him that rebuketh in the gate, and they abhor him that speaketh uprightly. |
שָׂנְאוּ בַשַּׁעַר מֹוכִיחַ וְדֹבֵר תָּמִים יְתָעֵבוּ׃ |
| 5:11 Por tanto, puesto que vejáis al pobre y recibís de él carga de trigo, edificasteis casas de piedra labrada, mas no las habitaréis; plantasteis hermosas viñas, mas no beberéis el vino de ellas. |
Forasmuch therefore as your treading is upon the poor, and ye take from him burdens of wheat: ye have built houses of hewn stone, but ye shall not dwell in them; ye have planted pleasant vineyards, but ye shall not drink wine of them. |
לָכֵן יַעַן בֹּושַׁסְכֶם עַל־דָּל וּמַשְׂאַת־בַּר תִּקְחוּ מִמֶּנּוּ בָּתֵּי גָזִית בְּנִיתֶם וְלֹא־תֵשְׁבוּ בָם כַּרְמֵי־חֶמֶד נְטַעְתֶּם וְלֹא תִשְׁתּוּ אֶת־יֵינָם׃ |
| 5:12 Porque yo sé de vuestras muchas rebeliones, y de vuestros grandes pecados; sé que afligís al justo, y recibís cohecho, y en los tribunales hacéis perder su causa a los pobres. |
For I know your manifold transgressions and your mighty sins: they afflict the just, they take a bribe, and they turn aside the poor in the gate from their right. |
כִּי יָדַעְתִּי רַבִּים פִּשְׁעֵיכֶם וַעֲצֻמִים חַטֹּאתֵיכֶם צֹרְרֵי צַדִּיק לֹקְחֵי כֹפֶר וְאֶבְיֹונִים בַּשַּׁעַר הִטּוּ׃ |
| 5:13 Por tanto, el prudente en tal tiempo calla, porque el tiempo es malo. |
Therefore the prudent shall keep silence in that time; for it is an evil time. |
לָכֵן הַמַּשְׂכִּיל בָּעֵת הַהִיא יִדֹּם כִּי עֵת רָעָה הִיא׃ |
| 5:14 Buscad lo bueno, y no lo malo, para que viváis; porque así Jehová Dios de los ejércitos estará con vosotros, como decís. |
Seek good, and not evil, that ye may live: and so the LORD, the God of hosts, shall be with you, as ye have spoken. |
דִּרְשׁוּ־טֹוב וְאַל־רָע לְמַעַן תִּחְיוּ וִיהִי־כֵן יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי־צְבָאֹות אִתְּכֶם כַּאֲשֶׁר אֲמַרְתֶּם׃ |
| 5:15 Aborreced el mal, y amad el bien, y estableced la justicia en juicio; quizá Jehová Dios de los ejércitos tendrá piedad del remanente de José. |
Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment in the gate: it may be that the LORD God of hosts will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph. |
שִׂנְאוּ־רָע וְאֶהֱבוּ טֹוב וְהַצִּיגוּ בַשַּׁעַר מִשְׁפָּט אוּלַי יֶחֱנַן יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי־צְבָאֹות שְׁאֵרִית יֹוסֵף׃ ס |
| 5:16 Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová, Dios de los ejércitos: En todas las plazas habrá llanto, y en todas las calles dirán: ¡Ay! ¡Ay!, y al labrador llamarán a lloro, y a endecha a los que sepan endechar. |
Therefore the LORD, the God of hosts, the Lord, saith thus; Wailing shall be in all streets; and they shall say in all the highways, Alas! alas! and they shall call the husbandman to mourning, and such as are skilful of lamentation to wailing. |
לָכֵן כֹּה־אָמַר יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי צְבָאֹות אֲדֹנָי בְּכָל־רְחֹבֹות מִסְפֵּד וּבְכָל־חוּצֹות יֹאמְרוּ הֹו־הֹו וְקָרְאוּ אִכָּר אֶל־אֵבֶל וּמִסְפֵּד אֶל־יֹודְעֵי נֶהִי׃ |
| 5:17 Y en todas las viñas habrá llanto; porque pasaré en medio de ti, dice Jehová. |
And in all vineyards shall be wailing: for I will pass through thee, saith the LORD. |
וּבְכָל־כְּרָמִים מִסְפֵּד כִּי־אֶעֱבֹר בְּקִרְבְּךָ אָמַר יְהוָה׃ ס |
| 5:18 ¡Ay de los que desean el día de Jehová! ¿Para qué queréis este día de Jehová? Será de tinieblas, y no de luz; |
Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light. |
הֹוי הַמִּתְאַוִּים אֶת־יֹום יְהוָה לָמָּה־זֶּה לָכֶם יֹום יְהוָה הוּא־חֹשֶׁךְ וְלֹא־אֹור׃ |
| 5:19 como el que huye de delante del león, y se encuentra con el oso; o como si entrare en casa y apoyare su mano en la pared, y le muerde una culebra. |
As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him. |
כַּאֲשֶׁר יָנוּס אִישׁ מִפְּנֵי הָאֲרִי וּפְגָעֹו הַדֹּב וּבָא הַבַּיִת וְסָמַךְ יָדֹו עַל־הַקִּיר וּנְשָׁכֹו הַנָּחָשׁ׃ |
| 5:20 ¿No será el día de Jehová tinieblas, y no luz; oscuridad, que no tiene resplandor? |
Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it? |
הֲלֹא־חֹשֶׁךְ יֹום יְהוָה וְלֹא־אֹור וְאָפֵל וְלֹא־נֹגַהּ לֹו׃ |
| 5:21 Aborrecí, abominé vuestras solemnidades, y no me complaceré en vuestras asambleas. |
I hate, I despise your feast days, and I will not smell in your solemn assemblies. |
שָׂנֵאתִי מָאַסְתִּי חַגֵּיכֶם וְלֹא אָרִיחַ בְּעַצְּרֹתֵיכֶם׃ |
| 5:22 Y si me ofreciereis vuestros holocaustos y vuestras ofrendas, no los recibiré, ni miraré a las ofrendas de paz de vuestros animales engordados. |
Though ye offer me burnt offerings and your meat offerings, I will not accept them: neither will I regard the peace offerings of your fat beasts. |
כִּי אִם־תַּעֲלוּ־לִי עֹלֹות וּמִנְחֹתֵיכֶם לֹא אֶרְצֶה וְשֶׁלֶם מְרִיאֵיכֶם לֹא אַבִּיט׃ |
| 5:23 Quita de mí la multitud de tus cantares, pues no escucharé las salmodias de tus instrumentos. |
Take thou away from me the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols. |
הָסֵר מֵעָלַי הֲמֹון שִׁרֶיךָ וְזִמְרַת נְבָלֶיךָ לֹא אֶשְׁמָע׃ |
| 5:24 Pero corra el juicio como las aguas, y la justicia como impetuoso arroyo. |
But let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream. |
וְיִגַּל כַּמַּיִם מִשְׁפָּט וּצְדָקָה כְּנַחַל אֵיתָן׃ |
| 5:25 ¿Me ofrecisteis sacrificios y ofrendas en el desierto en cuarenta años, oh casa de Israel? |
Have ye offered unto me sacrifices and offerings in the wilderness forty years, O house of Israel? |
הַזְּבָחִים וּמִנְחָה הִגַּשְׁתֶּם־לִי בַמִּדְבָּר אַרְבָּעִים שָׁנָה בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל׃ |
| 5:26 Antes bien, llevabais el tabernáculo de vuestro Moloc y Quiún, ídolos vuestros, la estrella de vuestros dioses que os hicisteis. |
But ye have borne the tabernacle of your Moloch and Chiun your images, the star of your god, which ye made to yourselves. |
וּנְשָׂאתֶם אֵת סִכּוּת מַלְכְּכֶם וְאֵת כִּיּוּן צַלְמֵיכֶם כֹּוכַב אֱלֹהֵיכֶם אֲשֶׁר עֲשִׂיתֶם לָכֶם׃ |
| 5:27 Os haré, pues, transportar más allá de Damasco, ha dicho Jehová, cuyo nombre es Dios de los ejércitos. |
Therefore will I cause you to go into captivity beyond Damascus, saith the LORD, whose name is The God of hosts. |
וְהִגְלֵיתִי אֶתְכֶם מֵהָלְאָה לְדַמָּשֶׂק אָמַר יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי־צְבָאֹות שְׁמֹו׃ פ |
| 6:1 ¡Ay de los reposados en Sion, y de los confiados en el monte de Samaria, los notables y principales entre las naciones, a los cuales acude la casa de Israel! |
Woe to them that are at ease in Zion, and trust in the mountain of Samaria, which are named chief of the nations, to whom the house of Israel came! |
הֹוי הַשַּׁאֲנַנִּים בְּצִיֹּון וְהַבֹּטְחִים בְּהַר שֹׁמְרֹון נְקֻבֵי רֵאשִׁית הַגֹּויִם וּבָאוּ לָהֶם בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל׃ |
| 6:2 Pasad a Calne, y mirad; y de allí id a la gran Hamat; descended luego a Gat de los filisteos; ved si son aquellos reinos mejores que estos reinos, si su extensión es mayor que la vuestra, |
Pass ye unto Calneh, and see; and from thence go ye to Hamath the great: then go down to Gath of the Philistines: be they better than these kingdoms? or their border greater than your border? |
עִבְרוּ כַלְנֵה וּרְאוּ וּלְכוּ מִשָּׁם חֲמַת רַבָּה וּרְדוּ גַת־פְּלִשְׁתּים הֲטֹובִים מִן־הַמַּמְלָכֹות הָאֵלֶּה אִם־רַב גְּבוּלָם מִגְּבֻלְכֶם׃ |
| 6:3 oh vosotros que dilatáis el día malo, y acercáis la silla de iniquidad. |
Ye that put far away the evil day, and cause the seat of violence to come near; |
הַמְנַדִּים לְיֹום רָע וַתַּגִּישׁוּן שֶׁבֶת חָמָס׃ |
| 6:4 Duermen en camas de marfil, y reposan sobre sus lechos; y comen los corderos del rebaño, y los novillos de en medio del engordadero; |
That lie upon beds of ivory, and stretch themselves upon their couches, and eat the lambs out of the flock, and the calves out of the midst of the stall; |
הַשֹּׁכְבִים עַל־מִטֹּות שֵׁן וּסְרֻחִים עַל־עַרְשֹׂותָם וְאֹכְלִים כָּרִים מִצֹּאן וַעֲגָלִים מִתֹּוךְ מַרְבֵּק׃ |
| 6:5 gorjean al son de la flauta, e inventan instrumentos musicales, como David; |
That chant to the sound of the viol, and invent to themselves instruments of musick, like David; |
הַפֹּרְטִים עַל־פִּי הַנָּבֶל כְּדָוִיד חָשְׁבוּ לָהֶם כְּלֵי־שִׁיר׃ |
| 6:6 beben vino en tazones, y se ungen con los ungüentos más preciosos; y no se afligen por el quebrantamiento de José. |
That drink wine in bowls, and anoint themselves with the chief ointments: but they are not grieved for the affliction of Joseph. |
הַשֹּׁתִים בְּמִזְרְקֵי יַיִן וְרֵאשִׁית שְׁמָנִים יִמְשָׁחוּ וְלֹא נֶחְלוּ עַל־שֵׁבֶר יֹוסֵף׃ |
| 6:7 Por tanto, ahora irán a la cabeza de los que van a cautividad, y se acercará el duelo de los que se entregan a los placeres. |
Therefore now shall they go captive with the first that go captive, and the banquet of them that stretched themselves shall be removed. |
לָכֵן עַתָּה יִגְלוּ בְּרֹאשׁ גֹּלִים וְסָר מִרְזַח סְרוּחִים׃ פ |
| 6:8 Jehová el Señor juró por sí mismo, Jehová Dios de los ejércitos ha dicho: Abomino la grandeza de Jacob, y aborrezco sus palacios; y entregaré al enemigo la ciudad y cuanto hay en ella. |
The Lord GOD hath sworn by himself, saith the LORD the God of hosts, I abhor the excellency of Jacob, and hate his palaces: therefore will I deliver up the city with all that is therein. |
נִשְׁבַּע אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה בְּנַפְשֹׁו נְאֻם־יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי צְבָאֹות מְתָאֵב אָנֹכִי אֶת־גְּאֹון יַעֲקֹב וְאַרְמְנֹתָיו שָׂנֵאתִי וְהִסְגַּרְתִּי עִיר וּמְלֹאָהּ׃ |
| 6:9 Y acontecerá que si diez hombres quedaren en una casa, morirán. |
And it shall come to pass, if there remain ten men in one house, that they shall die. |
וְהָיָה אִם־יִוָּתְרוּ עֲשָׂרָה אֲנָשִׁים בְּבַיִת אֶחָד וָמֵתוּ׃ |
| 6:10 Y un pariente tomará a cada uno, y lo quemará para sacar los huesos de casa; y dirá al que estará en los rincones de la casa: ¿Hay aún alguno contigo? Y dirá: No. Y dirá aquél: Calla, porque no podemos mencionar el nombre de Jehová. |
And a man's uncle shall take him up, and he that burneth him, to bring out the bones out of the house, and shall say unto him that is by the sides of the house, Is there yet any with thee? and he shall say, No. Then shall he say, Hold thy tongue: for we may not make mention of the name of the LORD. |
וּנְשָׂאֹו דֹּודֹו וּמְסָרְפֹו לְהֹוצִיא עֲצָמִים מִן־הַבַּיִת וְאָמַר לַאֲשֶׁר בְּיַרְכְּתֵי הַבַּיִת הַעֹוד עִמָּךְ וְאָמַר אָפֶס וְאָמַר הָס כִּי לֹא לְהַזְכִּיר בְּשֵׁם יְהוָה׃ |
| 6:11 Porque he aquí, Jehová mandará, y herirá con hendiduras la casa mayor, y la casa menor con aberturas. |
For, behold, the LORD commandeth, and he will smite the great house with breaches, and the little house with clefts. |
כִּי־הִנֵּה יְהוָה מְצַוֶּה וְהִכָּה הַבַּיִת הַגָּדֹול רְסִיסִים וְהַבַּיִת הַקָּטֹן בְּקִעִים׃ |
| 6:12 ¿Correrán los caballos por las peñas? ¿Ararán en ellas con bueyes? ¿Por qué habéis vosotros convertido el juicio en veneno, y el fruto de justicia en ajenjo? |
Shall horses run upon the rock? will one plow there with oxen? for ye have turned judgment into gall, and the fruit of righteousness into hemlock: |
הַיְרֻצוּן בַּסֶּלַע סוּסִים אִם־יַחֲרֹושׁ בַּבְּקָרִים כִּי־הֲפַכְתֶּם לְרֹאשׁ מִשְׁפָּט וּפְרִי צְדָקָה לְלַעֲנָה׃ |
| 6:13 Vosotros que os alegráis en nada, que decís: ¿No hemos adquirido poder con nuestra fuerza? |
Ye which rejoice in a thing of nought, which say, Have we not taken to us horns by our own strength? |
הַשְּׂמֵחִים לְלֹא דָבָר הָאֹמְרִים הֲלֹוא בְחָזְקֵנוּ לָקַחְנוּ לָנוּ קַרְנָיִם׃ |
| 6:14 Pues he aquí, oh casa de Israel, dice Jehová Dios de los ejércitos, levantaré yo sobre vosotros a una nación que os oprimirá desde la entrada de Hamat hasta el arroyo del Arabá. |
But, behold, I will raise up against you a nation, O house of Israel, saith the LORD the God of hosts; and they shall afflict you from the entering in of Hemath unto the river of the wilderness. |
כִּי הִנְנִי מֵקִים עֲלֵיכֶם בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל נְאֻם־יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי הַצְּבָאֹות גֹּוי וְלָחֲצוּ אֶתְכֶם מִלְּבֹוא חֲמָת עַד־נַחַל הָעֲרָבָה׃ ס |
| 7:1 Así me ha mostrado Jehová el Señor: He aquí, él criaba langostas cuando comenzaba a crecer el heno tardío; y he aquí era el heno tardío después de las siegas del rey. |
Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me; and, behold, he formed grasshoppers in the beginning of the shooting up of the latter growth; and, lo, it was the latter growth after the king's mowings. |
כֹּה הִרְאַנִי אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה וְהִנֵּה יֹוצֵר גֹּבַי בִּתְחִלַּת עֲלֹות הַלָּקֶשׁ וְהִנֵּה־לֶקֶשׁ אַחַר גִּזֵּי הַמֶּלֶךְ׃ |
| 7:2 Y aconteció que cuando acabó de comer la hierba de la tierra, yo dije: Señor Jehová, perdona ahora; ¿quién levantará a Jacob? porque es pequeño. |
And it came to pass, that when they had made an end of eating the grass of the land, then I said, O Lord GOD, forgive, I beseech thee: by whom shall Jacob arise? for he is small. |
וְהָיָה אִם־כִּלָּה לֶאֱכֹול אֶת־עֵשֶׂב הָאָרֶץ וָאֹמַר אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה סְלַח־נָא מִי יָקוּם יַעֲקֹב כִּי קָטֹן הוּא׃ |
| 7:3 Se arrepintió Jehová de esto: No será, dijo Jehová. |
The LORD repented for this: It shall not be, saith the LORD. |
נִחַם יְהוָה עַל־זֹאת לֹא תִהְיֶה אָמַר יְהוָה׃ |
| 7:4 Jehová el Señor me mostró así: He aquí, Jehová el Señor llamaba para juzgar con fuego; y consumió un gran abismo, y consumió una parte de la tierra. |
Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me: and, behold, the Lord GOD called to contend by fire, and it devoured the great deep, and did eat up a part. |
כֹּה הִרְאַנִי אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה וְהִנֵּה קֹרֵא לָרִב בָּאֵשׁ אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה וַתֹּאכַל אֶת־תְּהֹום רַבָּה וְאָכְלָה אֶת־הַחֵלֶק׃ |
| 7:5 Y dije: Señor Jehová, cesa ahora; ¿quién levantará a Jacob? porque es pequeño. |
Then said I, O Lord GOD, cease, I beseech thee: by whom shall Jacob arise? for he is small. |
וָאֹמַר אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה חֲדַל־נָא מִי יָקוּם יַעֲקֹב כִּי קָטֹן הוּא׃ |
| 7:6 Se arrepintió Jehová de esto: No será esto tampoco, dijo Jehová el Señor. |
The LORD repented for this: This also shall not be, saith the Lord GOD. |
נִחַם יְהוָה עַל־זֹאת גַּם־הִיא לֹא תִהְיֶה אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה׃ ס |
| 7:7 Me enseñó así: He aquí el Señor estaba sobre un muro hecho a plomo, y en su mano una plomada de albañil. |
Thus he shewed me: and, behold, the Lord stood upon a wall made by a plumbline, with a plumbline in his hand. |
כֹּה הִרְאַנִי וְהִנֵּה אֲדֹנָי נִצָּב עַל־חֹומַת אֲנָךְ וּבְיָדֹו אֲנָךְ׃ |
| 7:8 Jehová entonces me dijo: ¿Qué ves, Amós? Y dije: Una plomada de albañil. Y el Señor dijo: He aquí, yo pongo plomada de albañil en medio de mi pueblo Israel; no lo toleraré más. |
And the LORD said unto me, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A plumbline. Then said the Lord, Behold, I will set a plumbline in the midst of my people Israel: I will not again pass by them any more: |
וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֵלַי מָה־אַתָּה רֹאֶה עָמֹוס וָאֹמַר אֲנָךְ וַיֹּאמֶר אֲדֹנָי הִנְנִי שָׂם אֲנָךְ בְּקֶרֶב עַמִּי יִשְׂרָאֵל לֹא־אֹוסִיף עֹוד עֲבֹור לֹו׃ |
| 7:9 Los lugares altos de Isaac serán destruidos, y los santuarios de Israel serán asolados, y me levantaré con espada sobre la casa de Jeroboam. |
And the high places of Isaac shall be desolate, and the sanctuaries of Israel shall be laid waste; and I will rise against the house of Jeroboam with the sword. |
וְנָשַׁמּוּ בָּמֹות יִשְׂחָק וּמִקְדְּשֵׁי יִשְׂרָאֵל יֶחֱרָבוּ וְקַמְתִּי עַל־בֵּית יָרָבְעָם בֶּחָרֶב׃ פ |
| 7:10 Entonces el sacerdote Amasías de Bet-el envió a decir a Jeroboam rey de Israel: Amós se ha levantado contra ti en medio de la casa de Israel; la tierra no puede sufrir todas sus palabras. |
Then Amaziah the priest of Bethel sent to Jeroboam king of Israel, saying, Amos hath conspired against thee in the midst of the house of Israel: the land is not able to bear all his words. |
וַיִּשְׁלַח אֲמַצְיָה כֹּהֵן בֵּית־אֵל אֶל־יָרָבְעָם מֶלֶךְ־יִשְׂרָאֵל לֵאמֹר קָשַׁר עָלֶיךָ עָמֹוס בְּקֶרֶב בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל לֹא־תוּכַל הָאָרֶץ לְהָכִיל אֶת־כָּל־דְּבָרָיו׃ |
| 7:11 Porque así ha dicho Amós: Jeroboam morirá a espada, e Israel será llevado de su tierra en cautiverio. |
For thus Amos saith, Jeroboam shall die by the sword, and Israel shall surely be led away captive out of their own land. |
כִּי־כֹה אָמַר עָמֹוס בַּחֶרֶב יָמוּת יָרָבְעָם וְיִשְׂרָאֵל גָּלֹה יִגְלֶה מֵעַל אַדְמָתֹו׃ ס |
| 7:12 Y Amasías dijo a Amós: Vidente, vete, huye a tierra de Judá, y come allá tu pan, y profetiza allá; |
Also Amaziah said unto Amos, O thou seer, go, flee thee away into the land of Judah, and there eat bread, and prophesy there: |
וַיֹּאמֶר אֲמַצְיָה אֶל־עָמֹוס חֹזֶה לֵךְ בְּרַח־לְךָ אֶל־אֶרֶץ יְהוּדָה וֶאֱכָל־שָׁם לֶחֶם וְשָׁם תִּנָּבֵא׃ |
| 7:13 y no profetices más en Bet-el, porque es santuario del rey, y capital del reino. |
But prophesy not again any more at Bethel: for it is the king's chapel, and it is the king's court. |
וּבֵית־אֵל לֹא־תֹוסִיף עֹוד לְהִנָּבֵא כִּי מִקְדַּשׁ־מֶלֶךְ הוּא וּבֵית מַמְלָכָה הוּא׃ ס |
| 7:14 Entonces respondió Amós, y dijo a Amasías: No soy profeta, ni soy hijo de profeta, sino que soy boyero, y recojo higos silvestres. |
Then answered Amos, and said to Amaziah, I was no prophet, neither was I a prophet's son; but I was an herdman, and a gatherer of sycomore fruit: |
וַיַּעַן עָמֹוס וַיֹּאמֶר אֶל־אֲמַצְיָה לֹא־נָבִיא אָנֹכִי וְלֹא בֶן־נָבִיא אָנֹכִי כִּי־בֹוקֵר אָנֹכִי וּבֹולֵס שִׁקְמִים׃ |
| 7:15 Y Jehová me tomó de detrás del ganado, y me dijo: Ve y profetiza a mi pueblo Israel. |
And the LORD took me as I followed the flock, and the LORD said unto me, Go, prophesy unto my people Israel. |
וַיִּקָּחֵנִי יְהוָה מֵאַחֲרֵי הַצֹּאן וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלַי יְהוָה לֵךְ הִנָּבֵא אֶל־עַמִּי יִשְׂרָאֵל׃ |
| 7:16 Ahora, pues, oye palabra de Jehová. Tú dices: No profetices contra Israel, ni hables contra la casa de Isaac. |
Now therefore hear thou the word of the LORD: Thou sayest, Prophesy not against Israel, and drop not thy word against the house of Isaac. |
וְעַתָּה שְׁמַע דְּבַר־יְהוָה אַתָּה אֹמֵר לֹא תִנָּבֵא עַל־יִשְׂרָאֵל וְלֹא תַטִּיף עַל־בֵּית יִשְׂחָק׃ |
| 7:17 Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová: Tu mujer será ramera en medio de la ciudad, y tus hijos y tus hijas caerán a espada, y tu tierra será repartida por suertes; y tú morirás en tierra inmunda, e Israel será llevado cautivo lejos de su tierra. |
Therefore thus saith the LORD; Thy wife shall be an harlot in the city, and thy sons and thy daughters shall fall by the sword, and thy land shall be divided by line; and thou shalt die in a polluted land: and Israel shall surely go into captivity forth of his land. |
לָכֵן כֹּה־אָמַר יְהוָה אִשְׁתְּךָ בָּעִיר תִּזְנֶה וּבָנֶיךָ וּבְנֹתֶיךָ בַּחֶרֶב יִפֹּלוּ וְאַדְמָתְךָ בַּחֶבֶל תְּחֻלָּק וְאַתָּה עַל־אֲדָמָה טְמֵאָה תָּמוּת וְיִשְׂרָאֵל גָּלֹה יִגְלֶה מֵעַל אַדְמָתֹו׃ ס |
| 8:1 Así me ha mostrado Jehová el Señor: He aquí un canastillo de fruta de verano. |
Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me: and behold a basket of summer fruit. |
כֹּה הִרְאַנִי אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה וְהִנֵּה כְּלוּב קָיִץ׃ |
| 8:2 Y dijo: ¿Qué ves, Amós? Y respondí: Un canastillo de fruta de verano. Y me dijo Jehová: Ha venido el fin sobre mi pueblo Israel; no lo toleraré más. |
And he said, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. Then said the LORD unto me, The end is come upon my people of Israel; I will not again pass by them any more. |
וַיֹּאמֶר מָה־אַתָּה רֹאֶה עָמֹוס וָאֹמַר כְּלוּב קָיִץ וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֵלַי בָּא הַקֵּץ אֶל־עַמִּי יִשְׂרָאֵל לֹא־אֹוסִיף עֹוד עֲבֹור לֹו׃ |
| 8:3 Y los cantores del templo gemirán en aquel día, dice Jehová el Señor; muchos serán los cuerpos muertos; en todo lugar los echarán fuera en silencio. |
And the songs of the temple shall be howlings in that day, saith the Lord GOD: there shall be many dead bodies in every place; they shall cast them forth with silence. |
וְהֵילִילוּ שִׁירֹות הֵיכָל בַּיֹּום הַהוּא נְאֻם אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה רַב הַפֶּגֶר בְּכָל־מָקֹום הִשְׁלִיךְ הָס׃ פ |
| 8:4 Oíd esto, los que explotáis a los menesterosos, y arruináis a los pobres de la tierra, |
Hear this, O ye that swallow up the needy, even to make the poor of the land to fail, |
שִׁמְעוּ־זֹאת הַשֹּׁאֲפִים אֶבְיֹון וְלַשְׁבִּית [עַנְוֵי־ כ] (עֲנִיֵּי־אָרֶץ׃ ק) |
| 8:5 diciendo: ¿Cuándo pasará el mes, y venderemos el trigo; y la semana, y abriremos los graneros del pan, y achicaremos la medida, y subiremos el precio, y falsearemos con engaño la balanza, |
Saying, When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell corn? and the sabbath, that we may set forth wheat, making the ephah small, and the shekel great, and falsifying the balances by deceit? |
לֵאמֹר מָתַי יַעֲבֹר הַחֹדֶשׁ וְנַשְׁבִּירָה שֶּׁבֶר וְהַשַּׁבָּת וְנִפְתְּחָה־בָּר לְהַקְטִין אֵיפָה וּלְהַגְדִּיל שֶׁקֶל וּלְעַוֵּת מֹאזְנֵי מִרְמָה׃ |
| 8:6 para comprar los pobres por dinero, y los necesitados por un par de zapatos, y venderemos los desechos del trigo? |
That we may buy the poor for silver, and the needy for a pair of shoes; yea, and sell the refuse of the wheat? |
לִקְנֹות בַּכֶּסֶף דַּלִּים וְאֶבְיֹון בַּעֲבוּר נַעֲלָיִם וּמַפַּל בַּר נַשְׁבִּיר׃ |
| 8:7 Jehová juró por la gloria de Jacob: No me olvidaré jamás de todas sus obras. |
The LORD hath sworn by the excellency of Jacob, Surely I will never forget any of their works. |
נִשְׁבַּע יְהוָה בִּגְאֹון יַעֲקֹב אִם־אֶשְׁכַּח לָנֶצַח כָּל־מַעֲשֵׂיהֶם׃ |
| 8:8 ¿No se estremecerá la tierra sobre esto? ¿No llorará todo habitante de ella? Subirá toda, como un río, y crecerá y mermará como el río de Egipto. |
Shall not the land tremble for this, and every one mourn that dwelleth therein? and it shall rise up wholly as a flood; and it shall be cast out and drowned, as by the flood of Egypt. |
הַעַל זֹאת לֹא־תִרְגַּז הָאָרֶץ וְאָבַל כָּל־יֹושֵׁב בָּהּ וְעָלְתָה כָאֹר כֻּלָּהּ וְנִגְרְשָׁה [וְנִשְׁקָה כ] (וְנִשְׁקְעָה ק) כִּיאֹור מִצְרָיִם׃ ס |
| 8:9 Acontecerá en aquel día, dice Jehová el Señor, que haré que se ponga el sol a mediodía, y cubriré de tinieblas la tierra en el día claro. |
And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord GOD, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day: |
וְהָיָה בַּיֹּום הַהוּא נְאֻם אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה וְהֵבֵאתִי הַשֶּׁמֶשׁ בַּצָּהֳרָיִם וְהַחֲשַׁכְתִּי לָאָרֶץ בְּיֹום אֹור׃ |
| 8:10 Y cambiaré vuestras fiestas en lloro, y todos vuestros cantares en lamentaciones; y haré poner cilicio sobre todo lomo, y que se rape toda cabeza; y la volveré como en llanto de unigénito, y su postrimería como día amargo. |
And I will turn your feasts into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation; and I will bring up sackcloth upon all loins, and baldness upon every head; and I will make it as the mourning of an only son, and the end thereof as a bitter day. |
וְהָפַכְתִּי חַגֵּיכֶם לְאֵבֶל וְכָל־שִׁירֵיכֶם לְקִינָה וְהַעֲלֵיתִי עַל־כָּל־מָתְנַיִם שָׂק וְעַל־כָּל־רֹאשׁ קָרְחָה וְשַׂמְתִּיהָ כְּאֵבֶל יָחִיד וְאַחֲרִיתָהּ כְּיֹום מָר׃ |
| 8:11 He aquí vienen días, dice Jehová el Señor, en los cuales enviaré hambre a la tierra, no hambre de pan, ni sed de agua, sino de oír la palabra de Jehová. |
Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD: |
הִנֵּה יָמִים בָּאִים נְאֻם אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה וְהִשְׁלַחְתִּי רָעָב בָּאָרֶץ לֹא־רָעָב לַלֶּחֶם וְלֹא־צָמָא לַמַּיִם כִּי אִם־לִשְׁמֹעַ אֵת דִּבְרֵי יְהוָה׃ |
| 8:12 E irán errantes de mar a mar; desde el norte hasta el oriente discurrirán buscando palabra de Jehová, y no la hallarán. |
And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it. |
וְנָעוּ מִיָּם עַד־יָם וּמִצָּפֹון וְעַד־מִזְרָח יְשֹׁוטְטוּ לְבַקֵּשׁ אֶת־דְּבַר־יְהוָה וְלֹא יִמְצָאוּ׃ |
| 8:13 En aquel tiempo las doncellas hermosas y los jóvenes desmayarán de sed. |
In that day shall the fair virgins and young men faint for thirst. |
בַּיֹּום הַהוּא תִּתְעַלַּפְנָה הַבְּתוּלֹת הַיָּפֹות וְהַבַּחוּרִים בַּצָּמָא׃ |
| 8:14 Los que juran por el pecado de Samaria, y dicen: Por tu Dios, oh Dan, y: Por el camino de Beerseba, caerán, y nunca más se levantarán. |
They that swear by the sin of Samaria, and say, Thy god, O Dan, liveth; and, The manner of Beersheba liveth; even they shall fall, and never rise up again. |
הַנִּשְׁבָּעִים בְּאַשְׁמַת שֹׁמְרֹון וְאָמְרוּ חֵי אֱלֹהֶיךָ דָּן וְחֵי דֶּרֶךְ בְּאֵר־שָׁבַע וְנָפְלוּ וְלֹא־יָקוּמוּ עֹוד׃ ס |
| 9:1 Vi al Señor que estaba sobre el altar, y dijo: Derriba el capitel, y estremézcanse las puertas, y hazlos pedazos sobre la cabeza de todos; y al postrero de ellos mataré a espada; no habrá de ellos quien huya, ni quien escape. |
I saw the Lord standing upon the altar: and he said, Smite the lintel of the door, that the posts may shake: and cut them in the head, all of them; and I will slay the last of them with the sword: he that fleeth of them shall not flee away, and he that escapeth of them shall not be delivered. |
רָאִיתִי אֶת־אֲדֹנָי נִצָּב עַל־הַמִּזְבֵּחַ וַיֹּאמֶר הַךְ הַכַּפְתֹּור וְיִרְעֲשׁוּ הַסִּפִּים וּבְצַעַם בְּרֹאשׁ כֻּלָּם וְאַחֲרִיתָם בַּחֶרֶב אֶהֱרֹג לֹא־יָנוּס לָהֶם נָס וְלֹא־יִמָּלֵט לָהֶם פָּלִיט׃ |
| 9:2 Aunque cavasen hasta el Seol, de allá los tomará mi mano; y aunque subieren hasta el cielo, de allá los haré descender. |
Though they dig into hell, thence shall mine hand take them; though they climb up to heaven, thence will I bring them down: |
אִם־יַחְתְּרוּ בִשְׁאֹול מִשָּׁם יָדִי תִקָּחֵם וְאִם־יַעֲלוּ הַשָּׁמַיִם מִשָּׁם אֹורִידֵם׃ |
| 9:3 Si se escondieren en la cumbre del Carmelo, allí los buscaré y los tomaré; y aunque se escondieren de delante de mis ojos en lo profundo del mar, allí mandaré a la serpiente y los morderá. |
And though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out thence; and though they be hid from my sight in the bottom of the sea, thence will I command the serpent, and he shall bite them: |
וְאִם־יֵחָבְאוּ בְּרֹאשׁ הַכַּרְמֶל מִשָּׁם אֲחַפֵּשׂ וּלְקַחְתִּים וְאִם־יִסָּתְרוּ מִנֶּגֶד עֵינַי בְּקַרְקַע הַיָּם מִשָּׁם אֲצַוֶּה אֶת־הַנָּחָשׁ וּנְשָׁכָם׃ |
| 9:4 Y si fueren en cautiverio delante de sus enemigos, allí mandaré la espada, y los matará; y pondré sobre ellos mis ojos para mal, y no para bien. |
And though they go into captivity before their enemies, thence will I command the sword, and it shall slay them: and I will set mine eyes upon them for evil, and not for good. |
וְאִם־יֵלְכוּ בַשְּׁבִי לִפְנֵי אֹיבֵיהֶם מִשָּׁם אֲצַוֶּה אֶת־הַחֶרֶב וַהֲרָגָתַם וְשַׂמְתִּי עֵינִי עֲלֵיהֶם לְרָעָה וְלֹא לְטֹובָה׃ |
| 9:5 El Señor, Jehová de los ejércitos, es el que toca la tierra, y se derretirá, y llorarán todos los que en ella moran; y crecerá toda como un río, y mermará luego como el río de Egipto. |
And the Lord GOD of hosts is he that toucheth the land, and it shall melt, and all that dwell therein shall mourn: and it shall rise up wholly like a flood; and shall be drowned, as by the flood of Egypt. |
וַאדֹנָי יְהוִה הַצְּבָאֹות הַנֹּוגֵעַ בָּאָרֶץ וַתָּמֹוג וְאָבְלוּ כָּל־יֹושְׁבֵי בָהּ וְעָלְתָה כַיְאֹר כֻּלָּהּ וְשָׁקְעָה כִּיאֹר מִצְרָיִם׃ |
| 9:6 El edificó en el cielo sus cámaras, y ha establecido su expansión sobre la tierra; él llama las aguas del mar, y sobre la faz de la tierra las derrama; Jehová es su nombre. |
It is he that buildeth his stories in the heaven, and hath founded his troop in the earth; he that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name. |
הַבֹּונֶה בַשָּׁמַיִם [מַעֲלֹותֹו כ] (מַעֲלֹותָיו ק) וַאֲגֻדָּתֹו עַל־אֶרֶץ יְסָדָהּ הַקֹּרֵא לְמֵי־הַיָּם וַיִּשְׁפְּכֵם עַל־פְּנֵי הָאָרֶץ יְהוָה שְׁמֹו׃ |
| 9:7 Hijos de Israel, ¿no me sois vosotros como hijos de etíopes, dice Jehová? ¿No hice yo subir a Israel de la tierra de Egipto, y a los filisteos de Caftor, y de Kir a los arameos? |
Are ye not as children of the Ethiopians unto me, O children of Israel? saith the LORD. Have not I brought up Israel out of the land of Egypt? and the Philistines from Caphtor, and the Syrians from Kir? |
הֲלֹוא כִבְנֵי כֻשִׁיִּים אַתֶּם לִי בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל נְאֻם־יְהוָה הֲלֹוא אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵל הֶעֱלֵיתִי מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם וּפְלִשְׁתִּיִּים מִכַּפְתֹּור וַאֲרָם מִקִּיר׃ |
| 9:8 He aquí los ojos de Jehová el Señor están contra el reino pecador, y yo lo asolaré de la faz de la tierra; mas no destruiré del todo la casa de Jacob, dice Jehová. |
Behold, the eyes of the Lord GOD are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth; saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, saith the LORD. |
הִנֵּה עֵינֵי אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה בַּמַּמְלָכָה הַחַטָּאָה וְהִשְׁמַדְתִּי אֹתָהּ מֵעַל פְּנֵי הָאֲדָמָה אֶפֶס כִּי לֹא הַשְׁמֵיד אַשְׁמִיד אֶת־בֵּית יַעֲקֹב נְאֻם־יְהוָה׃ |
| 9:9 Porque he aquí yo mandaré y haré que la casa de Israel sea zarandeada entre todas las naciones, como se zarandea el grano en una criba, y no cae un granito en la tierra. |
For, lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth. |
כִּי־הִנֵּה אָנֹכִי מְצַוֶּה וַהֲנִעֹותִי בְכָל־הַגֹּויִם אֶת־בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל כַּאֲשֶׁר יִנֹּועַ בַּכְּבָרָה וְלֹא־יִפֹּול צְרֹור אָרֶץ׃ |
| 9:10 A espada morirán todos los pecadores de mi pueblo, que dicen: No se acercará, ni nos alcanzará el mal. |
All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, which say, The evil shall not overtake nor prevent us. |
בַּחֶרֶב יָמוּתוּ כֹּל חַטָּאֵי עַמִּי הָאֹמְרִים לֹא־תַגִּישׁ וְתַקְדִּים בַּעֲדֵינוּ הָרָעָה׃ |
| 9:11 En aquel día yo levantaré el tabernáculo caído de David, y cerraré sus portillos y levantaré sus ruinas, y lo edificaré como en el tiempo pasado; |
In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old: |
בַּיֹּום הַהוּא אָקִים אֶת־סֻכַּת דָּוִיד הַנֹּפֶלֶת וְגָדַרְתִּי אֶת־פִּרְצֵיהֶן וַהֲרִסֹתָיו אָקִים וּבְנִיתִיהָ כִּימֵי עֹולָם׃ |
| 9:12 para que aquellos sobre los cuales es invocado mi nombre posean el resto de Edom, y a todas las naciones, dice Jehová que hace esto. |
That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen, which are called by my name, saith the LORD that doeth this. |
לְמַעַן יִירְשׁוּ אֶת־שְׁאֵרִית אֱדֹום וְכָל־הַגֹּויִם אֲשֶׁר־נִקְרָא שְׁמִי עֲלֵיהֶם נְאֻם־יְהוָה עֹשֶׂה זֹּאת׃ פ |
| 9:13 He aquí vienen días, dice Jehová, en que el que ara alcanzará al segador, y el pisador de las uvas al que lleve la simiente; y los montes destilarán mosto, y todos los collados se derretirán. |
Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt. |
הִנֵּה יָמִים בָּאִים נְאֻם־יְהוָה וְנִגַּשׁ חֹורֵשׁ בַּקֹּצֵר וְדֹרֵךְ עֲנָבִים בְּמֹשֵׁךְ הַזָּרַע וְהִטִּיפוּ הֶהָרִים עָסִיס וְכָל־הַגְּבָעֹות תִּתְמֹוגַגְנָה׃ |
| 9:14 Y traeré del cautiverio a mi pueblo Israel, y edificarán ellos las ciudades asoladas, y las habitarán; plantarán viñas, y beberán el vino de ellas, y harán huertos, y comerán el fruto de ellos. |
And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them. |
וְשַׁבְתִּי אֶת־שְׁבוּת עַמִּי יִשְׂרָאֵל וּבָנוּ עָרִים נְשַׁמֹּות וְיָשָׁבוּ וְנָטְעוּ כְרָמִים וְשָׁתוּ אֶת־יֵינָם וְעָשׂוּ גַנֹּות וְאָכְלוּ אֶת־פְּרִיהֶם׃ |
| 9:15 Pues los plantaré sobre su tierra, y nunca más serán arrancados de su tierra que yo les di, ha dicho Jehová Dios tuyo. |
And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the LORD thy God. |
וּנְטַעְתִּים עַל־אַדְמָתָם וְלֹא יִנָּתְשׁוּ עֹוד מֵעַל אַדְמָתָם אֲשֶׁר נָתַתִּי לָהֶם אָמַר יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ׃ |
