Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying, |
וּבִשְׁנַת אַחַת לְכֹורֶשׁ מֶלֶךְ פָּרַס לִכְלֹות דְּבַר־יְהוָה מִפִּי יִרְמְיָה הֵעִיר יְהוָה אֶת־רוּחַ כֹּרֶשׁ מֶלֶךְ־פָּרַס וַיַּעֲבֶר־קֹול בְּכָל־מַלְכוּתֹו וְגַם־בְּמִכְתָּב לֵאמֹר׃ |
| 1:2 Así ha dicho Ciro rey de Persia: Jehová el Dios de los cielos me ha dado todos los reinos de la tierra, y me ha mandado que le edifique casa en Jerusalén, que está en Judá. |
Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, The LORD God of heaven hath given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and he hath charged me to build him an house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah. |
כֹּה אָמַר כֹּרֶשׁ מֶלֶךְ פָּרַס כֹּל מַמְלְכֹות הָאָרֶץ נָתַן לִי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי הַשָּׁמָיִם וְהוּא־פָקַד עָלַי לִבְנֹות־לֹו בַיִת בִּירוּשָׁלִַם אֲשֶׁר בִּיהוּדָה׃ |
| 1:3 Quien haya entre vosotros de su pueblo, sea Dios con él, y suba a Jerusalén que está en Judá, y edifique la casa a Jehová Dios de Israel (él es el Dios), la cual está en Jerusalén. |
Who is there among you of all his people? his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build the house of the LORD God of Israel, (he is the God,) which is in Jerusalem. |
מִי־בָכֶם מִכָּל־עַמֹּו יְהִי אֱלֹהָיו עִמֹּו וְיַעַל לִירוּשָׁלִַם אֲשֶׁר בִּיהוּדָה וְיִבֶן אֶת־בֵּית יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל הוּא הָאֱלֹהִים אֲשֶׁר בִּירוּשָׁלִָם׃ |
| 1:4 Y a todo el que haya quedado, en cualquier lugar donde more, ayúdenle los hombres de su lugar con plata, oro, bienes y ganados, además de ofrendas voluntarias para la casa de Dios, la cual está en Jerusalén. |
And whosoever remaineth in any place where he sojourneth, let the men of his place help him with silver, and with gold, and with goods, and with beasts, beside the freewill offering for the house of God that is in Jerusalem. |
וְכָל־הַנִּשְׁאָר מִכָּל־הַמְּקֹמֹות אֲשֶׁר הוּא גָר־שָׁם יְנַשְּׂאוּהוּ אַנְשֵׁי מְקֹמֹו בְּכֶסֶף וּבְזָהָב וּבִרְכוּשׁ וּבִבְהֵמָה עִם־הַנְּדָבָה לְבֵית הָאֱלֹהִים אֲשֶׁר בִּירוּשָׁלִָם׃ |
| 1:5 Entonces se levantaron los jefes de las casas paternas de Judá y de Benjamín, y los sacerdotes y levitas, todos aquellos cuyo espíritu despertó Dios para subir a edificar la casa de Jehová, la cual está en Jerusalén. |
Then rose up the chief of the fathers of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests, and the Levites, with all them whose spirit God had raised, to go up to build the house of the LORD which is in Jerusalem. |
וַיָּקוּמוּ רָאשֵׁי הָאָבֹות לִיהוּדָה וּבִנְיָמִן וְהַכֹּהֲנִים וְהַלְוִיִּם לְכֹל הֵעִיר הָאֱלֹהִים אֶת־רוּחֹו לַעֲלֹות לִבְנֹות אֶת־בֵּית יְהוָה אֲשֶׁר בִּירוּשָׁלִָם׃ |
| 1:6 Y todos los que estaban en sus alrededores les ayudaron con plata y oro, con bienes y ganado, y con cosas preciosas, además de todo lo que se ofreció voluntariamente. |
And all they that were about them strengthened their hands with vessels of silver, with gold, with goods, and with beasts, and with precious things, beside all that was willingly offered. |
וְכָל־סְבִיבֹתֵיהֶם חִזְּקוּ בִידֵיהֶם בִּכְלֵי־כֶסֶף בַּזָּהָב בָּרְכוּשׁ וּבַבְּהֵמָה וּבַמִּגְדָּנֹות לְבַד עַל־כָּל־הִתְנַדֵּב׃ ס |
| 1:7 Y el rey Ciro sacó los utensilios de la casa de Jehová, que Nabucodonosor había sacado de Jerusalén, y los había puesto en la casa de sus dioses. |
Also Cyrus the king brought forth the vessels of the house of the LORD, which Nebuchadnezzar had brought forth out of Jerusalem, and had put them in the house of his gods; |
וְהַמֶּלֶךְ כֹּורֶשׁ הֹוצִיא אֶת־כְּלֵי בֵית־יְהוָה אֲשֶׁר הֹוצִיא נְבוּכַדְנֶצַּר מִירוּשָׁלִַם וַיִּתְּנֵם בְּבֵית אֱלֹהָיו׃ |
| 1:8 Los sacó, pues, Ciro rey de Persia, por mano de Mitrídates tesorero, el cual los dio por cuenta a Sesbasar príncipe de Judá. |
Even those did Cyrus king of Persia bring forth by the hand of Mithredath the treasurer, and numbered them unto Sheshbazzar, the prince of Judah. |
וַיֹּוצִיאֵם כֹּורֶשׁ מֶלֶךְ פָּרַס עַל־יַד מִתְרְדָת הַגִּזְבָּר וַיִּסְפְּרֵם לְשֵׁשְׁבַּצַּר הַנָּשִׂיא לִיהוּדָה׃ |
| 1:9 Y esta es la cuenta de ellos: treinta tazones de oro, mil tazones de plata, veintinueve cuchillos, |
And this is the number of them: thirty chargers of gold, a thousand chargers of silver, nine and twenty knives, |
וְאֵלֶּה מִסְפָּרָם אֲגַרְטְלֵי זָהָב שְׁלֹשִׁים אֲגַרְטְלֵי־כֶסֶף אָלֶף מַחֲלָפִים תִּשְׁעָה וְעֶשְׂרִים׃ ס |
| 1:10 treinta tazas de oro, otras cuatrocientas diez tazas de plata, y otros mil utensilios. |
Thirty basons of gold, silver basons of a second sort four hundred and ten, and other vessels a thousand. |
כְּפֹורֵי זָהָב שְׁלֹשִׁים כְּפֹורֵי כֶסֶף מִשְׁנִים אַרְבַּע מֵאֹות וַעֲשָׂרָה כֵּלִים אֲחֵרִים אָלֶף׃ ס |
| 1:11 Todos los utensilios de oro y de plata eran cinco mil cuatrocientos. Todos los hizo llevar Sesbasar con los que subieron del cautiverio de Babilonia a Jerusalén. |
All the vessels of gold and of silver were five thousand and four hundred. All these did Sheshbazzar bring up with them of the captivity that were brought up from Babylon unto Jerusalem. |
כָּל־כֵּלִים לַזָּהָב וְלַכֶּסֶף חֲמֵשֶׁת אֲלָפִים וְאַרְבַּע מֵאֹות הַכֹּל הֶעֱלָה שֵׁשְׁבַּצַּר עִם הֵעָלֹות הַגֹּולָה מִבָּבֶל לִירוּשָׁלִָם׃ פ |
| 2:1 Estos son los hijos de la provincia que subieron del cautiverio, de aquellos que Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia había llevado cautivos a Babilonia, y que volvieron a Jerusalén y a Judá, cada uno a su ciudad; |
Now these are the children of the province that went up out of the captivity, of those which had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away unto Babylon, and came again unto Jerusalem and Judah, every one unto his city; |
וְאֵלֶּה ׀ בְּנֵי הַמְּדִינָה הָעֹלִים מִשְּׁבִי הַגֹּולָה אֲשֶׁר הֶגְלָה [נְבוּכַדְנֶצֹּור כ] (נְבוּכַדְנֶצַּר ק) מֶלֶךְ־בָּבֶל לְבָבֶל וַיָּשׁוּבוּ לִירוּשָׁלִַם וִיהוּדָה אִישׁ לְעִירֹו׃ |

| 2:59 Estos fueron los que subieron de Tel-mela, Tel-harsa, Querub, Addán e Imer que no pudieron demostrar la casa de sus padres, ni su linaje, si eran de Israel: |
And these were they which went up from Telmelah, Telharsa, Cherub, Addan, and Immer: but they could not shew their father's house, and their seed, whether they were of Israel: |
וְאֵלֶּה הָעֹלִים מִתֵּל מֶלַח תֵּל חַרְשָׁא כְּרוּב אַדָּן אִמֵּר וְלֹא יָכְלוּ לְהַגִּיד בֵּית־אֲבֹותָם וְזַרְעָם אִם מִיִּשְׂרָאֵל הֵם׃ |

The children of Delaiah, the children of Tobiah, the children of Nekoda, six hundred fifty and two. |

And of the children of the priests: the children of Habaiah, the children of Koz, the children of Barzillai; which took a wife of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and was called after their name: |
וּמִבְּנֵי הַכֹּהֲנִים בְּנֵי חֳבַיָּה בְּנֵי הַקֹּוץ בְּנֵי בַרְזִלַּי אֲשֶׁר לָקַח מִבְּנֹות בַּרְזִלַּי הַגִּלְעָדִי אִשָּׁה וַיִּקָּרֵא עַל־שְׁמָם׃ |
| 2:62 Estos buscaron su registro de genealogías, y no fue hallado; y fueron excluidos del sacerdocio, |
These sought their register among those that were reckoned by genealogy, but they were not found: therefore were they, as polluted, put from the priesthood. |
אֵלֶּה בִּקְשׁוּ כְתָבָם הַמִּתְיַחְשִׂים וְלֹא נִמְצָאוּ וַיְגֹאֲלוּ מִן־הַכְּהֻנָּה׃ |
| 2:63 y el gobernador les dijo que no comiesen de las cosas más santas, hasta que hubiese sacerdote para consultar con Urim y Tumim. |
And the Tirshatha said unto them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, till there stood up a priest with Urim and with Thummim. |
וַיֹּאמֶר הַתִּרְשָׁתָא לָהֶם אֲשֶׁר לֹא־יֹאכְלוּ מִקֹּדֶשׁ הַקֳּדָשִׁים עַד עֲמֹד כֹּהֵן לְאוּרִים וּלְתֻמִּים׃ |
| 2:64 Toda la congregación, unida como un solo hombre, era de cuarenta y dos mil trescientos sesenta, |
The whole congregation together was forty and two thousand three hundred and threescore, |
כָּל־הַקָּהָל כְּאֶחָד אַרְבַּע רִבֹּוא אַלְפַּיִם שְׁלֹשׁ־מֵאֹות שִׁשִּׁים׃ |
| 2:65 sin contar sus siervos y siervas, los cuales eran siete mil trescientos treinta y siete; y tenían doscientos cantores y cantoras. |
Beside their servants and their maids, of whom there were seven thousand three hundred thirty and seven: and there were among them two hundred singing men and singing women. |
מִלְּבַד עַבְדֵיהֶם וְאַמְהֹתֵיהֶם אֵלֶּה שִׁבְעַת אֲלָפִים שְׁלֹשׁ מֵאֹות שְׁלֹשִׁים וְשִׁבְעָה וְלָהֶם מְשֹׁרְרִים וּמְשֹׁרְרֹות מָאתָיִם׃ |
| 2:66 Sus caballos eran setecientos treinta y seis; sus mulas, doscientas cuarenta y cinco; |
Their horses were seven hundred thirty and six; their mules, two hundred forty and five; |
סוּסֵיהֶם שְׁבַע מֵאֹות שְׁלֹשִׁים וְשִׁשָּׁה פִּרְדֵיהֶם מָאתַיִם אַרְבָּעִים וַחֲמִשָּׁה׃ |
| 2:67 sus camellos, cuatrocientos treinta y cinco; asnos, seis mil setecientos veinte. |
Their camels, four hundred thirty and five; their asses, six thousand seven hundred and twenty. |
גְּמַלֵּיהֶם אַרְבַּע מֵאֹות שְׁלֹשִׁים וַחֲמִשָּׁה חֲמֹרִים שֵׁשֶׁת אֲלָפִים שְׁבַע מֵאֹות וְעֶשְׂרִים׃ פ |
| 2:68 Y algunos de los jefes de casas paternas, cuando vinieron a la casa de Jehová que estaba en Jerusalén, hicieron ofrendas voluntarias para la casa de Dios, para reedificarla en su sitio. |
And some of the chief of the fathers, when they came to the house of the LORD which is at Jerusalem, offered freely for the house of God to set it up in his place: |
וּמֵרָאשֵׁי הָאָבֹות בְּבֹואָם לְבֵית יְהוָה אֲשֶׁר בִּירוּשָׁלִָם הִתְנַדְּבוּ לְבֵית הָאֱלֹהִים לְהַעֲמִידֹו עַל־מְכֹונֹו׃ |
| 2:69 Según sus fuerzas dieron al tesorero de la obra sesenta y un mil dracmas de oro, cinco mil libras de plata, y cien túnicas sacerdotales. |
They gave after their ability unto the treasure of the work threescore and one thousand drams of gold, and five thousand pound of silver, and one hundred priests' garments. |
כְּכֹחָם נָתְנוּ לְאֹוצַר הַמְּלָאכָה זָהָב דַּרְכְּמֹונִים שֵׁשׁ־רִבֹּאות וָאֶלֶף ס וְכֶסֶף מָנִים חֲמֵשֶׁת אֲלָפִים וְכָתְנֹת כֹּהֲנִים מֵאָה׃ ס |
| 2:70 Y habitaron los sacerdotes, los levitas, los del pueblo, los cantores, los porteros y los sirvientes del templo en sus ciudades; y todo Israel en sus ciudades. |
So the priests, and the Levites, and some of the people, and the singers, and the porters, and the Nethinims, dwelt in their cities, and all Israel in their cities. |
וַיֵּשְׁבוּ הַכֹּהֲנִים וְהַלְוִיִּם וּמִן־הָעָם וְהַמְשֹׁרְרִים וְהַשֹּׁועֲרִים וְהַנְּתִינִים בְּעָרֵיהֶם וְכָל־יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּעָרֵיהֶם׃ ס |
| 3:1 Cuando llegó el mes séptimo, y estando los hijos de Israel ya establecidos en las ciudades, se juntó el pueblo como un solo hombre en Jerusalén. |
And when the seventh month was come, and the children of Israel were in the cities, the people gathered themselves together as one man to Jerusalem. |
וַיִּגַּע הַחֹדֶשׁ הַשְּׁבִיעִי וּבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל בֶּעָרִים ס וַיֵּאָסְפוּ הָעָם כְּאִישׁ אֶחָד אֶל־יְרוּשָׁלִָם׃ ס |
| 3:2 Entonces se levantaron Jesúa hijo de Josadac y sus hermanos los sacerdotes, y Zorobabel hijo de Salatiel y sus hermanos, y edificaron el altar del Dios de Israel, para ofrecer sobre él holocaustos, como está escrito en la ley de Moisés varón de Dios. |
Then stood up Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and his brethren the priests, and Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and his brethren, and builded the altar of the God of Israel, to offer burnt offerings thereon, as it is written in the law of Moses the man of God. |
וַיָּקָם יֵשׁוּעַ בֶּן־יֹוצָדָק וְאֶחָיו הַכֹּהֲנִים וּזְרֻבָּבֶל בֶּן־שְׁאַלְתִּיאֵל וְאֶחָיו וַיִּבְנוּ אֶת־מִזְבַּח אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לְהַעֲלֹות עָלָיו עֹלֹות כַּכָּתוּב בְּתֹורַת מֹשֶׁה אִישׁ־הָאֱלֹהִים׃ |
| 3:3 Y colocaron el altar sobre su base, porque tenían miedo de los pueblos de las tierras, y ofrecieron sobre él holocaustos a Jehová, holocaustos por la mañana y por la tarde. |
And they set the altar upon his bases; for fear was upon them because of the people of those countries: and they offered burnt offerings thereon unto the LORD, even burnt offerings morning and evening. |
וַיָּכִינוּ הַמִּזְבֵּחַ עַל־מְכֹונֹתָיו כִּי בְּאֵימָה עֲלֵיהֶם מֵעַמֵּי הָאֲרָצֹות [וַיַּעַל כ] (וַיַּעֲלוּ ק) עָלָיו עֹלֹות לַיהוָה עֹלֹות לַבֹּקֶר וְלָעָרֶב׃ |
| 3:4 Celebraron asimismo la fiesta solemne de los tabernáculos, como está escrito, y holocaustos cada día por orden conforme al rito, cada cosa en su día; |
They kept also the feast of tabernacles, as it is written, and offered the daily burnt offerings by number, according to the custom, as the duty of every day required; |
וַיַּעֲשׂוּ אֶת־חַג הַסֻּכֹּות כַּכָּתוּב וְעֹלַת יֹום בְּיֹום בְּמִסְפָּר כְּמִשְׁפַּט דְּבַר־יֹום בְּיֹומֹו׃ |
| 3:5 además de esto, el holocausto continuo, las nuevas lunas, y todas las fiestas solemnes de Jehová, y todo sacrificio espontáneo, toda ofrenda voluntaria a Jehová. |
And afterward offered the continual burnt offering, both of the new moons, and of all the set feasts of the LORD that were consecrated, and of every one that willingly offered a freewill offering unto the LORD. |
וְאַחֲרֵיכֵן עֹלַת תָּמִיד וְלֶחֳדָשִׁים וּלְכָל־מֹועֲדֵי יְהוָה הַמְקֻדָּשִׁים וּלְכֹל מִתְנַדֵּב נְדָבָה לַיהוָה׃ |
| 3:6 Desde el primer día del mes séptimo comenzaron a ofrecer holocaustos a Jehová; pero los cimientos del templo de Jehová no se habían echado todavía. |
From the first day of the seventh month began they to offer burnt offerings unto the LORD. But the foundation of the temple of the LORD was not yet laid. |
מִיֹּום אֶחָד לַחֹדֶשׁ הַשְּׁבִיעִי הֵחֵלּוּ לְהַעֲלֹות עֹלֹות לַיהוָה וְהֵיכַל יְהוָה לֹא יֻסָּד׃ |
| 3:7 Y dieron dinero a los albañiles y carpinteros; asimismo comida, bebida y aceite a los sidonios y tirios para que trajesen madera de cedro desde el Líbano por mar a Jope, conforme a la voluntad de Ciro rey de Persia acerca de esto. |
They gave money also unto the masons, and to the carpenters; and meat, and drink, and oil, unto them of Zidon, and to them of Tyre, to bring cedar trees from Lebanon to the sea of Joppa, according to the grant that they had of Cyrus king of Persia. |
וַיִּתְּנוּ־כֶסֶף לַחֹצְבִים וְלֶחָרָשִׁים וּמַאֲכָל וּמִשְׁתֶּה וָשֶׁמֶן לַצִּדֹנִים וְלַצֹּרִים לְהָבִיא עֲצֵי אֲרָזִים מִן־הַלְּבָנֹון אֶל־יָם יָפֹוא כְּרִשְׁיֹון כֹּורֶשׁ מֶלֶךְ־פָּרַס עֲלֵיהֶם׃ פ |
| 3:8 En el año segundo de su venida a la casa de Dios en Jerusalén, en el mes segundo, comenzaron Zorobabel hijo de Salatiel, Jesúa hijo de Josadac y los otros sus hermanos, los sacerdotes y los levitas, y todos los que habían venido de la cautividad a Jerusalén; y pusieron a los levitas de veinte años arriba para que activasen la obra de la casa de Jehová. |
Now in the second year of their coming unto the house of God at Jerusalem, in the second month, began Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and the remnant of their brethren the priests and the Levites, and all they that were come out of the captivity unto Jerusalem; and appointed the Levites, from twenty years old and upward, to set forward the work of the house of the LORD. |
וּבַשָּׁנָה הַשֵּׁנִית לְבֹואָם אֶל־בֵּית הָאֱלֹהִים לִירוּשָׁלִַם בַּחֹדֶשׁ הַשֵּׁנִי הֵחֵלּוּ זְרֻבָּבֶל בֶּןשְׁ־אַלְתִּיאֵל וְיֵשׁוּעַ בֶּן־יֹוצָדָק וּשְׁאָר אֲחֵיהֶם ׀ הַכֹּהֲנִים וְהַלְוִיִּם וְכָל־הַבָּאִים מֵהַשְּׁבִי יְרוּשָׁלִַם וַיַּעֲמִידוּ אֶת־הַלְוִיִּם מִבֶּן עֶשְׂרִים שָׁנָה וָמַעְלָה לְנַצֵּחַ עַל־מְלֶאכֶת בֵּית־יְהוָה׃ פ |
| 3:9 Jesúa también, sus hijos y sus hermanos, Cadmiel y sus hijos, hijos de Judá, como un solo hombre asistían para activar a los que hacían la obra en la casa de Dios, junto con los hijos de Henadad, sus hijos y sus hermanos, levitas. |
Then stood Jeshua with his sons and his brethren, Kadmiel and his sons, the sons of Judah, together, to set forward the workmen in the house of God: the sons of Henadad, with their sons and their brethren the Levites. |
וַיַּעֲמֹד יֵשׁוּעַ בָּנָיו וְאֶחָיו קַדְמִיאֵל וּבָנָיו בְּנֵי־יְהוּדָה כְּאֶחָד לְנַצֵּחַ עַל־עֹשֵׂה הַמְּלָאכָה בְּבֵית הָאֱלֹהִים ס בְּנֵי חֵנָדָד בְּנֵיהֶם וַאֲחֵיהֶם הַלְוִיִּם׃ |
| 3:10 Y cuando los albañiles del templo de Jehová echaban los cimientos, pusieron a los sacerdotes vestidos de sus ropas y con trompetas, y a los levitas hijos de Asaf con címbalos, para que alabasen a Jehová, según la ordenanza de David rey de Israel. |
And when the builders laid the foundation of the temple of the LORD, they set the priests in their apparel with trumpets, and the Levites the sons of Asaph with cymbals, to praise the LORD, after the ordinance of David king of Israel. |
וְיִסְּדוּ הַבֹּנִים אֶת־הֵיכַל יְהוָה וַיַּעֲמִידוּ הַכֹּהֲנִים מְלֻבָּשִׁים בַּחֲצֹצְרֹות וְהַלְוִיִּם בְּנֵי־אָסָף בַּמְצִלְתַּיִם לְהַלֵּל אֶת־יְהוָה עַל־יְדֵי דָּוִיד מֶלֶךְ־יִשְׂרָאֵל׃ |
| 3:11 Y cantaban, alabando y dando gracias a Jehová, y diciendo: Porque él es bueno, porque para siempre es su misericordia sobre Israel. Y todo el pueblo aclamaba con gran júbilo, alabando a Jehová porque se echaban los cimientos de la casa de Jehová. |
And they sang together by course in praising and giving thanks unto the LORD; because he is good, for his mercy endureth for ever toward Israel. And all the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the LORD, because the foundation of the house of the LORD was laid. |
וַיַּעֲנוּ בְּהַלֵּל וּבְהֹודֹת לַיהוָה כִּי טֹוב כִּי־לְעֹולָם חַסְדֹּו עַל־יִשְׂרָאֵל וְכָל־הָעָם הֵרִיעוּ תְרוּעָה גְדֹולָה בְהַלֵּל לַיהוָה עַל הוּסַד בֵּית־יְהוָה׃ ס |
| 3:12 Y muchos de los sacerdotes, de los levitas y de los jefes de casas paternas, ancianos que habían visto la casa primera, viendo echar los cimientos de esta casa, lloraban en alta voz, mientras muchos otros daban grandes gritos de alegría. |
But many of the priests and Levites and chief of the fathers, who were ancient men, that had seen the first house, when the foundation of this house was laid before their eyes, wept with a loud voice; and many shouted aloud for joy: |
וְרַבִּים מֵהַכֹּהֲנִים וְהַלְוִיִּם וְרָאשֵׁי הָאָבֹות הַזְּקֵנִים אֲשֶׁר רָאוּ אֶת־הַבַּיִת הָרִאשֹׁון בְּיָסְדֹו זֶה הַבַּיִת בְּעֵינֵיהֶם בֹּכִים בְּקֹול גָּדֹול וְרַבִּים בִּתְרוּעָה בְשִׂמְחָה לְהָרִים קֹול׃ |
| 3:13 Y no podía distinguir el pueblo el clamor de los gritos de alegría, de la voz del lloro; porque clamaba el pueblo con gran júbilo, y se oía el ruido hasta de lejos. |
So that the people could not discern the noise of the shout of joy from the noise of the weeping of the people: for the people shouted with a loud shout, and the noise was heard afar off. |
וְאֵין הָעָם מַכִּירִים קֹול תְּרוּעַת הַשִּׂמְחָה לְקֹול בְּכִי הָעָם כִּי הָעָם מְרִיעִים תְּרוּעָה גְדֹולָה וְהַקֹּול נִשְׁמַע עַד־לְמֵרָחֹוק׃ פ |
| 4:1 Oyendo los enemigos de Judá y de Benjamín que los venidos de la cautividad edificaban el templo de Jehová Dios de Israel, |
Now when the adversaries of Judah and Benjamin heard that the children of the captivity builded the temple unto the LORD God of Israel; |
וַיִּשְׁמְעוּ צָרֵי יְהוּדָה וּבִנְיָמִן כִּי־בְנֵי הַגֹּולָה בֹּונִים הֵיכָל לַיהוָה אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל׃ |
| 4:2 vinieron a Zorobabel y a los jefes de casas paternas, y les dijeron: Edificaremos con vosotros, porque como vosotros buscamos a vuestro Dios, y a él ofrecemos sacrificios desde los días de Esar-hadón rey de Asiria, que nos hizo venir aquí. |
Then they came to Zerubbabel, and to the chief of the fathers, and said unto them, Let us build with you: for we seek your God, as ye do; and we do sacrifice unto him since the days of Esarhaddon king of Assur, which brought us up hither. |
וַיִּגְּשׁוּ אֶל־זְרֻבָּבֶל וְאֶל־רָאשֵׁי הָאָבֹות וַיֹּאמְרוּ לָהֶם נִבְנֶה עִמָּכֶם כִּי כָכֶם נִדְרֹושׁ לֵאלֹהֵיכֶם [וְלֹא כ] (וְלֹו ׀ ק) אֲנַחְנוּ זֹבְחִים מִימֵי אֵסַר חַדֹּן מֶלֶךְ אַשּׁוּר הַמַּעֲלֶה אֹתָנוּ פֹּה׃ |
| 4:3 Zorobabel, Jesúa, y los demás jefes de casas paternas de Israel dijeron: No nos conviene edificar con vosotros casa a nuestro Dios, sino que nosotros solos la edificaremos a Jehová Dios de Israel, como nos mandó el rey Ciro, rey de Persia. |
But Zerubbabel, and Jeshua, and the rest of the chief of the fathers of Israel, said unto them, Ye have nothing to do with us to build an house unto our God; but we ourselves together will build unto the LORD God of Israel, as king Cyrus the king of Persia hath commanded us. |
וַיֹּאמֶר לָהֶם זְרֻבָּבֶל וְיֵשׁוּעַ וּשְׁאָר רָאשֵׁי הָאָבֹות לְיִשְׂרָאֵל לֹא־לָכֶם וָלָנוּ לִבְנֹות בַּיִת לֵאלֹהֵינוּ כִּי אֲנַחְנוּ יַחַד נִבְנֶה לַיהוָה אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּנוּ הַמֶּלֶךְ כֹּורֶשׁ מֶלֶךְ־פָּרָס׃ |
| 4:4 Pero el pueblo de la tierra intimidó al pueblo de Judá, y lo atemorizó para que no edificara. |
Then the people of the land weakened the hands of the people of Judah, and troubled them in building, |
וַיְהִי עַם־הָאָרֶץ מְרַפִּים יְדֵי עַם־יְהוּדָה [וּמְבַלַהִים כ] (וּמְבַהֲלִים ק) אֹותָם לִבְנֹות׃ |
| 4:5 Sobornaron además contra ellos a los consejeros para frustrar sus propósitos, todo el tiempo de Ciro rey de Persia y hasta el reinado de Darío rey de Persia. |
And hired counsellers against them, to frustrate their purpose, all the days of Cyrus king of Persia, even until the reign of Darius king of Persia. |
וְסֹכְרִים עֲלֵיהֶם יֹועֲצִים לְהָפֵר עֲצָתָם כָּל־יְמֵי כֹּורֶשׁ מֶלֶךְ פָּרַס וְעַד־מַלְכוּת דָּרְיָוֶשׁ מֶלֶךְ־פָּרָס׃ |
| 4:6 Y en el reinado de Asuero, en el principio de su reinado, escribieron acusaciones contra los habitantes de Judá y de Jerusalén. |
And in the reign of Ahasuerus, in the beginning of his reign, wrote they unto him an accusation against the inhabitants of Judah and Jerusalem. |
וּבְמַלְכוּת אֲחַשְׁוֵרֹושׁ בִּתְחִלַּת מַלְכוּתֹו כָּתְבוּ שִׂטְנָה עַל־יֹשְׁבֵי יְהוּדָה וִירוּשָׁלִָם׃ ס |
| 4:7 También en días de Artajerjes escribieron Bislam, Mitrídates, Tabeel y los demás compañeros suyos, a Artajerjes rey de Persia; y la escritura y el lenguaje de la carta eran en arameo. |
And in the days of Artaxerxes wrote Bishlam, Mithredath, Tabeel, and the rest of their companions, unto Artaxerxes king of Persia; and the writing of the letter was written in the Syrian tongue, and interpreted in the Syrian tongue. |
וּבִימֵי אַרְתַּחְשַׁשְׂתָּא כָּתַב בִּשְׁלָם מִתְרְדָת טָבְאֵל וּשְׁאָר [כְּנָוֹתֹו כ] (כְּנָוֹתָיו ק) עַל־ [אַרְתַּחְשַׁשְׂתָּא כ] (אַרְתַּחְשַׁשְׂתְּ ק) מֶלֶךְ פָּרָס וּכְתָב הַנִּשְׁתְּוָן כָּתוּב אֲרָמִית וּמְתֻרְגָּם אֲרָמִית׃ פ |
| 4:8 Rehum canciller y Simsai secretario escribieron una carta contra Jerusalén al rey Artajerjes. |
Rehum the chancellor and Shimshai the scribe wrote a letter against Jerusalem to Artaxerxes the king in this sort: |
רְחוּם בְּעֵל־טְעֵם וְשִׁמְשַׁי סָפְרָא כְּתַבוּ אִגְּרָה חֲדָה עַל־יְרוּשְׁלֶם לְאַרְתַּחְשַׁשְׂתְּא מַלְכָּא כְּנֵמָא׃ |
| 4:9 En tal fecha escribieron Rehum canciller y Simsai secretario, y los demás compañeros suyos los jueces, gobernadores y oficiales, y los de Persia, de Erec, de Babilonia, de Susa, esto es, los elamitas, |
Then wrote Rehum the chancellor, and Shimshai the scribe, and the rest of their companions; the Dinaites, the Apharsathchites, the Tarpelites, the Apharsites, the Archevites, the Babylonians, the Susanchites, the Dehavites, and the Elamites, |
אֱדַיִן רְחוּם בְּעֵל־טְעֵם וְשִׁמְשַׁי סָפְרָא וּשְׁאָר כְּנָוָתְהֹון דִּינָיֵא וַאֲפַרְסַתְכָיֵא טַרְפְּלָיֵא אֲפָרְסָיֵא [אַרְכְּוָי כ] (אַרְכְּוָיֵא ק) בָבְלָיֵא שׁוּשַׁנְכָיֵא [דִּהוּא כ] (דֶּהָיֵא ק) עֵלְמָיֵא׃ |
| 4:10 y los demás pueblos que el grande y glorioso Asnapar transportó e hizo habitar en las ciudades de Samaria y las demás provincias del otro lado del río. |
And the rest of the nations whom the great and noble Asnappar brought over, and set in the cities of Samaria, and the rest that are on this side the river, and at such a time. |
וּשְׁאָר אֻמַּיָּא דִּי הַגְלִי אָסְנַפַּר רַבָּא וְיַקִּירָא וְהֹותֵב הִמֹּו בְּקִרְיָה דִּי שָׁמְרָיִן וּשְׁאָר עֲבַר־נַהֲרָה וּכְעֶנֶת׃ |
| 4:11 Y esta es la copia de la carta que enviaron: Al rey Artajerjes: Tus siervos del otro lado del río te saludan. |
This is the copy of the letter that they sent unto him, even unto Artaxerxes the king; Thy servants the men on this side the river, and at such a time. |
דְּנָה פַּרְשֶׁגֶן אִגַּרְתָּא דִּי שְׁלַחוּ עֲלֹוהִי עַל־אַרְתַּחְשַׁשְׂתְּא מַלְכָּא [עַבְדָיִךְ כ] (עַבְדָךְ ק) אֱנָשׁ עֲבַר־נַהֲרָה וּכְעֶנֶת׃ פ |
| 4:12 Sea notorio al rey, que los judíos que subieron de ti a nosotros vinieron a Jerusalén; y edifican la ciudad rebelde y mala, y levantan los muros y reparan los fundamentos. |
Be it known unto the king, that the Jews which came up from thee to us are come unto Jerusalem, building the rebellious and the bad city, and have set up the walls thereof, and joined the foundations. |
יְדִיעַ לֶהֱוֵא לְמַלְכָּא דִּי יְהוּדָיֵא דִּי סְלִקוּ מִן־לְוָתָךְ עֲלֶינָא אֲתֹו לִירוּשְׁלֶם קִרְיְתָא מָרָדְתָּא וּבִאישְׁתָּא בָּנַיִן [וְשׁוּרַיָּ כ] (וְשׁוּרַיָּא ק) [אֶשְׁכְלִלוּ כ] (שַׁכְלִלוּ ק) וְאֻשַּׁיָּא יַחִיטוּ׃ |
| 4:13 Ahora sea notorio al rey, que si aquella ciudad fuere reedificada, y los muros fueren levantados, no pagarán tributo, impuesto y rentas, y el erario de los reyes será menoscabado. |
Be it known now unto the king, that, if this city be builded, and the walls set up again, then will they not pay toll, tribute, and custom, and so thou shalt endamage the revenue of the kings. |
כְּעַן יְדִיעַ לֶהֱוֵא לְמַלְכָּא דִּי הֵן קִרְיְתָא דָךְ תִּתְבְּנֵא וְשׁוּרַיָּה יִשְׁתַּכְלְלוּן מִנְדָּה־בְלֹו וַהֲלָךְ לָא יִנְתְּנוּן וְאַפְּתֹם מַלְכִים תְּהַנְזִק׃ |
| 4:14 Siendo que nos mantienen del palacio, no nos es justo ver el menosprecio del rey, por lo cual hemos enviado a hacerlo saber al rey, |
Now because we have maintenance from the king's palace, and it was not meet for us to see the king's dishonour, therefore have we sent and certified the king; |
כְּעַן כָּל־קֳבֵל דִּי־מְלַח הֵיכְלָא מְלַחְנָא וְעַרְוַת מַלְכָּא לָא אֲרִיךְ־לַנָא לְמֶחֱזֵא עַל־דְּנָה שְׁלַחְנָא וְהֹודַעְנָא לְמַלְכָּא׃ |
| 4:15 para que se busque en el libro de las memorias de tus padres. Hallarás en el libro de las memorias, y sabrás que esta ciudad es ciudad rebelde, y perjudicial a los reyes y a las provincias, y que de tiempo antiguo forman en medio de ella rebeliones, por lo que esta ciudad fue destruida. |
That search may be made in the book of the records of thy fathers: so shalt thou find in the book of the records, and know that this city is a rebellious city, and hurtful unto kings and provinces, and that they have moved sedition within the same of old time: for which cause was this city destroyed. |
דִּי יְבַקַּר בִּסְפַר־דָּכְרָנַיָּא דִּי אֲבָהָתָךְ וּתְהַשְׁכַּח בִּסְפַר דָּכְרָנַיָּא וְתִנְדַּע דִּי קִרְיְתָא דָךְ קִרְיָא מָרָדָא וּמְהַנְזְקַת מַלְכִין וּמְדִנָן וְאֶשְׁתַּדּוּר עָבְדִין בְּגַוַּהּ מִן־יֹומָת עָלְמָא עַל־דְּנָה קִרְיְתָא דָךְ הָחָרְבַת׃ |
| 4:16 Hacemos saber al rey que si esta ciudad fuere reedificada, y levantados sus muros, la región de más allá del río no será tuya. |
We certify the king that, if this city be builded again, and the walls thereof set up, by this means thou shalt have no portion on this side the river. |
מְהֹודְעִין אֲנַחְנָה לְמַלְכָּא דִּי הֵן קִרְיְתָא דָךְ תִּתְבְּנֵא וְשׁוּרַיָּה יִשְׁתַּכְלְלוּן לָקֳבֵל דְּנָה חֲלָק בַּעֲבַר נַהֲרָא לָא אִיתַי לָךְ׃ פ |
| 4:17 El rey envió esta respuesta: A Rehum canciller, a Simsai secretario, a los demás compañeros suyos que habitan en Samaria, y a los demás del otro lado del río: Salud y paz. |
Then sent the king an answer unto Rehum the chancellor, and to Shimshai the scribe, and to the rest of their companions that dwell in Samaria, and unto the rest beyond the river, Peace, and at such a time. |
פִּתְגָמָא שְׁלַח מַלְכָּא עַל־רְחוּם בְּעֵל־טְעֵם וְשִׁמְשַׁי סָפְרָא וּשְׁאָר כְּנָוָתְהֹון דִּי יָתְבִין בְּשָׁמְרָיִן וּשְׁאָר עֲבַר־נַהֲרָה שְׁלָם וּכְעֶת׃ ס |
| 4:18 La carta que nos enviasteis fue leída claramente delante de mí. |
The letter which ye sent unto us hath been plainly read before me. |
נִשְׁתְּוָנָא דִּי שְׁלַחְתּוּן עֲלֶינָא מְפָרַשׁ קֱרִי קָדָמָי׃ |
| 4:19 Y por mí fue dada orden y buscaron; y hallaron que aquella ciudad de tiempo antiguo se levanta contra los reyes y se rebela, y se forma en ella sedición; |
And I commanded, and search hath been made, and it is found that this city of old time hath made insurrection against kings, and that rebellion and sedition have been made therein. |
וּמִנִּי שִׂים טְעֵם וּבַקַּרוּ וְהַשְׁכַּחוּ דִּי קִרְיְתָא דָךְ מִן־יֹומָת עָלְמָא עַל־מַלְכִין מִתְנַשְּׂאָה וּמְרַד וְאֶשְׁתַּדּוּר מִתְעֲבֶד־בַּהּ׃ |
| 4:20 y que hubo en Jerusalén reyes fuertes que dominaron en todo lo que hay más allá del río, y que se les pagaba tributo, impuesto y rentas. |
There have been mighty kings also over Jerusalem, which have ruled over all countries beyond the river; and toll, tribute, and custom, was paid unto them. |
וּמַלְכִין תַּקִּיפִין הֲוֹו עַל־יְרוּשְׁלֶם וְשַׁלִּיטִין בְּכֹל עֲבַר נַהֲרָה וּמִדָּה בְלֹו וַהֲלָךְ מִתְיְהֵב לְהֹון׃ |
| 4:21 Ahora, pues, dad orden que cesen aquellos hombres, y no sea esa ciudad reedificada hasta que por mí sea dada nueva orden. |
Give ye now commandment to cause these men to cease, and that this city be not builded, until another commandment shall be given from me. |
כְּעַן שִׂימוּ טְּעֵם לְבַטָּלָא גֻּבְרַיָּא אִלֵּךְ וְקִרְיְתָא דָךְ לָא תִתְבְּנֵא עַד־מִנִּי טַעְמָא יִתְּשָׂם׃ |
| 4:22 Y mirad que no seáis negligentes en esto; ¿por qué habrá de crecer el daño en perjuicio de los reyes? |
Take heed now that ye fail not to do this: why should damage grow to the hurt of the kings? |
וּזְהִירִין הֱוֹו שָׁלוּ לְמֶעְבַּד עַל־דְּנָה לְמָה יִשְׂגֵּא חֲבָלָא לְהַנְזָקַת מַלְכִין׃ ס |
| 4:23 Entonces, cuando la copia de la carta del rey Artajerjes fue leída delante de Rehum, y de Simsai secretario y sus compañeros, fueron apresuradamente a Jerusalén a los judíos, y les hicieron cesar con poder y violencia. |
Now when the copy of king Artaxerxes' letter was read before Rehum, and Shimshai the scribe, and their companions, they went up in haste to Jerusalem unto the Jews, and made them to cease by force and power. |
אֱדַיִן מִן־דִּי פַּרְשֶׁגֶן נִשְׁתְּוָנָא דִּי [אַרְתַּחְשַׁשְׂתָּא כ] (אַרְתַּחְשַׁשְׂתְּ ק) מַלְכָּא קֱרִי קֳדָם־רְחוּם וְשִׁמְשַׁי סָפְרָא וּכְנָוָתְהֹון אֲזַלוּ בִבְהִילוּ לִירוּשְׁלֶם עַל־יְהוּדָיֵא וּבַטִּלוּ הִמֹּו בְּאֶדְרָע וְחָיִל׃ ס |
| 4:24 Entonces cesó la obra de la casa de Dios que estaba en Jerusalén, y quedó suspendida hasta el año segundo del reinado de Darío rey de Persia. |
Then ceased the work of the house of God which is at Jerusalem. So it ceased unto the second year of the reign of Darius king of Persia. |
בֵּאדַיִן בְּטֵלַת עֲבִידַת בֵּית־אֱלָהָא דִּי בִּירוּשְׁלֶם וַהֲוָת בָּטְלָא עַד שְׁנַת תַּרְתֵּין לְמַלְכוּת דָּרְיָוֶשׁ מֶלֶךְ־פָּרָס׃ פ |
| 5:1 Profetizaron Hageo y Zacarías hijo de Iddo, ambos profetas, a los judíos que estaban en Judá y en Jerusalén en el nombre del Dios de Israel quien estaba sobre ellos. |
Then the prophets, Haggai the prophet, and Zechariah the son of Iddo, prophesied unto the Jews that were in Judah and Jerusalem in the name of the God of Israel, even unto them. |
וְהִתְנַבִּי חַגַּי [נְבִיאָה כ] (נְבִיָּא ק) וּזְכַרְיָה בַר־עִדֹּוא [נְבִיאַיָּא כ] (נְבִיַּיָּא ק) עַל־יְהוּדָיֵא דִּי בִיהוּד וּבִירוּשְׁלֶם בְּשֻׁם אֱלָהּ יִשְׂרָאֵל עֲלֵיהֹון׃ ס |
| 5:2 Entonces se levantaron Zorobabel hijo de Salatiel y Jesúa hijo de Josadac, y comenzaron a reedificar la casa de Dios que estaba en Jerusalén; y con ellos los profetas de Dios que les ayudaban. |
Then rose up Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and began to build the house of God which is at Jerusalem: and with them were the prophets of God helping them. |
בֵּאדַיִן קָמוּ זְרֻבָּבֶל בַּר־שְׁאַלְתִּיאֵל וְיֵשׁוּעַ בַּר־יֹוצָדָק וְשָׁרִיו לְמִבְנֵא בֵּית אֱלָהָא דִּי בִירוּשְׁלֶם וְעִמְּהֹון [נְבִיאַיָּא כ] (נְבִיַּיָּא ק) דִי־אֱלָהָא מְסָעֲדִין לְהֹון ׃ פ |
| 5:3 En aquel tiempo vino a ellos Tatnai gobernador del otro lado del río, y Setar-boznai y sus compañeros, y les dijeron así: ¿Quién os ha dado orden para edificar esta casa y levantar estos muros? |
At the same time came to them Tatnai, governor on this side the river, and Shetharboznai, and their companions, and said thus unto them, Who hath commanded you to build this house, and to make up this wall? |
בֵּהּ־זִמְנָא אֲתָא עֲלֵיהֹון תַּתְּנַי פַּחַת עֲבַר־נַהֲרָה וּשְׁתַר בֹּוזְנַי וּכְנָוָתְהֹון וְכֵן אָמְרִין לְהֹם מַן־שָׂם לְכֹם טְעֵם בַּיְתָא דְנָה לִבְּנֵא וְאֻשַּׁרְנָא דְנָה לְשַׁכְלָלָה׃ ס |
| 5:4 Ellos también preguntaron: ¿Cuáles son los nombres de los hombres que hacen este edificio? |
Then said we unto them after this manner, What are the names of the men that make this building? |
אֱדַיִן כְּנֵמָא אֲמַרְנָא לְּהֹם מַן־אִנּוּן שְׁמָהָת גֻּבְרַיָּא דִּי־דְנָה בִנְיָנָא בָּנַיִן׃ |
| 5:5 Mas los ojos de Dios estaban sobre los ancianos de los judíos, y no les hicieron cesar hasta que el asunto fuese llevado a Darío; y entonces respondieron por carta sobre esto. |
But the eye of their God was upon the elders of the Jews, that they could not cause them to cease, till the matter came to Darius: and then they returned answer by letter concerning this matter. |
וְעֵין אֱלָהֲהֹם הֲוָת עַל־שָׂבֵי יְהוּדָיֵא וְלָא־בַטִּלוּ הִמֹּו עַד־טַעְמָא לְדָרְיָוֶשׁ יְהָךְ וֶאֱדַיִן יְתִיבוּן נִשְׁתְּוָנָא עַל־דְּנָה׃ פ |
| 5:6 Copia de la carta que Tatnai gobernador del otro lado del río, y Setar-boznai, y sus compañeros los gobernadores que estaban al otro lado del río, enviaron al rey Darío. |
The copy of the letter that Tatnai, governor on this side the river, and Shetharboznai, and his companions the Apharsachites, which were on this side the river, sent unto Darius the king: |
פַּרְשֶׁגֶן אִגַּרְתָּא דִּי־שְׁלַח תַּתְּנַי ׀ פַּחַת עֲבַר־נַהֲרָה וּשְׁתַר בֹּוזְנַי וּכְנָוָתֵהּ אֲפַרְסְכָיֵא דִּי בַּעֲבַר נַהֲרָה עַל־דָּרְיָוֶשׁ מַלְכָּא׃ |
| 5:7 Le enviaron carta, y así estaba escrito en ella: Al rey Darío toda paz. |
They sent a letter unto him, wherein was written thus; Unto Darius the king, all peace. |
פִּתְגָמָא שְׁלַחוּ עֲלֹוהִי וְכִדְנָה כְּתִיב בְּגַוֵּהּ לְדָרְיָוֶשׁ מַלְכָּא שְׁלָמָא כֹלָּא׃ ס |
| 5:8 Sea notorio al rey, que fuimos a la provincia de Judea, a la casa del gran Dios, la cual se edifica con piedras grandes; y ya los maderos están puestos en las paredes, y la obra se hace de prisa, y prospera en sus manos. |
Be it known unto the king, that we went into the province of Judea, to the house of the great God, which is builded with great stones, and timber is laid in the walls, and this work goeth fast on, and prospereth in their hands. |
יְדִיעַ ׀ לֶהֱוֵא לְמַלְכָּא דִּי־אֲזַלְנָא לִיהוּד מְדִינְתָּא לְבֵית אֱלָהָא רַבָּא וְהוּא מִתְבְּנֵא אֶבֶן גְּלָל וְאָע מִתְּשָׂם בְּכֻתְלַיָּא וַעֲבִידְתָּא דָךְ אָסְפַּרְנָא מִתְעַבְדָא וּמַצְלַח בְּיֶדְהֹם׃ ס |
| 5:9 Entonces preguntamos a los ancianos, diciéndoles así: ¿Quién os dio orden para edificar esta casa y para levantar estos muros? |
Then asked we those elders, and said unto them thus, Who commanded you to build this house, and to make up these walls? |
אֱדַיִן שְׁאֵלְנָא לְשָׂבַיָּא אִלֵּךְ כְּנֵמָא אֲמַרְנָא לְּהֹם מַן־שָׂם לְכֹם טְעֵם בַּיְתָא דְנָה לְמִבְנְיָה וְאֻשַּׁרְנָא דְנָה לְשַׁכְלָלָה׃ |
| 5:10 Y también les preguntamos sus nombres para hacértelo saber, para escribirte los nombres de los hombres que estaban a la cabeza de ellos. |
We asked their names also, to certify thee, that we might write the names of the men that were the chief of them. |
וְאַף שְׁמָהָתְהֹם שְׁאֵלְנָא לְּהֹם לְהֹודָעוּתָךְ דִּי נִכְתֻּב שֻׁם־גֻּבְרַיָּא דִּי בְרָאשֵׁיהֹם׃ ס |
| 5:11 Y nos respondieron diciendo así: Nosotros somos siervos del Dios del cielo y de la tierra, y reedificamos la casa que ya muchos años antes había sido edificada, la cual edificó y terminó el gran rey de Israel. |
And thus they returned us answer, saying, We are the servants of the God of heaven and earth, and build the house that was builded these many years ago, which a great king of Israel builded and set up. |
וּכְנֵמָא פִתְגָמָא הֲתִיבוּנָא לְמֵמַר אֲנַחְנָא הִמֹּו עַבְדֹוהִי דִי־אֱלָהּ שְׁמַיָּא וְאַרְעָא וּבָנַיִן בַּיְתָא דִּי־הֲוָא בְנֵה מִקַּדְמַת דְּנָה שְׁנִין שַׂגִּיאָן וּמֶלֶךְ לְיִשְׂרָאֵל רַב בְּנָהִי וְשַׁכְלְלֵהּ׃ |
| 5:12 Mas después que nuestros padres provocaron a ira al Dios de los cielos, él los entregó en mano de Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia, caldeo, el cual destruyó esta casa y llevó cautivo al pueblo a Babilonia. |
But after that our fathers had provoked the God of heaven unto wrath, he gave them into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, the Chaldean, who destroyed this house, and carried the people away into Babylon. |
לָהֵן מִן־דִּי הַרְגִּזוּ אֲבָהֳתַנָא לֶאֱלָהּ שְׁמַיָּא יְהַב הִמֹּו בְּיַד נְבוּכַדְנֶצַּר מֶלֶךְ־בָּבֶל [כַּסְדָּיָא כ] (כַּסְדָּאָה ק) וּבַיְתָה דְנָה סַתְרֵהּ וְעַמָּה הַגְלִי לְבָבֶל׃ ס |
| 5:13 Pero en el año primero de Ciro rey de Babilonia, el mismo rey Ciro dio orden para que esta casa de Dios fuese reedificada. |
But in the first year of Cyrus the king of Babylon the same king Cyrus made a decree to build this house of God. |
בְּרַם בִּשְׁנַת חֲדָה לְכֹורֶשׁ מַלְכָּא דִּי בָבֶל כֹּורֶשׁ מַלְכָּא שָׂם טְעֵם בֵּית־אֱלָהָא דְנָה לִבְּנֵא׃ |
| 5:14 También los utensilios de oro y de plata de la casa de Dios, que Nabucodonosor había sacado del templo que estaba en Jerusalén y los había llevado al templo de Babilonia, el rey Ciro los sacó del templo de Babilonia, y fueron entregados a Sesbasar, a quien había puesto por gobernador; |
And the vessels also of gold and silver of the house of God, which Nebuchadnezzar took out of the temple that was in Jerusalem, and brought them into the temple of Babylon, those did Cyrus the king take out of the temple of Babylon, and they were delivered unto one, whose name was Sheshbazzar, whom he had made governor; |
וְאַף מָאנַיָּא דִי־בֵית־אֱלָהָא דִּי דַהֲבָה וְכַסְפָּא דִּי נְבוּכַדְנֶצַּר הַנְפֵּק מִן־הֵיכְלָא דִּי בִירוּשְׁלֶם וְהֵיבֵל הִמֹּו לְהֵיכְלָא דִּי בָבֶל הַנְפֵּק הִמֹּו כֹּורֶשׁ מַלְכָּא מִן־הֵיכְלָא דִּי בָבֶל וִיהִיבוּ לְשֵׁשְׁבַּצַּר שְׁמֵהּ דִּי פֶחָה שָׂמֵהּ׃ |
| 5:15 y le dijo: Toma estos utensilios, ve, y llévalos al templo que está en Jerusalén; y sea reedificada la casa de Dios en su lugar. |
And said unto him, Take these vessels, go, carry them into the temple that is in Jerusalem, and let the house of God be builded in his place. |
וַאֲמַר־לֵהּ ׀ [אֵלֶּה כ] (אֵל ק) מָאנַיָּא א אֵזֶל־אֲחֵת הִמֹּו בְּהֵיכְלָא דִּי בִירוּשְׁלֶם וּבֵית אֱלָהָא יִתְבְּנֵא עַל־אַתְרֵהּ׃ ס |
| 5:16 Entonces este Sesbasar vino y puso los cimientos de la casa de Dios, la cual está en Jerusalén, y desde entonces hasta ahora se edifica, y aún no está concluida. |
Then came the same Sheshbazzar, and laid the foundation of the house of God which is in Jerusalem: and since that time even until now hath it been in building, and yet it is not finished. |
אֱדַיִן שֵׁשְׁבַּצַּר דֵּךְ אֲתָא יְהַב אֻשַּׁיָּא דִּי־בֵית אֱלָהָא דִּי בִירוּשְׁלֶם וּמִן־אֱדַיִן וְעַד־כְּעַן מִתְבְּנֵא וְלָא שְׁלִם׃ |
| 5:17 Y ahora, si al rey parece bien, búsquese en la casa de los tesoros del rey que está allí en Babilonia, si es así que por el rey Ciro había sido dada la orden para reedificar esta casa de Dios en Jerusalén, y se nos envíe a decir la voluntad del rey sobre esto. |
Now therefore, if it seem good to the king, let there be search made in the king's treasure house, which is there at Babylon, whether it be so, that a decree was made of Cyrus the king to build this house of God at Jerusalem, and let the king send his pleasure to us concerning this matter. |
וּכְעַן הֵן עַל־מַלְכָּא טָב יִתְבַּקַּר בְּבֵית גִּנְזַיָּא דִּי־מַלְכָּא תַמָּה דִּי בְּבָבֶל הֵן אִיתַי דִּי־מִן־כֹּורֶשׁ מַלְכָּא שִׂים טְעֵם לְמִבְנֵא בֵּית־אֱלָהָא דֵךְ בִּירוּשְׁלֶם וּרְעוּת מַלְכָּא עַל־דְּנָה יִשְׁלַח עֲלֶינָא׃ ס |
| 6:1 Entonces el rey Darío dio la orden de buscar en la casa de los archivos, donde guardaban los tesoros allí en Babilonia. |
Then Darius the king made a decree, and search was made in the house of the rolls, where the treasures were laid up in Babylon. |

| 6:2 Y fue hallado en Acmeta, en el palacio que está en la provincia de Media, un libro en el cual estaba escrito así: Memoria: |
And there was found at Achmetha, in the palace that is in the province of the Medes, a roll, and therein was a record thus written: |
וְהִשְׁתְּכַח בְּאַחְמְתָא בְּבִירְתָא דִּי בְּמָדַי מְדִינְתָּה מְגִלָּה חֲדָה וְכֵן־כְּתִיב בְּגַוַּהּ דִּכְרֹונָה׃ פ |
| 6:3 En el año primero del rey Ciro, el mismo rey Ciro dio orden acerca de la casa de Dios, la cual estaba en Jerusalén, para que fuese la casa reedificada como lugar para ofrecer sacrificios, y que sus paredes fuesen firmes; su altura de sesenta codos, y de sesenta codos su anchura; |
In the first year of Cyrus the king the same Cyrus the king made a decree concerning the house of God at Jerusalem, Let the house be builded, the place where they offered sacrifices, and let the foundations thereof be strongly laid; the height thereof threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof threescore cubits; |
בִּשְׁנַת חֲדָה לְכֹורֶשׁ מַלְכָּא כֹּורֶשׁ מַלְכָּא שָׂם טְעֵם בֵּית־אֱלָהָא בִירוּשְׁלֶם בַּיְתָא יִתְבְּנֵא אֲתַר דִּי־דָבְחִין דִּבְחִין וְאֻשֹּׁוהִי מְסֹובְלִין רוּמֵהּ אַמִּין שִׁתִּין פְּתָיֵהּ אַמִּין שִׁתִּין׃ |
| 6:4 y tres hileras de piedras grandes, y una de madera nueva; y que el gasto sea pagado por el tesoro del rey. |
With three rows of great stones, and a row of new timber: and let the expences be given out of the king's house: |
נִדְבָּכִין דִּי־אֶבֶן גְּלָל תְּלָתָא וְנִדְבָּךְ דִּי־אָע חֲדַת וְנִפְקְתָא מִן־בֵּית מַלְכָּא תִּתְיְהִב׃ |
| 6:5 Y también los utensilios de oro y de plata de la casa de Dios, los cuales Nabucodonosor sacó del templo que estaba en Jerusalén y los pasó a Babilonia, sean devueltos y vayan a su lugar, al templo que está en Jerusalén, y sean puestos en la casa de Dios. |
And also let the golden and silver vessels of the house of God, which Nebuchadnezzar took forth out of the temple which is at Jerusalem, and brought unto Babylon, be restored, and brought again unto the temple which is at Jerusalem, every one to his place, and place them in the house of God. |
וְאַף מָאנֵי בֵית־אֱלָהָא דִּי דַהֲבָה וְכַסְפָּא דִּי נְבוּכַדְנֶצַּר הַנְפֵּק מִן־הֵיכְלָא דִי־בִירוּשְׁלֶם וְהֵיבֵל לְבָבֶל יַהֲתִיבוּן וִיהָךְ לְהֵיכְלָא דִי־בִירוּשְׁלֶם לְאַתְרֵהּ וְתַחֵת בְּבֵית אֱלָהָא׃ ס |
| 6:6 Ahora, pues, Tatnai gobernador del otro lado del río, Setar- boznai, y vuestros compañeros los gobernadores que estáis al otro lado del río, alejaos de allí. |
Now therefore, Tatnai, governor beyond the river, Shetharboznai, and your companions the Apharsachites, which are beyond the river, be ye far from thence: |
כְּעַן תַּתְּנַי פַּחַת עֲבַר־נַהֲרָה שְׁתַר בֹּוזְנַי וּכְנָוָתְהֹון אֲפַרְסְכָיֵא דִּי בַּעֲבַר נַהֲרָה רַחִיקִין הֲוֹו מִן־תַּמָּה׃ |
| 6:7 Dejad que se haga la obra de esa casa de Dios; que el gobernador de los judíos y sus ancianos reedifiquen esa casa de Dios en su lugar. |
Let the work of this house of God alone; let the governor of the Jews and the elders of the Jews build this house of God in his place. |
שְׁבֻקוּ לַעֲבִידַת בֵּית־אֱלָהָא דֵךְ פַּחַת יְהוּדָיֵא וּלְשָׂבֵי יְהוּדָיֵא בֵּית־אֱלָהָא דֵךְ יִבְנֹון עַל־אַתְרֵהּ׃ |
| 6:8 Y por mí es dada orden de lo que habéis de hacer con esos ancianos de los judíos, para reedificar esa casa de Dios; que de la hacienda del rey, que tiene del tributo del otro lado del río, sean dados puntualmente a esos varones los gastos, para que no cese la obra. |
Moreover I make a decree what ye shall do to the elders of these Jews for the building of this house of God: that of the king's goods, even of the tribute beyond the river, forthwith expences be given unto these men, that they be not hindered. |
וּמִנִּי שִׂים טְעֵם לְמָא דִי־תַעַבְדוּן עִם־שָׂבֵי יְהוּדָיֵא אִלֵּךְ לְמִבְנֵא בֵּית־אֱלָהָא דֵךְ וּמִנִּכְסֵי מַלְכָּא דִּי מִדַּת עֲבַר נַהֲרָה אָסְפַּרְנָא נִפְקְתָא תֶּהֱוֵא מִתְיַהֲבָא לְגֻבְרַיָּא אִלֵּךְ דִּי־לָא לְבַטָּלָא׃ |
| 6:9 Y lo que fuere necesario, becerros, carneros y corderos para holocaustos al Dios del cielo, trigo, sal, vino y aceite, conforme a lo que dijeren los sacerdotes que están en Jerusalén, les sea dado día por día sin obstáculo alguno, |
And that which they have need of, both young bullocks, and rams, and lambs, for the burnt offerings of the God of heaven, wheat, salt, wine, and oil, according to the appointment of the priests which are at Jerusalem, let it be given them day by day without fail: |
וּמָה חַשְׁחָן וּבְנֵי תֹורִין וְדִכְרִין וְאִמְּרִין ׀ לַעֲלָוָן ׀ לֶאֱלָהּ שְׁמַיָּא חִנְטִין מְלַח ׀ חֲמַר וּמְשַׁח כְּמֵאמַר כָּהֲנַיָּא דִי־בִירוּשְׁלֶם לֶהֱוֵא מִתְיְהֵב לְהֹם יֹום ׀ בְּיֹום דִּי־לָא שָׁלוּ׃ |
| 6:10 para que ofrezcan sacrificios agradables al Dios del cielo, y oren por la vida del rey y por sus hijos. |
That they may offer sacrifices of sweet savours unto the God of heaven, and pray for the life of the king, and of his sons. |
דִּי־לֶהֱוֹן מְהַקְרְבִין נִיחֹוחִין לֶאֱלָהּ שְׁמַיָּא וּמְצַלַּיִן לְחַיֵּי מַלְכָּא וּבְנֹוהִי׃ |
| 6:11 También por mí es dada orden, que cualquiera que altere este decreto, se le arranque un madero de su casa, y alzado, sea colgado en él, y su casa sea hecha muladar por esto. |
Also I have made a decree, that whosoever shall alter this word, let timber be pulled down from his house, and being set up, let him be hanged thereon; and let his house be made a dunghill for this. |
וּמִנִּי שִׂים טְעֵם דִּי כָל־אֱנָשׁ דִּי יְהַשְׁנֵא פִּתְגָמָא דְנָה יִתְנְסַח אָע מִן־בַּיְתֵהּ וּזְקִיף יִתְמְחֵא עֲלֹהִי וּבַיְתֵהּ נְוָלוּ יִתְעֲבֵד עַל־דְּנָה׃ |
| 6:12 Y el Dios que hizo habitar allí su nombre, destruya a todo rey y pueblo que pusiere su mano para cambiar o destruir esa casa de Dios, la cual está en Jerusalén. Yo Darío he dado el decreto; sea cumplido prontamente. |
And the God that hath caused his name to dwell there destroy all kings and people, that shall put to their hand to alter and to destroy this house of God which is at Jerusalem. I Darius have made a decree; let it be done with speed. |
וֵאלָהָא דִּי שַׁכִּן שְׁמֵהּ תַּמָּה יְמַגַּר כָּל־מֶלֶךְ וְעַם דִּי ׀ יִשְׁלַח יְדֵהּ לְהַשְׁנָיָה לְחַבָּלָה בֵּית־אֱלָהָא דֵךְ דִּי בִירוּשְׁלֶם אֲנָה דָרְיָוֶשׁ שָׂמֶת טְעֵם אָסְפַּרְנָא יִתְעֲבִד׃ פ |
| 6:13 Entonces Tatnai gobernador del otro lado del río, y Setar-boznai y sus compañeros, hicieron puntualmente según el rey Darío había ordenado. |
Then Tatnai, governor on this side the river, Shetharboznai, and their companions, according to that which Darius the king had sent, so they did speedily. |
אֱדַיִן תַּתְּנַי פַּחַת עֲבַר־נַהֲרָה שְׁתַר בֹּוזְנַי וּכְנָוָתְהֹון לָקֳבֵל דִּי־שְׁלַח דָּרְיָוֶשׁ מַלְכָּא כְּנֵמָא אָסְפַּרְנָא עֲבַדוּ׃ |
| 6:14 Y los ancianos de los judíos edificaban y prosperaban, conforme a la profecía del profeta Hageo y de Zacarías hijo de Iddo. Edificaron, pues, y terminaron, por orden del Dios de Israel, y por mandato de Ciro, de Darío, y de Artajerjes rey de Persia. |
And the elders of the Jews builded, and they prospered through the prophesying of Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the son of Iddo. And they builded, and finished it, according to the commandment of the God of Israel, and according to the commandment of Cyrus, and Darius, and Artaxerxes king of Persia. |
וְשָׂבֵי יְהוּדָיֵא בָּנַיִן וּמַצְלְחִין בִּנְבוּאַת חַגַּי [נְבִיאָה כ] (נְבִיָּא ק) וּזְכַרְיָה בַּר־עִדֹּוא וּבְנֹו וְשַׁכְלִלוּ מִן־טַעַם אֱלָהּ יִשְׂרָאֵל וּמִטְּעֵם כֹּורֶשׁ וְדָרְיָוֶשׁ וְאַרְתַּחְשַׁשְׂתְּא מֶלֶךְ פָּרָס׃ |
| 6:15 Esta casa fue terminada el tercer día del mes de Adar, que era el sexto año del reinado del rey Darío. |
And this house was finished on the third day of the month Adar, which was in the sixth year of the reign of Darius the king. |
וְשֵׁיצִיא בַּיְתָה דְנָה עַד יֹום תְּלָתָה לִירַח אֲדָר דִּי־הִיא שְׁנַת־שֵׁת לְמַלְכוּת דָּרְיָוֶשׁ מַלְכָּא׃ פ |
| 6:16 Entonces los hijos de Israel, los sacerdotes, los levitas y los demás que habían venido de la cautividad, hicieron la dedicación de esta casa de Dios con gozo. |
And the children of Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the rest of the children of the captivity, kept the dedication of this house of God with joy, |
וַעֲבַדוּ בְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵל כָּהֲנַיָּא וְלֵוָיֵא וּשְׁאָר בְּנֵי־גָלוּתָא חֲנֻכַּת בֵּית־אֱלָהָא דְנָה בְּחֶדְוָה׃ |
| 6:17 Y ofrecieron en la dedicación de esta casa de Dios cien becerros, doscientos carneros y cuatrocientos corderos; y doce machos cabríos en expiación por todo Israel, conforme al número de las tribus de Israel. |
And offered at the dedication of this house of God an hundred bullocks, two hundred rams, four hundred lambs; and for a sin offering for all Israel, twelve he goats, according to the number of the tribes of Israel. |
וְהַקְרִבוּ לַחֲנֻכַּת בֵּית־אֱלָהָא דְנָה תֹּורִין מְאָה דִּכְרִין מָאתַיִן אִמְּרִין אַרְבַּע מְאָה וּצְפִירֵי עִזִּין [לְחַטָּיָא כ] (לְחַטָּאָה ק) עַל־כָּל־יִשְׂרָאֵל תְּרֵי־עֲשַׂר לְמִנְיָן שִׁבְטֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל׃ |
| 6:18 Y pusieron a los sacerdotes en sus turnos, y a los levitas en sus clases, para el servicio de Dios en Jerusalén, conforme a lo escrito en el libro de Moisés. |
And they set the priests in their divisions, and the Levites in their courses, for the service of God, which is at Jerusalem; as it is written in the book of Moses. |
וַהֲקִימוּ כָהֲנַיָּא בִּפְלֻגָּתְהֹון וְלֵוָיֵא בְּמַחְלְקָתְהֹון עַל־עֲבִידַת אֱלָהָא דִּי בִירוּשְׁלֶם כִּכְתָב סְפַר מֹשֶׁה׃ פ |
| 6:19 También los hijos de la cautividad celebraron la pascua a los catorce días del mes primero. |
And the children of the captivity kept the passover upon the fourteenth day of the first month. |
וַיַּעֲשׂוּ בְנֵי־הַגֹּולָה אֶת־הַפָּסַח בְּאַרְבָּעָה עָשָׂר לַחֹדֶשׁ הָרִאשֹׁון׃ |
| 6:20 Porque los sacerdotes y los levitas se habían purificado a una; todos estaban limpios, y sacrificaron la pascua por todos los hijos de la cautividad, y por sus hermanos los sacerdotes, y por sí mismos. |
For the priests and the Levites were purified together, all of them were pure, and killed the passover for all the children of the captivity, and for their brethren the priests, and for themselves. |
כִּי הִטַּהֲרוּ הַכֹּהֲנִים וְהַלְוִיִּם כְּאֶחָד כֻּלָּם טְהֹורִים וַיִּשְׁחֲטוּ הַפֶּסַח לְכָל־בְּנֵי הַגֹּולָה וְלַאֲחֵיהֶם הַכֹּהֲנִים וְלָהֶם׃ |
| 6:21 Comieron los hijos de Israel que habían vuelto del cautiverio, con todos aquellos que se habían apartado de las inmundicias de las gentes de la tierra para buscar a Jehová Dios de Israel. |
And the children of Israel, which were come again out of captivity, and all such as had separated themselves unto them from the filthiness of the heathen of the land, to seek the LORD God of Israel, did eat, |
וַיֹּאכְלוּ בְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵל הַשָּׁבִים מֵהַגֹּולָה וְכֹל הַנִּבְדָּל מִטֻּמְאַת גֹּויֵ־הָאָרֶץ אֲלֵהֶם לִדְרֹשׁ לַיהוָה אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל׃ |
| 6:22 Y celebraron con regocijo la fiesta solemne de los panes sin levadura siete días, por cuanto Jehová los había alegrado, y había vuelto el corazón del rey de Asiria hacia ellos, para fortalecer sus manos en la obra de la casa de Dios, del Dios de Israel. |
And kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with joy: for the LORD had made them joyful, and turned the heart of the king of Assyria unto them, to strengthen their hands in the work of the house of God, the God of Israel. |
וַיַּעֲשׂוּ חַג־מַצֹּות שִׁבְעַת יָמִים בְּשִׂמְחָה כִּי ׀ שִׂמְּחָם יְהוָה וְהֵסֵב לֵב מֶלֶךְ־אַשּׁוּר עֲלֵיהֶם לְחַזֵּק יְדֵיהֶם בִּמְלֶאכֶת בֵּית־הָאֱלֹהִים אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל׃ פ |
| 7:1 Pasadas estas cosas, en el reinado de Artajerjes rey de Persia, Esdras hijo de Seraías, hijo de Azarías, hijo de Hilcías, |
Now after these things, in the reign of Artaxerxes king of Persia, Ezra the son of Seraiah, the son of Azariah, the son of Hilkiah, |
וְאַחַר הַדְּבָרִים הָאֵלֶּה בְּמַלְכוּת אַרְתַּחְשַׁסְתְּא מֶלֶךְ־פָּרָס עֶזְרָא בֶּן־שְׂרָיָה בֶּן־עֲזַרְיָה בֶּן־חִלְקִיָּה׃ |

The son of Shallum, the son of Zadok, the son of Ahitub, |
בֶּן־שַׁלּוּם בֶּן־צָדֹוק בֶּן־אֲחִיטוּב׃ |

The son of Amariah, the son of Azariah, the son of Meraioth, |
בֶּן־אֲמַרְיָה בֶן־עֲזַרְיָה בֶּן־מְרָיֹות׃ |
| 7:4 hijo de Zeraías, hijo de Uzi, hijo de Buqui, |
The son of Zerahiah, the son of Uzzi, the son of Bukki, |
בֶּן־זְרַחְיָה בֶן־עֻזִּי בֶּן־בֻּקִּי׃ |
| 7:5 hijo de Abisúa, hijo de Finees, hijo de Eleazar, hijo de Aarón, primer sacerdote, |
The son of Abishua, the son of Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the chief priest: |
בֶּן־אֲבִישׁוּעַ בֶּן־פִּינְחָס בֶּן־אֶלְעָזָר בֶּן־אַהֲרֹן הַכֹּהֵן הָרֹאשׁ׃ |
| 7:6 este Esdras subió de Babilonia. Era escriba diligente en la ley de Moisés, que Jehová Dios de Israel había dado; y le concedió el rey todo lo que pidió, porque la mano de Jehová su Dios estaba sobre Esdras. |
This Ezra went up from Babylon; and he was a ready scribe in the law of Moses, which the LORD God of Israel had given: and the king granted him all his request, according to the hand of the LORD his God upon him. |
הוּא עֶזְרָא עָלָה מִבָּבֶל וְהוּא־סֹפֵר מָהִיר בְּתֹורַת מֹשֶׁה אֲשֶׁר־נָתַן יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וַיִּתֶּן־לֹו הַמֶּלֶךְ כְּיַד־יְהוָה אֱלֹהָיו עָלָיו כֹּל בַּקָּשָׁתֹו׃ פ |
| 7:7 Y con él subieron a Jerusalén algunos de los hijos de Israel, y de los sacerdotes, levitas, cantores, porteros y sirvientes del templo, en el séptimo año del rey Artajerjes. |
And there went up some of the children of Israel, and of the priests, and the Levites, and the singers, and the porters, and the Nethinims, unto Jerusalem, in the seventh year of Artaxerxes the king. |
וַיַּעֲלוּ מִבְּנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵל וּמִן־הַכֹּהֲנִים וְהַלְוִיִּם וְהַמְשֹׁרְרִים וְהַשֹּׁעֲרִים וְהַנְּתִינִים אֶל־יְרוּשָׁלִָם בִּשְׁנַת־שֶׁבַע לְאַרְתַּחְשַׁסְתְּא הַמֶּלֶךְ׃ |
| 7:8 Y llegó a Jerusalén en el mes quinto del año séptimo del rey. |
And he came to Jerusalem in the fifth month, which was in the seventh year of the king. |
וַיָּבֹא יְרוּשָׁלִַם בַּחֹדֶשׁ הַחֲמִישִׁי הִיא שְׁנַת הַשְּׁבִיעִית לַמֶּלֶךְ׃ |
| 7:9 Porque el día primero del primer mes fue el principio de la partida de Babilonia, y al primero del mes quinto llegó a Jerusalén, estando con él la buena mano de Dios. |
For upon the first day of the first month began he to go up from Babylon, and on the first day of the fifth month came he to Jerusalem, according to the good hand of his God upon him. |
כִּי בְּאֶחָד לַחֹדֶשׁ הָרִאשֹׁון הוּא יְסֻד הַמַּעֲלָה מִבָּבֶל וּבְאֶחָד לַחֹדֶשׁ הַחֲמִישִׁי בָּא אֶל־יְרוּשָׁלִַם כְּיַד־אֱלֹהָיו הַטֹּובָה עָלָיו׃ |
| 7:10 Porque Esdras había preparado su corazón para inquirir la ley de Jehová y para cumplirla, y para enseñar en Israel sus estatutos y decretos. |
For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the law of the LORD, and to do it, and to teach in Israel statutes and judgments. |
כִּי עֶזְרָא הֵכִין לְבָבֹו לִדְרֹושׁ אֶת־תֹּורַת יְהוָה וְלַעֲשֹׂת וּלְלַמֵּד בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל חֹק וּמִשְׁפָּט׃ ס |
| 7:11 Esta es la copia de la carta que dio el rey Artajerjes al sacerdote Esdras, escriba versado en los mandamientos de Jehová y en sus estatutos a Israel: |
Now this is the copy of the letter that the king Artaxerxes gave unto Ezra the priest, the scribe, even a scribe of the words of the commandments of the LORD, and of his statutes to Israel. |
וְזֶה ׀ פַּרְשֶׁגֶן הַנִּשְׁתְּוָן אֲשֶׁר נָתַן הַמֶּלֶךְ אַרְתַּחְשַׁסְתְּא לְעֶזְרָא הַכֹּהֵן הַסֹּפֵר סֹפֵר דִּבְרֵי מִצְוֹת־יְהוָה וְחֻקָּיו עַל־יִשְׂרָאֵל׃ פ |
| 7:12 Artajerjes rey de reyes, a Esdras, sacerdote y escriba erudito en la ley del Dios del cielo: Paz. |
Artaxerxes, king of kings, unto Ezra the priest, a scribe of the law of the God of heaven, perfect peace, and at such a time. |
אַרְתַּחְשַׁסְתְּא מֶלֶךְ מַלְכַיָּא לְעֶזְרָא כָהֲנָא סָפַר דָּתָא דִּי־אֱלָהּ שְׁמַיָּא גְּמִיר וּכְעֶנֶת׃ |
| 7:13 Por mí es dada orden que todo aquel en mi reino, del pueblo de Israel y de sus sacerdotes y levitas, que quiera ir contigo a Jerusalén, vaya. |
I make a decree, that all they of the people of Israel, and of his priests and Levites, in my realm, which are minded of their own freewill to go up to Jerusalem, go with thee. |
מִנִּי שִׂים טְעֵם דִּי כָל־מִתְנַדַּב בְּמַלְכוּתִי מִן־עַמָּה יִשְׂרָאֵל וְכָהֲנֹוהִי וְלֵוָיֵא לִמְהָךְ לִירוּשְׁלֶם עִמָּךְ יְהָךְ׃ |
| 7:14 Porque de parte del rey y de sus siete consejeros eres enviado a visitar a Judea y a Jerusalén, conforme a la ley de tu Dios que está en tu mano; |
Forasmuch as thou art sent of the king, and of his seven counsellers, to inquire concerning Judah and Jerusalem, according to the law of thy God which is in thine hand; |
כָּל־קֳבֵל דִּי מִן־קֳדָם מַלְכָּא וְשִׁבְעַת יָעֲטֹהִי שְׁלִיחַ לְבַקָּרָא עַל־יְהוּד וְלִירוּשְׁלֶם בְּדָת אֱלָהָךְ דִּי בִידָךְ׃ |
| 7:15 y a llevar la plata y el oro que el rey y sus consejeros voluntariamente ofrecen al Dios de Israel, cuya morada está en Jerusalén, |
And to carry the silver and gold, which the king and his counsellers have freely offered unto the God of Israel, whose habitation is in Jerusalem, |
וּלְהֵיבָלָה כְּסַף וּדְהַב דִּי־מַלְכָּא וְיָעֲטֹוהִי הִתְנַדַּבוּ לֶאֱלָהּ יִשְׂרָאֵל דִּי בִירוּשְׁלֶם מִשְׁכְּנֵהּ׃ |
| 7:16 y toda la plata y el oro que halles en toda la provincia de Babilonia, con las ofrendas voluntarias del pueblo y de los sacerdotes, que voluntariamente ofrecieren para la casa de su Dios, la cual está en Jerusalén. |
And all the silver and gold that thou canst find in all the province of Babylon, with the freewill offering of the people, and of the priests, offering willingly for the house of their God which is in Jerusalem: |
וְכֹל כְּסַף וּדְהַב דִּי תְהַשְׁכַּח בְּכֹל מְדִינַת בָּבֶל עִם הִתְנַדָּבוּת עַמָּא וְכָהֲנַיָּא מִתְנַדְּבִין לְבֵית אֱלָהֲהֹם דִּי בִירוּשְׁלֶם׃ |
| 7:17 Comprarás, pues, diligentemente con este dinero becerros, carneros y corderos, con sus ofrendas y sus libaciones, y los ofrecerás sobre el altar de la casa de vuestro Dios, la cual está en Jerusalén. |
That thou mayest buy speedily with this money bullocks, rams, lambs, with their meat offerings and their drink offerings, and offer them upon the altar of the house of your God which is in Jerusalem. |
כָּל־קֳבֵל דְּנָה אָסְפַּרְנָא תִקְנֵא בְּכַסְפָּא דְנָה תֹּורִין ׀ דִּכְרִין אִמְּרִין וּמִנְחָתְהֹון וְנִסְכֵּיהֹון וּתְקָרֵב הִמֹּו עַל־מַדְבְּחָה דִּי בֵּית אֱלָהֲכֹם דִּי בִירוּשְׁלֶם׃ |
| 7:18 Y lo que a ti y a tus hermanos os parezca hacer de la otra plata y oro, hacedlo conforme a la voluntad de vuestro Dios. |
And whatsoever shall seem good to thee, and to thy brethren, to do with the rest of the silver and the gold, that do after the will of your God. |
וּמָה דִי [עֲלַיִךְ כ] (עֲלָךְ ק) וְעַל־ [אֶחַיִךְ כ] (אֶחָךְ ק) יִיטַב בִּשְׁאָר כַּסְפָּא וְדַהֲבָה לְמֶעְבַּד כִּרְעוּת אֱלָהֲכֹם תַּעַבְדוּן׃ |
| 7:19 Los utensilios que te son entregados para el servicio de la casa de tu Dios, los restituirás delante de Dios en Jerusalén. |
The vessels also that are given thee for the service of the house of thy God, those deliver thou before the God of Jerusalem. |
וּמָאנַיָּא דִּי־מִתְיַהֲבִין לָךְ לְפָלְחָן בֵּית אֱלָהָךְ הַשְׁלֵם קֳדָם אֱלָהּ יְרוּשְׁלֶם׃ |
| 7:20 Y todo lo que se requiere para la casa de tu Dios, que te sea necesario dar, lo darás de la casa de los tesoros del rey. |
And whatsoever more shall be needful for the house of thy God, which thou shalt have occasion to bestow, bestow it out of the king's treasure house. |
וּשְׁאָר חַשְׁחוּת בֵּית אֱלָהָךְ דִּי יִפֶּל־לָךְ לְמִנְתַּן תִּנְתֵּן מִן־בֵּית גִּנְזֵי מַלְכָּא׃ |
| 7:21 Y por mí, Artajerjes rey, es dada orden a todos los tesoreros que están al otro lado del río, que todo lo que os pida el sacerdote Esdras, escriba de la ley del Dios del cielo, se le conceda prontamente, |
And I, even I Artaxerxes the king, do make a decree to all the treasurers which are beyond the river, that whatsoever Ezra the priest, the scribe of the law of the God of heaven, shall require of you, it be done speedily, |
וּמִנִּי אֲנָה אַרְתַּחְשַׁסְתְּא מַלְכָּא שִׂים טְעֵם לְכֹל גִּזַּבְרַיָּא דִּי בַּעֲבַר נַהֲרָה דִּי כָל־דִּי יִשְׁאֲלֶנְכֹון עֶזְרָא כָהֲנָה סָפַר דָּתָא דִּי־אֱלָהּ שְׁמַיָּא אָסְפַּרְנָא יִתְעֲבִד׃ |
| 7:22 hasta cien talentos de plata, cien coros de trigo, cien batos de vino, y cien batos de aceite; y sal sin medida. |
Unto an hundred talents of silver, and to an hundred measures of wheat, and to an hundred baths of wine, and to an hundred baths of oil, and salt without prescribing how much. |
עַד־כְּסַף כַּכְּרִין מְאָה וְעַד־חִנְטִין כֹּרִין מְאָה וְעַד־חֲמַר בַּתִּין מְאָה וְעַד־בַּתִּין מְשַׁח מְאָה וּמְלַח דִּי־לָא כְתָב׃ |
| 7:23 Todo lo que es mandado por el Dios del cielo, sea hecho prontamente para la casa del Dios del cielo; pues, ¿por qué habría de ser su ira contra el reino del rey y de sus hijos? |
Whatsoever is commanded by the God of heaven, let it be diligently done for the house of the God of heaven: for why should there be wrath against the realm of the king and his sons? |
כָּל־דִּי מִן־טַעַם אֱלָהּ שְׁמַיָּא יִתְעֲבֵד אַדְרַזְדָּא לְבֵית אֱלָהּ שְׁמַיָּא דִּי־לְמָה לֶהֱוֵא קְצַף עַל־מַלְכוּת מַלְכָּא וּבְנֹוהִי׃ |
| 7:24 Y a vosotros os hacemos saber que a todos los sacerdotes y levitas, cantores, porteros, sirvientes del templo y ministros de la casa de Dios, ninguno podrá imponerles tributo, contribución ni renta. |
Also we certify you, that touching any of the priests and Levites, singers, porters, Nethinims, or ministers of this house of God, it shall not be lawful to impose toll, tribute, or custom, upon them. |
וּלְכֹם מְהֹודְעִין דִּי כָל־כָּהֲנַיָּא וְלֵוָיֵא זַמָּרַיָּא תָרָעַיָּא נְתִינַיָּא וּפָלְחֵי בֵּית אֱלָהָא דְנָה מִנְדָּה בְלֹו וַהֲלָךְ לָא שַׁלִּיט לְמִרְמֵא עֲלֵיהֹם׃ |
| 7:25 Y tú, Esdras, conforme a la sabiduría que tienes de tu Dios, pon jueces y gobernadores que gobiernen a todo el pueblo que está al otro lado del río, a todos los que conocen las leyes de tu Dios; y al que no las conoce, le enseñarás. |
And thou, Ezra, after the wisdom of thy God, that is in thine hand, set magistrates and judges, which may judge all the people that are beyond the river, all such as know the laws of thy God; and teach ye them that know them not. |
וְאַנְתְּ עֶזְרָא כְּחָכְמַת אֱלָהָךְ דִּי־בִידָךְ מֶנִּי שָׁפְטִין וְדַיָּנִין דִּי־לֶהֱוֹן [דָּאֲנִין כ] (דָּאיְנִין ק) לְכָל־עַמָּה דִּי בַּעֲבַר נַהֲרָה לְכָל־יָדְעֵי דָּתֵי אֱלָהָךְ וְדִי לָא יָדַע תְּהֹודְעוּן׃ |
| 7:26 Y cualquiera que no cumpliere la ley de tu Dios, y la ley del rey, sea juzgado prontamente, sea a muerte, a destierro, a pena de multa, o prisión. |
And whosoever will not do the law of thy God, and the law of the king, let judgment be executed speedily upon him, whether it be unto death, or to banishment, or to confiscation of goods, or to imprisonment. |
וְכָל־דִּי־לָא לֶהֱוֵא עָבֵד דָּתָא דִי־אֱלָהָךְ וְדָתָא דִּי מַלְכָּא אָסְפַּרְנָא דִּינָה לֶהֱוֵא מִתְעֲבֵד מִנֵּהּ הֵן לְמֹות הֵן [לִשְׁרֹשׁוּ כ] (לִשְׁרֹשִׁי ק) הֵן־לַעֲנָשׁ נִכְסִין וְלֶאֱסוּרִין׃ פ |
| 7:27 Bendito Jehová Dios de nuestros padres, que puso tal cosa en el corazón del rey, para honrar la casa de Jehová que está en Jerusalén, |
Blessed be the LORD God of our fathers, which hath put such a thing as this in the king's heart, to beautify the house of the LORD which is in Jerusalem: |
בָּרוּךְ יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי אֲבֹותֵינוּ אֲשֶׁר נָתַן כָּזֹאת בְּלֵב הַמֶּלֶךְ לְפָאֵר אֶת־בֵּית יְהוָה אֲשֶׁר בִּירוּשָׁלִָם׃ |
| 7:28 e inclinó hacia mí su misericordia delante del rey y de sus consejeros, y de todos los príncipes poderosos del rey. Y yo, fortalecido por la mano de mi Dios sobre mí, reuní a los principales de Israel para que subiesen conmigo. |
And hath extended mercy unto me before the king, and his counsellers, and before all the king's mighty princes. And I was strengthened as the hand of the LORD my God was upon me, and I gathered together out of Israel chief men to go up with me. |
וְעָלַי הִטָּה־חֶסֶד לִפְנֵי הַמֶּלֶךְ וְיֹועֲצָיו וּלְכָל־שָׂרֵי הַמֶּלֶךְ הַגִּבֹּרִים וַאֲנִי הִתְחַזַּקְתִּי כְּיַד־יְהוָה אֱלֹהַי עָלַי וָאֶקְבְּצָה מִיִּשְׂרָאֵל רָאשִׁים לַעֲלֹות עִמִּי׃ פ |

| 8:13 De los hijos de Adonicam, los postreros, cuyos nombres son estos: Elifelet, Jeiel y Semaías, y con ellos sesenta varones. |
And of the last sons of Adonikam, whose names are these, Eliphelet, Jeiel, and Shemaiah, and with them threescore males. |

| 8:15 Los reuní junto al río que viene a Ahava, y acampamos allí tres días; y habiendo buscado entre el pueblo y entre los sacerdotes, no hallé allí de los hijos de Leví. |
And I gathered them together to the river that runneth to Ahava; and there abode we in tents three days: and I viewed the people, and the priests, and found there none of the sons of Levi. |
וָאֶקְבְּצֵם אֶל־הַנָּהָר הַבָּא אֶל־אַהֲוָא וַנַּחֲנֶה שָׁם יָמִים שְׁלֹשָׁה וָאָבִינָה בָעָם וּבַכֹּהֲנִים וּמִבְּנֵי לֵוִי לֹא־מָצָאתִי שָׁם׃ |
| 8:16 Entonces despaché a Eliezer, Ariel, Semaías, Elnatán, Jarib, Elnatán, Natán, Zacarías y Mesulam, hombres principales, asimismo a Joiarib y a Elnatán, hombres doctos; |
Then sent I for Eliezer, for Ariel, for Shemaiah, and for Elnathan, and for Jarib, and for Elnathan, and for Nathan, and for Zechariah, and for Meshullam, chief men; also for Joiarib, and for Elnathan, men of understanding. |
וָאֶשְׁלְחָה לֶאֱלִיעֶזֶר לַאֲרִיאֵל לִשְׁמַעְיָה וּלְאֶלְנָתָן וּלְיָרִיב וּלְאֶלְנָתָן וּלְנָתָן וְלִזְכַרְיָה וְלִמְשֻׁלָּם רָאשִׁים וּלְיֹויָרִיב וּלְאֶלְנָתָן מְבִינִים ׃ |
| 8:17 y los envié a Iddo, jefe en el lugar llamado Casifia, y puse en boca de ellos las palabras que habían de hablar a Iddo, y a sus hermanos los sirvientes del templo en el lugar llamado Casifia, para que nos trajesen ministros para la casa de nuestro Dios. |
And I sent them with commandment unto Iddo the chief at the place Casiphia, and I told them what they should say unto Iddo, and to his brethren the Nethinims, at the place Casiphia, that they should bring unto us ministers for the house of our God. |
[וָאֹוצִאָה כ] (וָאֲצַוֶּה ק) אֹותָם עַל־אִדֹּו הָרֹאשׁ בְּכָסִפְיָא הַמָּקֹום וָאָשִׂימָה בְּפִיהֶם דְּבָרִים לְדַבֵּר אֶל־אִדֹּו אָחִיו [הַנְּתוּנִים כ] (הַנְּתִינִים ק) בְּכָסִפְיָא הַמָּקֹום לְהָבִיא־לָנוּ מְשָׁרְתִים לְבֵית אֱלֹהֵינוּ׃ |
| 8:18 Y nos trajeron según la buena mano de nuestro Dios sobre nosotros, un varón entendido, de los hijos de Mahli hijo de Leví, hijo de Israel; a Serebías con sus hijos y sus hermanos, dieciocho; |
And by the good hand of our God upon us they brought us a man of understanding, of the sons of Mahli, the son of Levi, the son of Israel; and Sherebiah, with his sons and his brethren, eighteen; |
וַיָּבִיאּוּ לָנוּ כְּיַד־אֱלֹהֵינוּ הַטֹּובָה עָלֵינוּ אִישׁ שֶׂכֶל מִבְּנֵי מַחְלִי בֶּן־לֵוִי בֶּן־יִשְׂרָאֵל וְשֵׁרֵבְיָה וּבָנָיו וְאֶחָיו שְׁמֹנָה עָשָׂר׃ |
| 8:19 a Hasabías, y con él a Jesaías de los hijos de Merari, a sus hermanos y a sus hijos, veinte; |
And Hashabiah, and with him Jeshaiah of the sons of Merari, his brethren and their sons, twenty; |
וְאֶת־חֲשַׁבְיָה וְאִתֹּו יְשַׁעְיָה מִבְּנֵי מְרָרִי אֶחָיו וּבְנֵיהֶם עֶשְׂרִים׃ ס |
| 8:20 y de los sirvientes del templo, a quienes David con los príncipes puso para el ministerio de los levitas, doscientos veinte sirvientes del templo, todos los cuales fueron designados por sus nombres. |
Also of the Nethinims, whom David and the princes had appointed for the service of the Levites, two hundred and twenty Nethinims: all of them were expressed by name. |
וּמִן־הַנְּתִינִים שֶׁנָּתַן דָּוִיד וְהַשָּׂרִים לַעֲבֹדַת הַלְוִיִּם נְתִינִים מָאתַיִם וְעֶשְׂרִים כֻּלָּם נִקְּבוּ בְשֵׁמֹות׃ |
| 8:21 Y publiqué ayuno allí junto al río Ahava, para afligirnos delante de nuestro Dios, para solicitar de él camino derecho para nosotros, y para nuestros niños, y para todos nuestros bienes. |
Then I proclaimed a fast there, at the river of Ahava, that we might afflict ourselves before our God, to seek of him a right way for us, and for our little ones, and for all our substance. |
וָאֶקְרָא שָׁם צֹום עַל־הַנָּהָר אַהֲוָא לְהִתְעַנֹּות לִפְנֵי אֱלֹהֵינוּ לְבַקֵּשׁ מִמֶּנּוּ דֶּרֶךְ יְשָׁרָה לָנוּ וּלְטַפֵּנוּ וּלְכָל־רְכוּשֵׁנוּ׃ |
| 8:22 Porque tuve vergüenza de pedir al rey tropa y gente de a caballo que nos defendiesen del enemigo en el camino; porque habíamos hablado al rey, diciendo: La mano de nuestro Dios es para bien sobre todos los que le buscan; mas su poder y su furor contra todos los que le abandonan. |
For I was ashamed to require of the king a band of soldiers and horsemen to help us against the enemy in the way: because we had spoken unto the king, saying, The hand of our God is upon all them for good that seek him; but his power and his wrath is against all them that forsake him. |
כִּי בֹשְׁתִּי לִשְׁאֹול מִן־הַמֶּלֶךְ חַיִל וּפָרָשִׁים לְעָזְרֵנוּ מֵאֹויֵב בַּדָּרֶךְ כִּי־אָמַרְנוּ לַמֶּלֶךְ לֵאמֹר יַד־אֱלֹהֵינוּ עַל־כָּל־מְבַקְשָׁיו לְטֹובָה וְעֻזֹּו וְאַפֹּו עַל כָּל־עֹזְבָיו׃ |
| 8:23 Ayunamos, pues, y pedimos a nuestro Dios sobre esto, y él nos fue propicio. |
So we fasted and besought our God for this: and he was intreated of us. |
וַנָּצוּמָה וַנְּבַקְשָׁה מֵאֱלֹהֵינוּ עַל־זֹאת וַיֵּעָתֵר לָנוּ׃ |
| 8:24 Aparté luego a doce de los principales de los sacerdotes, a Serebías y a Hasabías, y con ellos diez de sus hermanos; |
Then I separated twelve of the chief of the priests, Sherebiah, Hashabiah, and ten of their brethren with them, |
וָאַבְדִּילָה מִשָּׂרֵי הַכֹּהֲנִים שְׁנֵים עָשָׂר לְשֵׁרֵבְיָה חֲשַׁבְיָה וְעִמָּהֶם מֵאֲחֵיהֶם עֲשָׂרָה׃ |
| 8:25 y les pesé la plata, el oro y los utensilios, ofrenda que para la casa de nuestro Dios habían ofrecido el rey y sus consejeros y sus príncipes, y todo Israel allí presente. |
And weighed unto them the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, even the offering of the house of our God, which the king, and his counsellers, and his lords, and all Israel there present, had offered: |
[וָאֶשְׁקֹולָה כ] (וָאֶשְׁקֳלָה ק) לָהֶם אֶת־הַכֶּסֶף וְאֶת־הַזָּהָב וְאֶת־הַכֵּלִים תְּרוּמַת בֵּית־אֱלֹהֵינוּ הַהֵרִימוּ הַמֶּלֶךְ וְיֹעֲצָיו וְשָׂרָיו וְכָל־יִשְׂרָאֵל הַנִּמְצָאִים׃ |
| 8:26 Pesé, pues, en manos de ellos seiscientos cincuenta talentos de plata, y utensilios de plata por cien talentos, y cien talentos de oro; |
I even weighed unto their hand six hundred and fifty talents of silver, and silver vessels an hundred talents, and of gold an hundred talents; |
וָאֶשְׁקֲלָה עַל־יָדָם כֶּסֶף כִּכָּרִים שֵׁשׁ־מֵאֹות וַחֲמִשִּׁים וּכְלֵי־כֶסֶף מֵאָה לְכִכָּרִים זָהָב מֵאָה כִכָּר׃ |
| 8:27 además, veinte tazones de oro de mil dracmas, y dos vasos de bronce bruñido muy bueno, preciados como el oro. |
Also twenty basons of gold, of a thousand drams; and two vessels of fine copper, precious as gold. |
וּכְפֹרֵי זָהָב עֶשְׂרִים לַאֲדַרְכֹנִים אָלֶף וּכְלֵי נְחֹשֶׁת מֻצְהָב טֹובָה שְׁנַיִם חֲמוּדֹת כַּזָּהָב׃ |
| 8:28 Y les dije: Vosotros estáis consagrados a Jehová, y son santos los utensilios, y la plata y el oro, ofrenda voluntaria a Jehová Dios de nuestros padres. |
And I said unto them, Ye are holy unto the LORD; the vessels are holy also; and the silver and the gold are a freewill offering unto the LORD God of your fathers. |
וָאֹמְרָה אֲלֵהֶם אַתֶּם קֹדֶשׁ לַיהוָה וְהַכֵּלִים קֹדֶשׁ וְהַכֶּסֶף וְהַזָּהָב נְדָבָה לַיהוָה אֱלֹהֵי אֲבֹתֵיכֶם׃ |
| 8:29 Vigilad y guardadlos, hasta que los peséis delante de los príncipes de los sacerdotes y levitas, y de los jefes de las casas paternas de Israel en Jerusalén, en los aposentos de la casa de Jehová. |
Watch ye, and keep them, until ye weigh them before the chief of the priests and the Levites, and chief of the fathers of Israel, at Jerusalem, in the chambers of the house of the LORD. |
שִׁקְדוּ וְשִׁמְרוּ עַד־תִּשְׁקְלוּ לִפְנֵי שָׂרֵי הַכֹּהֲנִים וְהַלְוִיִּם וְשָׂרֵי־הָאָבֹות לְיִשְׂרָאֵל בִּירוּשָׁלִָם הַלִּשְׁכֹות בֵּית יְהוָה׃ |
| 8:30 Los sacerdotes y los levitas recibieron el peso de la plata y del oro y de los utensilios, para traerlo a Jerusalén a la casa de nuestro Dios. |
So took the priests and the Levites the weight of the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, to bring them to Jerusalem unto the house of our God. |
וְקִבְּלוּ הַכֹּהֲנִים וְהַלְוִיִּם מִשְׁקַל הַכֶּסֶף וְהַזָּהָב וְהַכֵּלִים לְהָבִיא לִירוּשָׁלִַם לְבֵית אֱלֹהֵינוּ׃ פ |
| 8:31 Y partimos del río Ahava el doce del mes primero, para ir a Jerusalén; y la mano de nuestro Dios estaba sobre nosotros, y nos libró de mano del enemigo y del acechador en el camino. |
Then we departed from the river of Ahava on the twelfth day of the first month, to go unto Jerusalem: and the hand of our God was upon us, and he delivered us from the hand of the enemy, and of such as lay in wait by the way. |
וַנִּסְעָה מִנְּהַר אַהֲוָא בִּשְׁנֵים עָשָׂר לַחֹדֶשׁ הָרִאשֹׁון לָלֶכֶת יְרוּשָׁלִָם וְיַד־אֱלֹהֵינוּ הָיְתָה עָלֵינוּ וַיַּצִּילֵנוּ מִכַּף אֹויֵב וְאֹורֵב עַל־הַדָּרֶךְ׃ |
| 8:32 Y llegamos a Jerusalén, y reposamos allí tres días. |
And we came to Jerusalem, and abode there three days. |
וַנָּבֹוא יְרוּשָׁלִָם וַנֵּשֶׁב שָׁם יָמִים שְׁלֹשָׁה׃ |
| 8:33 Al cuarto día fue luego pesada la plata, el oro y los utensilios, en la casa de nuestro Dios, por mano del sacerdote Meremot hijo de Urías, y con él Eleazar hijo de Finees; y con ellos Jozabad hijo de Jesúa y Noadías hijo de Binúi, levitas. |
Now on the fourth day was the silver and the gold and the vessels weighed in the house of our God by the hand of Meremoth the son of Uriah the priest; and with him was Eleazar the son of Phinehas; and with them was Jozabad the son of Jeshua, and Noadiah the son of Binnui, Levites; |
וּבַיֹּום הָרְבִיעִי נִשְׁקַל הַכֶּסֶף וְהַזָּהָב וְהַכֵּלִים בְּבֵית אֱלֹהֵינוּ עַל יַד־מְרֵמֹות בֶּן־אוּרִיָּה הַכֹּהֵן וְעִמֹּו אֶלְעָזָר בֶּן־פִּינְחָס וְעִמָּהֶם יֹוזָבָד בֶּן־יֵשׁוּעַ וְנֹועַדְיָה בֶן־בִּנּוּי הַלְוִיִּם׃ |
| 8:34 Por cuenta y por peso se entregó todo, y se apuntó todo aquel peso en aquel tiempo. |
By number and by weight of every one: and all the weight was written at that time. |
בְּמִסְפָּר בְּמִשְׁקָל לַכֹּל וַיִּכָּתֵב כָּל־הַמִּשְׁקָל בָּעֵת הַהִיא׃ פ |
| 8:35 Los hijos de la cautividad, los que habían venido del cautiverio, ofrecieron holocaustos al Dios de Israel, doce becerros por todo Israel, noventa y seis carneros, setenta y siete corderos, y doce machos cabríos por expiación, todo en holocausto a Jehová. |
Also the children of those that had been carried away, which were come out of the captivity, offered burnt offerings unto the God of Israel, twelve bullocks for all Israel, ninety and six rams, seventy and seven lambs, twelve he goats for a sin offering: all this was a burnt offering unto the LORD. |
הַבָּאִים מֵהַשְּׁבִי בְנֵי־הַגֹּולָה הִקְרִיבוּ עֹלֹות ׀ לֵאלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל פָּרִים שְׁנֵים־עָשָׂר עַל־כָּל־יִשְׂרָאֵל אֵילִים ׀ תִּשְׁעִים וְשִׁשָּׁה כְּבָשִׂים שִׁבְעִים וְשִׁבְעָה צְפִירֵי חַטָּאת שְׁנֵים עָשָׂר הַכֹּל עֹולָה לַיהוָה׃ פ |
| 8:36 Y entregaron los despachos del rey a sus sátrapas y capitanes del otro lado del río, los cuales ayudaron al pueblo y a la casa de Dios. |
And they delivered the king's commissions unto the king's lieutenants, and to the governors on this side the river: and they furthered the people, and the house of God. |
וַיִּתְּנוּ ׀ אֶת־דָּתֵי הַמֶּלֶךְ לַאֲחַשְׁדַּרְפְּנֵי הַמֶּלֶךְ וּפַחֲוֹות עֵבֶר הַנָּהָר וְנִשְּׂאוּ אֶת־הָעָם וְאֶת־בֵּית־הָאֱלֹהִים׃ ס |
| 9:1 Acabadas estas cosas, los príncipes vinieron a mí, diciendo: El pueblo de Israel y los sacerdotes y levitas no se han separado de los pueblos de las tierras, de los cananeos, heteos, ferezeos, jebuseos, amonitas, moabitas, egipcios y amorreos, y hacen conforme a sus abominaciones. |
Now when these things were done, the princes came to me, saying, The people of Israel, and the priests, and the Levites, have not separated themselves from the people of the lands, doing according to their abominations, even of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites. |
וּכְכַלֹּות אֵלֶּה נִגְּשׁוּ אֵלַי הַשָּׂרִים לֵאמֹר לֹא־נִבְדְּלוּ הָעָם יִשְׂרָאֵל וְהַכֹּהֲנִים וְהַלְוִיִּם מֵעַמֵּי הָאֲרָצֹות כְּתֹועֲבֹתֵיהֶם לַכְּנַעֲנִי הַחִתִּי הַפְּרִזִּי הַיְבוּסִי הָעַמֹּנִי הַמֹּאָבִי הַמִּצְרִי וְהָאֱמֹרִי׃ |
| 9:2 Porque han tomado de las hijas de ellos para sí y para sus hijos, y el linaje santo ha sido mezclado con los pueblos de las tierras; y la mano de los príncipes y de los gobernadores ha sido la primera en cometer este pecado. |
For they have taken of their daughters for themselves, and for their sons: so that the holy seed have mingled themselves with the people of those lands: yea, the hand of the princes and rulers hath been chief in this trespass. |
כִּי־נָשְׂאוּ מִבְּנֹתֵיהֶם לָהֶם וְלִבְנֵיהֶם וְהִתְעָרְבוּ זֶרַע הַקֹּדֶשׁ בְּעַמֵּי הָאֲרָצֹות וְיַד הַשָּׂרִים וְהַסְּגָנִים הָיְתָה בַּמַּעַל הַזֶּה רִאשֹׁונָה׃ ס |
| 9:3 Cuando oí esto, rasgué mi vestido y mi manto, y arranqué pelo de mi cabeza y de mi barba, y me senté angustiado en extremo. |
And when I heard this thing, I rent my garment and my mantle, and plucked off the hair of my head and of my beard, and sat down astonied. |
וּכְשָׁמְעִי אֶת־הַדָּבָר הַזֶּה קָרַעְתִּי אֶת־בִּגְדִי וּמְעִילִי וָאֶמְרְטָה מִשְּׂעַר רֹאשִׁי וּזְקָנִי וָאֵשְׁבָה מְשֹׁומֵם׃ |
| 9:4 Y se me juntaron todos los que temían las palabras del Dios de Israel, a causa de la prevaricación de los del cautiverio; mas yo estuve muy angustiado hasta la hora del sacrificio de la tarde. |
Then were assembled unto me every one that trembled at the words of the God of Israel, because of the transgression of those that had been carried away; and I sat astonied until the evening sacrifice. |
וְאֵלַי יֵאָסְפוּ כֹּל חָרֵד בְּדִבְרֵי אֱלֹהֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵל עַל מַעַל הַגֹּולָה וַאֲנִי יֹשֵׁב מְשֹׁומֵם עַד לְמִנְחַת הָעָרֶב׃ |
| 9:5 Y a la hora del sacrificio de la tarde me levanté de mi aflicción, y habiendo rasgado mi vestido y mi manto, me postré de rodillas, y extendí mis manos a Jehová mi Dios, |
And at the evening sacrifice I arose up from my heaviness; and having rent my garment and my mantle, I fell upon my knees, and spread out my hands unto the LORD my God, |
וּבְמִנְחַת הָעֶרֶב קַמְתִּי מִתַּעֲנִיתִי וּבְקָרְעִי בִגְדִי וּמְעִילִי וָאֶכְרְעָה עַל־בִּרְכַּי וָאֶפְרְשָׂה כַפַּי אֶל־יְהוָה אֱלֹהָי׃ |
| 9:6 y dije: Dios mío, confuso y avergonzado estoy para levantar, oh Dios mío, mi rostro a ti, porque nuestras iniquidades se han multiplicado sobre nuestra cabeza, y nuestros delitos han crecido hasta el cielo. |
And said, O my God, I am ashamed and blush to lift up my face to thee, my God: for our iniquities are increased over our head, and our trespass is grown up unto the heavens. |
וָאֹמְרָה אֱלֹהַי בֹּשְׁתִּי וְנִכְלַמְתִּי לְהָרִים אֱלֹהַי פָּנַי אֵלֶיךָ כִּי עֲוֹנֹתֵינוּ רָבוּ לְמַעְלָה רֹּאשׁ וְאַשְׁמָתֵנוּ גָדְלָה עַד לַשָּׁמָיִם׃ |
| 9:7 Desde los días de nuestros padres hasta este día hemos vivido en gran pecado; y por nuestras iniquidades nosotros, nuestros reyes y nuestros sacerdotes hemos sido entregados en manos de los reyes de las tierras, a espada, a cautiverio, a robo, y a vergüenza que cubre nuestro rostro, como hoy día. |
Since the days of our fathers have we been in a great trespass unto this day; and for our iniquities have we, our kings, and our priests, been delivered into the hand of the kings of the lands, to the sword, to captivity, and to a spoil, and to confusion of face, as it is this day. |
מִימֵי אֲבֹתֵינוּ אֲנַחְנוּ בְּאַשְׁמָה גְדֹלָה עַד הַיֹּום הַזֶּה וּבַעֲוֹנֹתֵינוּ נִתַּנּוּ אֲנַחְנוּ מְלָכֵינוּ כֹהֲנֵינוּ בְּיַד ׀ מַלְכֵי הָאֲרָצֹות בַּחֶרֶב בַּשְּׁבִי וּבַבִּזָּה וּבְבֹשֶׁת פָּנִים כְּהַיֹּום הַזֶּה׃ |
| 9:8 Y ahora por un breve momento ha habido misericordia de parte de Jehová nuestro Dios, para hacer que nos quedase un remanente libre, y para darnos un lugar seguro en su santuario, a fin de alumbrar nuestro Dios nuestros ojos y darnos un poco de vida en nuestra servidumbre. |
And now for a little space grace hath been shewed from the LORD our God, to leave us a remnant to escape, and to give us a nail in his holy place, that our God may lighten our eyes, and give us a little reviving in our bondage. |
וְעַתָּה כִּמְעַט־רֶגַע הָיְתָה תְחִנָּה מֵאֵת ׀ יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ לְהַשְׁאִיר לָנוּ פְּלֵיטָה וְלָתֶת־לָנוּ יָתֵד בִּמְקֹום קָדְשֹׁו לְהָאִיר עֵינֵינוּ אֱלֹהֵינוּ וּלְתִתֵּנוּ מִחְיָה מְעַט בְּעַבְדֻתֵנוּ׃ |
| 9:9 Porque siervos somos; mas en nuestra servidumbre no nos ha desamparado nuestro Dios, sino que inclinó sobre nosotros su misericordia delante de los reyes de Persia, para que se nos diese vida para levantar la casa de nuestro Dios y restaurar sus ruinas, y darnos protección en Judá y en Jerusalén. |
For we were bondmen; yet our God hath not forsaken us in our bondage, but hath extended mercy unto us in the sight of the kings of Persia, to give us a reviving, to set up the house of our God, and to repair the desolations thereof, and to give us a wall in Judah and in Jerusalem. |
כִּי־עֲבָדִים אֲנַחְנוּ וּבְעַבְדֻתֵנוּ לֹא עֲזָבָנוּ אֱלֹהֵינוּ וַיַּט־עָלֵינוּ חֶסֶד לִפְנֵי מַלְכֵי פָרַס לָתֶת־לָנוּ מִחְיָה לְרֹומֵם אֶת־בֵּית אֱלֹהֵינוּ וּלְהַעֲמִיד אֶת־חָרְבֹתָיו וְלָתֶת־לָנוּ גָדֵר בִּיהוּדָה וּבִירוּשָׁלִָם׃ ס |
| 9:10 Pero ahora, ¿qué diremos, oh Dios nuestro, después de esto? Porque nosotros hemos dejado tus mandamientos, |
And now, O our God, what shall we say after this? for we have forsaken thy commandments, |
וְעַתָּה מַה־נֹּאמַר אֱלֹהֵינוּ אַחֲרֵי־זֹאת כִּי עָזַבְנוּ מִצְוֹתֶיךָ׃ |
| 9:11 que prescribiste por medio de tus siervos los profetas, diciendo: La tierra a la cual entráis para poseerla, tierra inmunda es a causa de la inmundicia de los pueblos de aquellas regiones, por las abominaciones de que la han llenado de uno a otro extremo con su inmundicia. |
Which thou hast commanded by thy servants the prophets, saying, The land, unto which ye go to possess it, is an unclean land with the filthiness of the people of the lands, with their abominations, which have filled it from one end to another with their uncleanness. |
אֲשֶׁר צִוִּיתָ בְּיַד עֲבָדֶיךָ הַנְּבִיאִים לֵאמֹר הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר אַתֶּם בָּאִים לְרִשְׁתָּהּ אֶרֶץ נִדָּה הִיא בְּנִדַּת עַמֵּי הָאֲרָצֹות בְּתֹועֲבֹתֵיהֶם אֲשֶׁר מִלְאוּהָ מִפֶּה אֶל־פֶּה בְּטֻמְאָתָם׃ |
| 9:12 Ahora, pues, no daréis vuestras hijas a los hijos de ellos, ni sus hijas tomaréis para vuestros hijos, ni procuraréis jamás su paz ni su prosperidad; para que seáis fuertes y comáis el bien de la tierra, y la dejéis por heredad a vuestros hijos para siempre. |
Now therefore give not your daughters unto their sons, neither take their daughters unto your sons, nor seek their peace or their wealth for ever: that ye may be strong, and eat the good of the land, and leave it for an inheritance to your children for ever. |
וְעַתָּה בְּנֹותֵיכֶם אַל־תִּתְּנוּ לִבְנֵיהֶם וּבְנֹתֵיהֶם אַל־תִּשְׂאוּ לִבְנֵיכֶם וְלֹא־תִדְרְשׁוּ שְׁלֹמָם וְטֹובָתָם עַד־עֹולָם לְמַעַן תֶּחֶזְקוּ וַאֲכַלְתֶּם אֶת־טוּב הָאָרֶץ וְהֹורַשְׁתֶּם לִבְנֵיכֶם עַד־עֹולָם׃ |
| 9:13 Mas después de todo lo que nos ha sobrevenido a causa de nuestras malas obras, y a causa de nuestro gran pecado, ya que tú, Dios nuestro, no nos has castigado de acuerdo con nuestras iniquidades, y nos diste un remanente como este, |
And after all that is come upon us for our evil deeds, and for our great trespass, seeing that thou our God hast punished us less than our iniquities deserve, and hast given us such deliverance as this; |
וְאַחֲרֵי כָּל־הַבָּא עָלֵינוּ בְּמַעֲשֵׂינוּ הָרָעִים וּבְאַשְׁמָתֵנוּ הַגְּדֹלָה כִּי ׀ אַתָּה אֱלֹהֵינוּ חָשַׂכְתָּ לְמַטָּה מֵעֲוֹנֵנוּ וְנָתַתָּה לָּנוּ פְּלֵיטָה כָּזֹאת׃ |
| 9:14 ¿hemos de volver a infringir tus mandamientos, y a emparentar con pueblos que cometen estas abominaciones? ¿No te indignarías contra nosotros hasta consumirnos, sin que quedara remanente ni quien escape? |
Should we again break thy commandments, and join in affinity with the people of these abominations? wouldest not thou be angry with us till thou hadst consumed us, so that there should be no remnant nor escaping? |
הֲנָשׁוּב לְהָפֵר מִצְוֹתֶיךָ וּלְהִתְחַתֵּן בְּעַמֵּי הַתֹּעֵבֹות הָאֵלֶּה הֲלֹוא תֶאֱנַף־בָּנוּ עַד־כַּלֵּה לְאֵין שְׁאֵרִית וּפְלֵיטָה׃ פ |
| 9:15 Oh Jehová Dios de Israel, tú eres justo, puesto que hemos quedado un remanente que ha escapado, como en este día. Henos aquí delante de ti en nuestros delitos; porque no es posible estar en tu presencia a causa de esto. |
O LORD God of Israel, thou art righteous: for we remain yet escaped, as it is this day: behold, we are before thee in our trespasses: for we cannot stand before thee because of this. |
יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל צַדִּיק אַתָּה כִּי־נִשְׁאַרְנוּ פְלֵיטָה כְּהַיֹּום הַזֶּה הִנְנוּ לְפָנֶיךָ בְּאַשְׁמָתֵינוּ כִּי אֵין לַעֲמֹוד לְפָנֶיךָ עַל־זֹאת׃ פ |
| 10:1 Mientras oraba Esdras y hacía confesión, llorando y postrándose delante de la casa de Dios, se juntó a él una muy grande multitud de Israel, hombres, mujeres y niños; y lloraba el pueblo amargamente. |
Now when Ezra had prayed, and when he had confessed, weeping and casting himself down before the house of God, there assembled unto him out of Israel a very great congregation of men and women and children: for the people wept very sore. |
וּכְהִתְפַּלֵּל עֶזְרָא וּכְהִתְוַדֹּתֹו בֹּכֶה וּמִתְנַפֵּל לִפְנֵי בֵּית הָאֱלֹהִים נִקְבְּצוּ אֵלָיו מִיִּשְׂרָאֵל קָהָל רַב־מְאֹד אֲנָשִׁים וְנָשִׁים וִילָדִים כִּי־בָכוּ הָעָם הַרְבֵּה־בֶכֶה׃ ס |
| 10:2 Entonces respondió Secanías hijo de Jehiel, de los hijos de Elam, y dijo a Esdras: Nosotros hemos pecado contra nuestro Dios, pues tomamos mujeres extranjeras de los pueblos de la tierra; mas a pesar de esto, aún hay esperanza para Israel. |
And Shechaniah the son of Jehiel, one of the sons of Elam, answered and said unto Ezra, We have trespassed against our God, and have taken strange wives of the people of the land: yet now there is hope in Israel concerning this thing. |
וַיַּעַן שְׁכַנְיָה בֶן־יְחִיאֵל מִבְּנֵי [עֹולָם כ] (עֵילָם ק) וַיֹּאמֶר לְעֶזְרָא אֲנַחְנוּ מָעַלְנוּ בֵאלֹהֵינוּ וַנֹּשֶׁב נָשִׁים נָכְרִיֹּות מֵעַמֵּי הָאָרֶץ וְעַתָּה יֵשׁ־מִקְוֶה לְיִשְׂרָאֵל עַל־זֹאת׃ |
| 10:3 Ahora, pues, hagamos pacto con nuestro Dios, que despediremos a todas las mujeres y los nacidos de ellas, según el consejo de mi señor y de los que temen el mandamiento de nuestro Dios; y hágase conforme a la ley. |
Now therefore let us make a covenant with our God to put away all the wives, and such as are born of them, according to the counsel of my lord, and of those that tremble at the commandment of our God; and let it be done according to the law. |
וְעַתָּה נִכְרָת־בְּרִית לֵאלֹהֵינוּ לְהֹוצִיא כָל־נָשִׁים וְהַנֹּולָד מֵהֶם בַּעֲצַת אֲדֹנָי וְהַחֲרֵדִים בְּמִצְוַת אֱלֹהֵינוּ וְכַתֹּורָה יֵעָשֶׂה׃ |
| 10:4 Levántate, porque esta es tu obligación, y nosotros estaremos contigo; esfuérzate, y pon mano a la obra. |
Arise; for this matter belongeth unto thee: we also will be with thee: be of good courage, and do it. |
קוּם כִּי־עָלֶיךָ הַדָּבָר וַאֲנַחְנוּ עִמָּךְ חֲזַק וַעֲשֵׂה׃ פ |
| 10:5 Entonces se levantó Esdras y juramentó a los príncipes de los sacerdotes y de los levitas, y a todo Israel, que harían conforme a esto; y ellos juraron. |
Then arose Ezra, and made the chief priests, the Levites, and all Israel, to swear that they should do according to this word. And they sware. |
וַיָּקָם עֶזְרָא וַיַּשְׁבַּע אֶת־שָׂרֵי הַכֹּהֲנִים הַלְוִיִּם וְכָל־יִשְׂרָאֵל לַעֲשֹׂות כַּדָּבָר הַזֶּה וַיִּשָּׁבֵעוּ׃ |
| 10:6 Se levantó luego Esdras de delante de la casa de Dios, y se fue a la cámara de Johanán hijo de Eliasib; e ido allá, no comió pan ni bebió agua, porque se entristeció a causa del pecado de los del cautiverio. |
Then Ezra rose up from before the house of God, and went into the chamber of Johanan the son of Eliashib: and when he came thither, he did eat no bread, nor drink water: for he mourned because of the transgression of them that had been carried away. |
וַיָּקָם עֶזְרָא מִלִּפְנֵי בֵּית הָאֱלֹהִים וַיֵּלֶךְ אֶל־לִשְׁכַּת יְהֹוחָנָן בֶּן־אֶלְיָשִׁיב וַיֵּלֶךְ שָׁם לֶחֶם לֹא־אָכַל וּמַיִם לֹא־שָׁתָה כִּי מִתְאַבֵּל עַל־מַעַל הַגֹּולָה׃ ס |
| 10:7 E hicieron pregonar en Judá y en Jerusalén que todos los hijos del cautiverio se reuniesen en Jerusalén; |
And they made proclamation throughout Judah and Jerusalem unto all the children of the captivity, that they should gather themselves together unto Jerusalem; |
וַיַּעֲבִירוּ קֹול בִּיהוּדָה וִירוּשָׁלִַם לְכֹל בְּנֵי הַגֹּולָה לְהִקָּבֵץ יְרוּשָׁלִָם׃ |
| 10:8 y que el que no viniera dentro de tres días, conforme al acuerdo de los príncipes y de los ancianos, perdiese toda su hacienda, y el tal fuese excluido de la congregación de los del cautiverio. |
And that whosoever would not come within three days, according to the counsel of the princes and the elders, all his substance should be forfeited, and himself separated from the congregation of those that had been carried away. |
וְכֹל אֲשֶׁר לֹא־יָבֹוא לִשְׁלֹשֶׁת הַיָּמִים כַּעֲצַת הַשָּׂרִים וְהַזְּקֵנִים יָחֳרַם כָּל־רְכוּשֹׁו וְהוּא יִבָּדֵל מִקְּהַל הַגֹּולָה׃ ס |
| 10:9 Así todos los hombres de Judá y de Benjamín se reunieron en Jerusalén dentro de los tres días, a los veinte días del mes, que era el mes noveno; y se sentó todo el pueblo en la plaza de la casa de Dios, temblando con motivo de aquel asunto, y a causa de la lluvia. |
Then all the men of Judah and Benjamin gathered themselves together unto Jerusalem within three days. It was the ninth month, on the twentieth day of the month; and all the people sat in the street of the house of God, trembling because of this matter, and for the great rain. |
וַיִּקָּבְצוּ כָל־אַנְשֵׁי־יְהוּדָה וּבִנְיָמִן ׀ יְרוּשָׁלִַם לִשְׁלֹשֶׁת הַיָּמִים הוּא חֹדֶשׁ הַתְּשִׁיעִי בְּעֶשְׂרִים בַּחֹדֶשׁ וַיֵּשְׁבוּ כָל־הָעָם בִּרְחֹוב בֵּית הָאֱלֹהִים מַרְעִידִים עַל־הַדָּבָר וּמֵהַגְּשָׁמִים׃ פ |
| 10:10 Y se levantó el sacerdote Esdras y les dijo: Vosotros habéis pecado, por cuanto tomasteis mujeres extranjeras, añadiendo así sobre el pecado de Israel. |
And Ezra the priest stood up, and said unto them, Ye have transgressed, and have taken strange wives, to increase the trespass of Israel. |
וַיָּקָם עֶזְרָא הַכֹּהֵן וַיֹּאמֶר אֲלֵהֶם אַתֶּם מְעַלְתֶּם וַתֹּשִׁיבוּ נָשִׁים נָכְרִיֹּות לְהֹוסִיף עַל־אַשְׁמַת יִשְׂרָאֵל׃ |
| 10:11 Ahora, pues, dad gloria a Jehová Dios de vuestros padres, y haced su voluntad, y apartaos de los pueblos de las tierras, y de las mujeres extranjeras. |
Now therefore make confession unto the LORD God of your fathers, and do his pleasure: and separate yourselves from the people of the land, and from the strange wives. |
וְעַתָּה תְּנוּ תֹודָה לַיהוָה אֱלֹהֵי־אֲבֹתֵיכֶם וַעֲשׂוּ רְצֹונֹו וְהִבָּדְלוּ מֵעַמֵּי הָאָרֶץ וּמִן־הַנָּשִׁים הַנָּכְרִיֹּות׃ |
| 10:12 Y respondió toda la asamblea, y dijeron en alta voz: Así se haga conforme a tu palabra. |
Then all the congregation answered and said with a loud voice, As thou hast said, so must we do. |
וַיַּעְנוּ כָל־הַקָּהָל וַיֹּאמְרוּ קֹול גָּדֹול כֵּן [כְּדִבְרֶיךָ כ] (כִּדְבָרְךָ ק) עָלֵינוּ לַעֲשֹׂות׃ |
| 10:13 Pero el pueblo es mucho, y el tiempo lluvioso, y no podemos estar en la calle; ni la obra es de un día ni de dos, porque somos muchos los que hemos pecado en esto. |
But the people are many, and it is a time of much rain, and we are not able to stand without, neither is this a work of one day or two: for we are many that have transgressed in this thing. |
אֲבָל הָעָם רָב וְהָעֵת גְּשָׁמִים וְאֵין כֹּחַ לַעֲמֹוד בַּחוּץ וְהַמְּלָאכָה לֹא־לְיֹום אֶחָד וְלֹא לִשְׁנַיִם כִּי־הִרְבִּינוּ לִפְשֹׁעַ בַּדָּבָר הַזֶּה׃ |
| 10:14 Sean nuestros príncipes los que se queden en lugar de toda la congregación, y todos aquellos que en nuestras ciudades hayan tomado mujeres extranjeras, vengan en tiempos determinados, y con ellos los ancianos de cada ciudad, y los jueces de ellas, hasta que apartemos de nosotros el ardor de la ira de nuestro Dios sobre esto. |
Let now our rulers of all the congregation stand, and let all them which have taken strange wives in our cities come at appointed times, and with them the elders of every city, and the judges thereof, until the fierce wrath of our God for this matter be turned from us. |
יַעֲמְדוּ־נָא רֵינוּ לְכָל־הַקָּהָל וְכֹל ׀ אֲשֶׁר בֶּעָרֵינוּ הַהֹשִׁיב נָשִׁים נָכְרִיֹּות יָבֹא לְעִתִּים מְזֻמָּנִים וְעִמָּהֶם זִקְנֵי־עִיר וָעִיר וְשֹׁפְטֶיהָ עַד לְהָשִׁיב חֲרֹון אַף־אֱלֹהֵינוּ מִמֶּנּוּ עַד לַדָּבָר הַזֶּה׃ פ |
| 10:15 Solamente Jonatán hijo de Asael y Jahazías hijo de Ticva se opusieron a esto, y los levitas Mesulam y Sabetai les ayudaron. |
Only Jonathan the son of Asahel and Jahaziah the son of Tikvah were employed about this matter: and Meshullam and Shabbethai the Levite helped them. |
אַךְ יֹונָתָן בֶּן־עֲשָׂהאֵל וְיַחְזְיָה בֶן־תִּקְוָה עָמְדוּ עַל־זֹאת וּמְשֻׁלָּם וְשַׁבְּתַי הַלֵּוִי עֲזָרֻם׃ |
| 10:16 Así hicieron los hijos del cautiverio. Y fueron apartados el sacerdote Esdras, y ciertos varones jefes de casas paternas según sus casas paternas; todos ellos por sus nombres se sentaron el primer día del mes décimo para inquirir sobre el asunto. |
And the children of the captivity did so. And Ezra the priest, with certain chief of the fathers, after the house of their fathers, and all of them by their names, were separated, and sat down in the first day of the tenth month to examine the matter. |
וַיַּעֲשׂוּ־כֵן בְּנֵי הַגֹּולָה וַיִּבָּדְלוּ עֶזְרָא הַכֹּהֵן אֲנָשִׁים רָאשֵׁי הָאָבֹות לְבֵית אֲבֹתָם וְכֻלָּם בְּשֵׁמֹות וַיֵּשְׁבוּ בְּיֹום אֶחָד לַחֹדֶשׁ הָעֲשִׂירִי לְדַרְיֹושׁ הַדָּבָר׃ |
| 10:17 Y terminaron el juicio de todos aquellos que habían tomado mujeres extranjeras, el primer día del mes primero. |
And they made an end with all the men that had taken strange wives by the first day of the first month. |
וַיְכַלּוּ בַכֹּל אֲנָשִׁים הַהֹשִׁיבוּ נָשִׁים נָכְרִיֹּות עַד יֹום אֶחָד לַחֹדֶשׁ הָרִאשֹׁון׃ פ |
| 10:18 De los hijos de los sacerdotes que habían tomado mujeres extranjeras, fueron hallados estos: De los hijos de Jesúa hijo de Josadac, y de sus hermanos: Maasías, Eliezer, Jarib y Gedalías. |
And among the sons of the priests there were found that had taken strange wives: namely, of the sons of Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and his brethren; Maaseiah, and Eliezer, and Jarib, and Gedaliah. |
וַיִּמָּצֵא מִבְּנֵי הַכֹּהֲנִים אֲשֶׁר הֹשִׁיבוּ נָשִׁים נָכְרִיֹּות מִבְּנֵי יֵשׁוּעַ בֶּן־יֹוצָדָק וְאֶחָיו מַעֲשֵׂיָה וֶאֱלִיעֶזֶר וְיָרִיב וּגְדַלְיָה׃ |
| 10:19 Y dieron su mano en promesa de que despedirían sus mujeres, y ofrecieron como ofrenda por su pecado un carnero de los rebaños por su delito. |
And they gave their hands that they would put away their wives; and being guilty, they offered a ram of the flock for their trespass. |
וַיִּתְּנוּ יָדָם לְהֹוצִיא נְשֵׁיהֶם וַאֲשֵׁמִים אֵיל־צֹאן עַל־אַשְׁמָתָם׃ ס |
| 10:20 De los hijos de Imer: Hanani y Zebadías. |
And of the sons of Immer; Hanani, and Zebadiah. |
וּמִבְּנֵי אִמֵּר חֲנָנִי וּזְבַדְיָה׃ ס |
| 10:21 De los hijos de Harim: Maasías, Elías, Semaías, Jehiel y Uzías. |
And of the sons of Harim; Maaseiah, and Elijah, and Shemaiah, and Jehiel, and Uzziah. |
וּמִבְּנֵי חָרִם מַעֲשֵׂיָה וְאֵלִיָּה וּשְׁמַעְיָה וִיחִיאֵל וְעֻזִיָּה׃ |
| 10:22 De los hijos de Pasur: Elioenai, Maasías, Ismael, Natanael, Jozabad y Elasa. |
And of the sons of Pashur; Elioenai, Maaseiah, Ishmael, Nethaneel, Jozabad, and Elasah. |
וּמִבְּנֵי פַּשְׁחוּר אֶלְיֹועֵינַי מַעֲשֵׂיָה יִשְׁמָעֵאל נְתַנְאֵל יֹוזָבָד וְאֶלְעָשָׂה׃ ס |
| 10:23 De los hijos de los levitas: Jozabad, Simei, Kelaía (éste es Kelita), Petaías, Judá y Eliezer. |
Also of the Levites; Jozabad, and Shimei, and Kelaiah, (the same is Kelita,) Pethahiah, Judah, and Eliezer. |
וּמִן־הַלְוִיִּם יֹוזָבָד וְשִׁמְעִי וְקֵלָיָה הוּא קְלִיטָא פְּתַחְיָה יְהוּדָה וֶאֱלִיעֶזֶר׃ ס |
| 10:24 De los cantores: Eliasib; y de los porteros: Salum, Telem y Uri. |
Of the singers also; Eliashib: and of the porters; Shallum, and Telem, and Uri. |
וּמִן־הַמְשֹׁרְרִים אֶלְיָשִׁיב וּמִן־הַשֹּׁעֲרִים שַׁלֻּם וָטֶלֶם וְאוּרִי׃ ס |
| 10:25 Asimismo de Israel: De los hijos de Paros: Ramía, Jezías, Malquías, Mijamín, Eleazar, Malquías y Benaía. |
Moreover of Israel: of the sons of Parosh; Ramiah, and Jeziah, and Malchiah, and Miamin, and Eleazar, and Malchijah, and Benaiah. |
וּמִיִּשְׂרָאֵל מִבְּנֵי פַרְעֹשׁ רַמְיָה וְיִזִּיָּה וּמַלְכִּיָּה וּמִיָּמִן וְאֶלְעָזָר וּמַלְכִּיָּה וּבְנָיָה׃ ס |
| 10:26 De los hijos de Elam: Matanías, Zacarías, Jehiel, Abdi, Jeremot y Elías. |
And of the sons of Elam; Mattaniah, Zechariah, and Jehiel, and Abdi, and Jeremoth, and Eliah. |
וּמִבְּנֵי עֵילָם מַתַּנְיָה זְכַרְיָה וִיחִיאֵל וְעַבְדִּי וִירֵמֹות וְאֵלִיָּה׃ ס |
| 10:27 De los hijos de Zatu: Elioenai, Eliasib, Matanías, Jeremot, Zabad y Aziza. |
And of the sons of Zattu; Elioenai, Eliashib, Mattaniah, and Jeremoth, and Zabad, and Aziza. |
וּמִבְּנֵי זַתּוּא אֶלְיֹועֵנַי אֶלְיָשִׁיב מַתַּנְיָה וִירֵמֹות וְזָבָד וַעֲזִיזָא׃ ס |
| 10:28 De los hijos de Bebai: Johanán, Hananías, Zabai y Atlai. |
Of the sons also of Bebai; Jehohanan, Hananiah, Zabbai, and Athlai. |
וּמִבְּנֵי בֵּבָי יְהֹוחָנָן חֲנַנְיָה זַבַּי עַתְלָי׃ ס |
| 10:29 De los hijos de Bani: Mesulam, Maluc, Adaía, Jasub, Seal y Ramot. |
And of the sons of Bani; Meshullam, Malluch, and Adaiah, Jashub, and Sheal, and Ramoth. |
וּמִבְּנֵי בָּנִי מְשֻׁלָּם מַלּוּךְ וַעֲדָיָה יָשׁוּב וּשְׁאָל [יְרֵמֹות כ] (וְרָמֹות׃ ק) ס |
| 10:30 De los hijos de Pahat-moab: Adna, Quelal, Benaía, Maasías, Matanías, Bezaleel, Binúi y Manasés. |
And of the sons of Pahathmoab; Adna, and Chelal, Benaiah, Maaseiah, Mattaniah, Bezaleel, and Binnui, and Manasseh. |
וּמִבְּנֵי פַּחַת מֹואָב עַדְנָא וּכְלָל בְּנָיָה מַעֲשֵׂיָה מַתַּנְיָה בְצַלְאֵל וּבִנּוּי וּמְנַשֶּׁה׃ ס |

| 10:44 Todos estos habían tomado mujeres extranjeras; y había mujeres de ellos que habían dado a luz hijos. |
All these had taken strange wives: and some of them had wives by whom they had children. |
כָּל־אֵלֶּה [נָשְׂאוּ כ] (נָשְׂאוּ ק) נָשִׁים נָכְרִיֹּות וְיֵשׁ מֵהֶם נָשִׁים וַיָּשִׂימוּ בָּנִים׃ פ |
