| 1. ¡Cómo ha quedado sola la ciudad populosa! La grande entre las naciones se ha vuelto como viuda, La señora de provincias ha sido hecha tributaria. |
How doth the city sit solitary, that was full of people! how is she become as a widow! she that was great among the nations, and princess among the provinces, how is she become tributary! |
אֵיכָה יָשְׁבָה בָדָד הָעִיר רַבָּתִי עָם הָיְתָה כְּאַלְמָנָה רַבָּתִי בַגֹּויִם שָׂרָתִי בַּמְּדִינֹות הָיְתָה לָמַס׃ ס |
| 2. Amargamente llora en la noche, y sus lágrimas están en sus mejillas. No tiene quien la consuele de todos sus amantes; Todos sus amigos le faltaron, se le volvieron enemigos. |
She weepeth sore in the night, and her tears are on her cheeks: among all her lovers she hath none to comfort her: all her friends have dealt treacherously with her, they are become her enemies. |
בָּכֹו תִבְכֶּה בַּלַּיְלָה וְדִמְעָתָהּ עַל לֶחֱיָהּ אֵין־לָהּ מְנַחֵם מִכָּל־אֹהֲבֶיהָ כָּל־רֵעֶיהָ בָּגְדוּ בָהּ הָיוּ לָהּ לְאֹיְבִים׃ ס |
| 3. Judá ha ido en cautiverio a causa de la aflicción y de la dura servidumbre; Ella habitó entre las naciones, y no halló descanso; Todos sus perseguidores la alcanzaron entre las estrechuras. |
Judah is gone into captivity because of affliction, and because of great servitude: she dwelleth among the heathen, she findeth no rest: all her persecutors overtook her between the straits. |
גָּלְתָה יְהוּדָה מֵעֹנִי וּמֵרֹב עֲבֹדָה הִיא יָשְׁבָה בַגֹּויִם לֹא מָצְאָה מָנֹוחַ כָּל־רֹדְפֶיהָ הִשִּׂיגוּהָ בֵּין הַמְּצָרִים׃ ס |
| 4. Las calzadas de Sion tienen luto, porque no hay quien venga a las fiestas solemnes; Todas sus puertas están asoladas, sus sacerdotes gimen, Sus vírgenes están afligidas, y ella tiene amargura. |
The ways of Zion do mourn, because none come to the solemn feasts: all her gates are desolate: her priests sigh, her virgins are afflicted, and she is in bitterness. |
דַּרְכֵי צִיֹּון אֲבֵלֹות מִבְּלִי בָּאֵי מֹועֵד כָּל־שְׁעָרֶיהָ שֹׁומֵמִין כֹּהֲנֶיהָ נֶאֱנָחִים בְּתוּלֹתֶיהָ נּוּגֹות וְהִיא מַר־לָהּ׃ ס |
| 5. Sus enemigos han sido hechos príncipes, sus aborrecedores fueron prosperados, Porque Jehová la afligió por la multitud de sus rebeliones; Sus hijos fueron en cautividad delante del enemigo. |
Her adversaries are the chief, her enemies prosper; for the LORD hath afflicted her for the multitude of her transgressions: her children are gone into captivity before the enemy. |
הָיוּ צָרֶיהָ לְרֹאשׁ אֹיְבֶיהָ שָׁלוּ כִּי־יְהוָה הֹוגָהּ עַל רֹב־פְּשָׁעֶיהָ עֹולָלֶיהָ הָלְכוּ שְׁבִי לִפְנֵי־צָר׃ ס |
| 6. Desapareció de la hija de Sion toda su hermosura; Sus príncipes fueron como ciervos que no hallan pasto, Y anduvieron sin fuerzas delante del perseguidor. |
And from the daughter of Zion all her beauty is departed: her princes are become like harts that find no pasture, and they are gone without strength before the pursuer. |
וַיֵּצֵא [מִן־בַת־ כ] (מִבַּת־צִיֹּון ק) כָּל־הֲדָרָהּ הָיוּ שָׂרֶיהָ כְּאַיָּלִים לֹא־מָצְאוּ מִרְעֶה וַיֵּלְכוּ בְלֹא־כֹחַ לִפְנֵי רֹודֵף׃ ס |
| 7. Jerusalén, cuando cayó su pueblo en mano del enemigo y no hubo quien la ayudase, Se acordó de los días de su aflicción, y de sus rebeliones, Y de todas las cosas agradables que tuvo desde los tiempos antiguos. La miraron los enemigos, y se burlaron de su caída. |
Jerusalem remembered in the days of her affliction and of her miseries all her pleasant things that she had in the days of old, when her people fell into the hand of the enemy, and none did help her: the adversaries saw her, and did mock at her sabbaths. |
זָכְרָה יְרוּשָׁלִַם יְמֵי עָנְיָהּ וּמְרוּדֶיהָ כֹּל מַחֲמֻדֶיהָ אֲשֶׁר הָיוּ מִימֵי קֶדֶם בִּנְפֹל עַמָּהּ בְּיַד־צָר וְאֵין עֹוזֵר לָהּ רָאוּהָ צָרִים שָׂחֲקוּ עַל מִשְׁבַּתֶּהָ׃ ס |
| 8. Pecado cometió Jerusalén, por lo cual ella ha sido removida; Todos los que la honraban la han menospreciado, porque vieron su vergüenza; Y ella suspira, y se vuelve atrás. |
Jerusalem hath grievously sinned; therefore she is removed: all that honoured her despise her, because they have seen her nakedness: yea, she sigheth, and turneth backward. |
חֵטְא חָטְאָה יְרוּשָׁלִַם עַל־כֵּן לְנִידָה הָיָתָה כָּל־מְכַבְּדֶיהָ הִזִּילוּהָ כִּי־רָאוּ עֶרְוָתָהּ גַּם־הִיא נֶאֶנְחָה וַתָּשָׁב אָחֹור׃ ס |
| 9. Su inmundicia está en sus faldas, y no se acordó de su fin; Por tanto, ella ha descendido sorprendentemente, y no tiene quien la consuele. Mira, oh Jehová, mi aflicción, porque el enemigo se ha engrandecido. |
Her filthiness is in her skirts; she remembereth not her last end; therefore she came down wonderfully: she had no comforter. O LORD, behold my affliction: for the enemy hath magnified himself. |
טֻמְאָתָהּ בְּשׁוּלֶיהָ לֹא זָכְרָה אַחֲרִיתָהּ וַתֵּרֶד פְּלָאִים אֵין מְנַחֵם לָהּ רְאֵה יְהוָה אֶת־עָנְיִי כִּי הִגְדִּיל אֹויֵב׃ ס |
| 10. Extendió su mano el enemigo a todas sus cosas preciosas; Ella ha visto entrar en su santuario a las naciones De las cuales mandaste que no entrasen en tu congregación. |
The adversary hath spread out his hand upon all her pleasant things: for she hath seen that the heathen entered into her sanctuary, whom thou didst command that they should not enter into thy congregation. |
יָדֹו פָּרַשׂ צָר עַל כָּל־מַחֲמַדֶּיהָ כִּי־רָאֲתָה גֹויִם בָּאוּ מִקְדָּשָׁהּ אֲשֶׁר צִוִּיתָה לֹא־יָבֹאוּ בַקָּהָל לָךְ׃ ס |
| 11. Todo su pueblo buscó su pan suspirando; Dieron por la comida todas sus cosas preciosas, para entretener la vida. Mira, oh Jehová, y ve que estoy abatida. |
All her people sigh, they seek bread; they have given their pleasant things for meat to relieve the soul: see, O LORD, and consider; for I am become vile. |
כָּל־עַמָּהּ נֶאֱנָחִים מְבַקְּשִׁים לֶחֶם נָתְנוּ [מַחֲמֹודֵּיהֶם כ] (מַחֲמַדֵּיהֶם ק) בְּאֹכֶל לְהָשִׁיב נָפֶשׁ רְאֵה יְהוָה וְהַבִּיטָה כִּי הָיִיתִי זֹולֵלָה׃ ס |
| 12. ¿No os conmueve a cuantos pasáis por el camino? Mirad, y ved si hay dolor como mi dolor que me ha venido; Porque Jehová me ha angustiado en el día de su ardiente furor. |
Is it nothing to you, all ye that pass by? behold, and see if there be any sorrow like unto my sorrow, which is done unto me, wherewith the LORD hath afflicted me in the day of his fierce anger. |
לֹוא אֲלֵיכֶם כָּל־עֹבְרֵי דֶרֶךְ הַבִּיטוּ וּרְאוּ אִם־יֵשׁ מַכְאֹוב כְּמַכְאֹבִי אֲשֶׁר עֹולַל לִי אֲשֶׁר הֹוגָה יְהוָה בְּיֹום חֲרֹון אַפֹּו׃ ס |
| 13. Desde lo alto envió fuego que consume mis huesos; Ha extendido red a mis pies, me volvió atrás, Me dejó desolada, y con dolor todo el día. |
From above hath he sent fire into my bones, and it prevaileth against them: he hath spread a net for my feet, he hath turned me back: he hath made me desolate and faint all the day. |
מִמָּרֹום שָׁלַח־אֵשׁ בְּעַצְמֹתַי וַיִּרְדֶּנָּה פָּרַשׂ רֶשֶׁת לְרַגְלַי הֱשִׁיבַנִי אָחֹור נְתָנַנִי שֹׁמֵמָה כָּל־הַיֹּום דָּוָה׃ ס |
| 14. El yugo de mis rebeliones ha sido atado por su mano; Ataduras han sido echadas sobre mi cerviz; ha debilitado mis fuerzas; Me ha entregado el Señor en manos contra las cuales no podré levantarme. |
The yoke of my transgressions is bound by his hand: they are wreathed, and come up upon my neck: he hath made my strength to fall, the Lord hath delivered me into their hands, from whom I am not able to rise up. |
נִשְׂקַד עֹל פְּשָׁעַי בְּיָדֹו יִשְׂתָּרְגוּ עָלוּ עַל־צַוָּארִי הִכְשִׁיל כֹּחִי נְתָנַנִי אֲדֹנָי בִּידֵי לֹא־אוּכַל קוּם׃ ס |
| 15. El Señor ha hollado a todos mis hombres fuertes en medio de mí; Llamó contra mí compañía para quebrantar a mis jóvenes; Como lagar ha hollado el Señor a la virgen hija de Judá. |
The Lord hath trodden under foot all my mighty men in the midst of me: he hath called an assembly against me to crush my young men: the Lord hath trodden the virgin, the daughter of Judah, as in a winepress. |
סִלָּה כָל־אַבִּירַי אֲדֹנָי בְּקִרְבִּי קָרָא עָלַי מֹועֵד לִשְׁבֹּר בַּחוּרָי גַּת דָּרַךְ אֲדֹנָי לִבְתוּלַת בַּת־יְהוּדָה׃ ס |
| 16. Por esta causa lloro; mis ojos, mis ojos fluyen aguas, Porque se alejó de mí el consolador que dé reposo a mi alma; Mis hijos son destruidos, porque el enemigo prevaleció. |
For these things I weep; mine eye, mine eye runneth down with water, because the comforter that should relieve my soul is far from me: my children are desolate, because the enemy prevailed. |
עַל־אֵלֶּה אֲנִי בֹוכִיָּה עֵינִי עֵינִי יֹרְדָה מַּיִם כִּי־רָחַק מִמֶּנִּי מְנַחֵם מֵשִׁיב נַפְשִׁי הָיוּ בָנַי שֹׁומֵמִים כִּי גָבַר אֹויֵב׃ ס |
| 17. Sion extendió sus manos; no tiene quien la consuele; Jehová dio mandamiento contra Jacob, que sus vecinos fuesen sus enemigos; Jerusalén fue objeto de abominación entre ellos. |
Zion spreadeth forth her hands, and there is none to comfort her: the LORD hath commanded concerning Jacob, that his adversaries should be round about him: Jerusalem is as a menstruous woman among them. |
פֵּרְשָׂה צִיֹּון בְּיָדֶיהָ אֵין מְנַחֵם לָהּ צִוָּה יְהוָה לְיַעֲקֹב סְבִיבָיו צָרָיו הָיְתָה יְרוּשָׁלִַם לְנִדָּה בֵּינֵיהֶם׃ ס |
| 18. Jehová es justo; yo contra su palabra me rebelé. Oíd ahora, pueblos todos, y ved mi dolor; Mis vírgenes y mis jóvenes fueron llevados en cautiverio. |
The LORD is righteous; for I have rebelled against his commandment: hear, I pray you, all people, and behold my sorrow: my virgins and my young men are gone into captivity. |
צַדִּיק הוּא יְהוָה כִּי פִיהוּ מָרִיתִי שִׁמְעוּ־נָא כָל־ [עַמִּים כ] (הָעַמִּים ק) וּרְאוּ מַכְאֹבִי בְּתוּלֹתַי וּבַחוּרַי הָלְכוּ בַשֶּׁבִי׃ ס |
| 19. Di voces a mis amantes, mas ellos me han engañado; Mis sacerdotes y mis ancianos en la ciudad perecieron, Buscando comida para sí con que entretener su vida. |
I called for my lovers, but they deceived me: my priests and mine elders gave up the ghost in the city, while they sought their meat to relieve their souls. |
קָרָאתִי לַמְאַהֲבַי הֵמָּה רִמּוּנִי כֹּהֲנַי וּזְקֵנַי בָּעִיר גָּוָעוּ כִּי־בִקְשׁוּ אֹכֶל לָמֹו וְיָשִׁיבוּ אֶת־נַפְשָׁם׃ ס |
| 20. Mira, oh Jehová, estoy atribulada, mis entrañas hierven. Mi corazón se trastorna dentro de mí, porque me rebelé en gran manera. Por fuera hizo estragos la espada; por dentro señoreó la muerte. |
Behold, O LORD; for I am in distress: my bowels are troubled; mine heart is turned within me; for I have grievously rebelled: abroad the sword bereaveth, at home there is as death. |
רְאֵה יְהוָה כִּי־צַר־לִי מֵעַי חֳמַרְמָרוּ נֶהְפַּךְ לִבִּי בְּקִרְבִּי כִּי מָרֹו מָרִיתִי מִחוּץ שִׁכְּלָה־חֶרֶב בַּבַּיִת כַּמָּוֶת׃ ס |
| 21. Oyeron que gemía, mas no hay consolador para mí; Todos mis enemigos han oído mi mal, se alegran de lo que tú hiciste. Harás venir el día que has anunciado, y serán como yo. |
They have heard that I sigh: there is none to comfort me: all mine enemies have heard of my trouble; they are glad that thou hast done it: thou wilt bring the day that thou hast called, and they shall be like unto me. |
שָׁמְעוּ כִּי נֶאֱנָחָה אָנִי אֵין מְנַחֵם לִי כָּל־אֹיְבַי שָׁמְעוּ רָעָתִי שָׂשׂוּ כִּי אַתָּה עָשִׂיתָ הֵבֵאתָ יֹום־קָרָאתָ וְיִהְיוּ כָמֹונִי׃ ס |
| 22. Venga delante de ti toda su maldad, Y haz con ellos como hiciste conmigo por todas mis rebeliones; Porque muchos son mis suspiros, y mi corazón está adolorido. |
Let all their wickedness come before thee; and do unto them, as thou hast done unto me for all my transgressions: for my sighs are many, and my heart is faint. |
תָּבֹא כָל־רָעָתָם לְפָנֶיךָ וְעֹולֵל לָמֹו כַּאֲשֶׁר עֹולַלְתָּ לִי עַל כָּל־פְּשָׁעָי כִּי־רַבֹּות אַנְחֹתַי וְלִבִּי דַוָּי׃ פ |
| 1. ¡Cómo oscureció el Señor en su furor a la hija de Sion! Derribó del cielo a la tierra la hermosura de Israel, Y no se acordó del estrado de sus pies en el día de su furor. |
How hath the Lord covered the daughter of Zion with a cloud in his anger, and cast down from heaven unto the earth the beauty of Israel, and remembered not his footstool in the day of his anger! |
אֵיכָה יָעִיב בְּאַפֹּו אֲדֹנָי אֶת־בַּת־צִיֹּון הִשְׁלִיךְ מִשָּׁמַיִם אֶרֶץ תִּפְאֶרֶת יִשְׂרָאֵל וְלֹא־זָכַר הֲדֹם־רַגְלָיו בְּיֹום אַפֹּו׃ ס |
| 2. Destruyó el Señor, y no perdonó; Destruyó en su furor todas las tiendas de Jacob; Echó por tierra las fortalezas de la hija de Judá, Humilló al reino y a sus príncipes. |
The Lord hath swallowed up all the habitations of Jacob, and hath not pitied: he hath thrown down in his wrath the strong holds of the daughter of Judah; he hath brought them down to the ground: he hath polluted the kingdom and the princes thereof. |
בִּלַּע אֲדֹנָי [לֹא כ] (וְלֹא ק) חָמַל אֵת כָּל־נְאֹות יַעֲקֹב הָרַס בְּעֶבְרָתֹו מִבְצְרֵי בַת־יְהוּדָה הִגִּיעַ לָאָרֶץ חִלֵּל מַמְלָכָה וְשָׂרֶיהָ׃ ס |
| 3. Cortó con el ardor de su ira todo el poderío de Israel; Retiró de él su diestra frente al enemigo, Y se encendió en Jacob como llama de fuego que ha devorado alrededor. |
He hath cut off in his fierce anger all the horn of Israel: he hath drawn back his right hand from before the enemy, and he burned against Jacob like a flaming fire, which devoureth round about. |
גָּדַע בָּחֳרִי־אַף כֹּל קֶרֶן יִשְׂרָאֵל הֵשִׁיב אָחֹור יְמִינֹו מִפְּנֵי אֹויֵב וַיִּבְעַר בְּיַעֲקֹב כְּאֵשׁ לֶהָבָה אָכְלָה סָבִיב׃ ס |
| 4. Entesó su arco como enemigo, afirmó su mano derecha como adversario, Y destruyó cuanto era hermoso. En la tienda de la hija de Sion derramó como fuego su enojo. |
He hath bent his bow like an enemy: he stood with his right hand as an adversary, and slew all that were pleasant to the eye in the tabernacle of the daughter of Zion: he poured out his fury like fire. |
דָּרַךְ קַשְׁתֹּו כְּאֹויֵב נִצָּב יְמִינֹו כְּצָר וַיַּהֲרֹג כֹּל מַחֲמַדֵּי־עָיִן בְּאֹהֶל בַּת־צִיֹּון שָׁפַךְ כָּאֵשׁ חֲמָתֹו׃ ס |
| 5. El Señor llegó a ser como enemigo, destruyó a Israel; Destruyó todos sus palacios, derribó sus fortalezas, Y multiplicó en la hija de Judá la tristeza y el lamento. |
The Lord was as an enemy: he hath swallowed up Israel, he hath swallowed up all her palaces: he hath destroyed his strong holds, and hath increased in the daughter of Judah mourning and lamentation. |
הָיָה אֲדֹנָי כְּאֹויֵב בִּלַּע יִשְׂרָאֵל בִּלַּע כָּל־אַרְמְנֹותֶיהָ שִׁחֵת מִבְצָרָיו וַיֶּרֶב בְּבַת־יְהוּדָה תַּאֲנִיָּה וַאֲנִיָּה׃ ס |
| 6. Quitó su tienda como enramada de huerto; Destruyó el lugar en donde se congregaban; Jehová ha hecho olvidar las fiestas solemnes y los días de reposo en Sion, Y en el ardor de su ira ha desechado al rey y al sacerdote. |
And he hath violently taken away his tabernacle, as if it were of a garden: he hath destroyed his places of the assembly: the LORD hath caused the solemn feasts and sabbaths to be forgotten in Zion, and hath despised in the indignation of his anger the king and the priest. |
וַיַּחְמֹס כַּגַּן שֻׂכֹּו שִׁחֵת מֹועֲדֹו שִׁכַּח יְהוָה בְּצִיֹּון מֹועֵד וְשַׁבָּת וַיִּנְאַץ בְּזַעַם־אַפֹּו מֶלֶךְ וְכֹהֵן׃ ס |
| 7. Desechó el Señor su altar, menospreció su santuario; Ha entregado en mano del enemigo los muros de sus palacios; Hicieron resonar su voz en la casa de Jehová como en día de fiesta. |
The Lord hath cast off his altar, he hath abhorred his sanctuary, he hath given up into the hand of the enemy the walls of her palaces; they have made a noise in the house of the LORD, as in the day of a solemn feast. |
זָנַח אֲדֹנָי מִזְבְּחֹו נִאֵר מִקְדָּשֹׁו הִסְגִּיר בְּיַד־אֹויֵב חֹומֹת אַרְמְנֹותֶיהָ קֹול נָתְנוּ בְּבֵית־יְהוָה כְּיֹום מֹועֵד׃ ס |
| 8. Jehová determinó destruir el muro de la hija de Sion; Extendió el cordel, no retrajo su mano de la destrucción; Hizo, pues, que se lamentara el antemuro y el muro; fueron desolados juntamente. |
The LORD hath purposed to destroy the wall of the daughter of Zion: he hath stretched out a line, he hath not withdrawn his hand from destroying: therefore he made the rampart and the wall to lament; they languished together. |
חָשַׁב יְהוָה לְהַשְׁחִית חֹומַת בַּת־צִיֹּון נָטָה קָו לֹא־הֵשִׁיב יָדֹו מִבַּלֵּעַ וַיַּאֲבֶל־חֵל וְחֹומָה יַחְדָּו אֻמְלָלוּ׃ ס |
| 9. Sus puertas fueron echadas por tierra, destruyó y quebrantó sus cerrojos; Su rey y sus príncipes están entre las naciones donde no hay ley; Sus profetas tampoco hallaron visión de Jehová. |
Her gates are sunk into the ground; he hath destroyed and broken her bars: her king and her princes are among the Gentiles: the law is no more; her prophets also find no vision from the LORD. |
טָבְעוּ בָאָרֶץ שְׁעָרֶיהָ אִבַּד וְשִׁבַּר בְּרִיחֶיהָ מַלְכָּהּ וְשָׂרֶיהָ בַגֹּויִם אֵין תֹּורָה גַּם־נְבִיאֶיהָ לֹא־מָצְאוּ חָזֹון מֵיְהוָה׃ ס |
| 10. Se sentaron en tierra, callaron los ancianos de la hija de Sion; Echaron polvo sobre sus cabezas, se ciñeron de cilicio; Las vírgenes de Jerusalén bajaron sus cabezas a tierra. |
The elders of the daughter of Zion sit upon the ground, and keep silence: they have cast up dust upon their heads; they have girded themselves with sackcloth: the virgins of Jerusalem hang down their heads to the ground. |
יֵשְׁבוּ לָאָרֶץ יִדְּמוּ זִקְנֵי בַת־צִיֹּון הֶעֱלוּ עָפָר עַל־רֹאשָׁם חָגְרוּ שַׂקִּים הֹורִידוּ לָאָרֶץ רֹאשָׁן בְּתוּלֹת יְרוּשָׁלִָם׃ ס |
| 11. Mis ojos desfallecieron de lágrimas, se conmovieron mis entrañas, Mi hígado se derramó por tierra a causa del quebrantamiento de la hija de mi pueblo, Cuando desfallecía el niño y el que mamaba, en las plazas de la ciudad. |
Mine eyes do fail with tears, my bowels are troubled, my liver is poured upon the earth, for the destruction of the daughter of my people; because the children and the sucklings swoon in the streets of the city. |
כָּלוּ בַדְּמָעֹות עֵינַי חֳמַרְמְרוּ מֵעַי נִשְׁפַּךְ לָאָרֶץ כְּבֵדִי עַל־שֶׁבֶר בַּת־עַמִּי בֵּעָטֵף עֹולֵל וְיֹונֵק בִּרְחֹבֹות קִרְיָה׃ ס |
| 12. Decían a sus madres: ¿Dónde está el trigo y el vino? Desfallecían como heridos en las calles de la ciudad, Derramando sus almas en el regazo de sus madres. |
They say to their mothers, Where is corn and wine? when they swooned as the wounded in the streets of the city, when their soul was poured out into their mothers' bosom. |
לְאִמֹּתָם יֹאמְרוּ אַיֵּה דָּגָן וָיָיִן בְּהִתְעַטְּפָם כֶּחָלָל בִּרְחֹבֹות עִיר בְּהִשְׁתַּפֵּךְ נַפְשָׁם אֶל־חֵיק אִמֹּתָם׃ ס |
| 13. ¿Qué testigo te traeré, o a quién te haré semejante, hija de Jerusalén? ¿A quién te compararé para consolarte, oh virgen hija de Sion? Porque grande como el mar es tu quebrantamiento; ¿quién te sanará? |
What thing shall I take to witness for thee? what thing shall I liken to thee, O daughter of Jerusalem? what shall I equal to thee, that I may comfort thee, O virgin daughter of Zion? for thy breach is great like the sea: who can heal thee? |
מָה־אֲעִידֵךְ מָה אֲדַמֶּה־לָּךְ הַבַּת יְרוּשָׁלִַם מָה אַשְׁוֶה־לָּךְ וַאֲנַחֲמֵךְ בְּתוּלַת בַּת־צִיֹּון כִּי־גָדֹול כַּיָּם שִׁבְרֵךְ מִי יִרְפָּא־לָךְ׃ ס |
| 14. Tus profetas vieron para ti vanidad y locura; Y no descubrieron tu pecado para impedir tu cautiverio, Sino que te predicaron vanas profecías y extravíos. |
Thy prophets have seen vain and foolish things for thee: and they have not discovered thine iniquity, to turn away thy captivity; but have seen for thee false burdens and causes of banishment. |
נְבִיאַיִךְ חָזוּ לָךְ שָׁוְא וְתָפֵל וְלֹא־גִלּוּ עַל־עֲוֹנֵךְ לְהָשִׁיב [שְׁבִיתֵךְ כ] (שְׁבוּתֵךְ ק) וַיֶּחֱזוּ לָךְ מַשְׂאֹות שָׁוְא וּמַדּוּחִים׃ ס |
| 15. Todos los que pasaban por el camino batieron las manos sobre ti; Silbaron, y movieron despectivamente sus cabezas sobre la hija de Jerusalén, diciendo: ¿Es esta la ciudad que decían de perfecta hermosura, el gozo de toda la tierra? |
All that pass by clap their hands at thee; they hiss and wag their head at the daughter of Jerusalem, saying, Is this the city that men call The perfection of beauty, The joy of the whole earth? |
סָפְקוּ עָלַיִךְ כַּפַּיִם כָּל־עֹבְרֵי דֶרֶךְ שָׁרְקוּ וַיָּנִעוּ רֹאשָׁם עַל־בַּת יְרוּשָׁלִָם הֲזֹאת הָעִיר שֶׁיֹּאמְרוּ כְּלִילַת יֹפִי מָשֹׂושׂ לְכָל־הָאָרֶץ׃ ס |
| 16. Todos tus enemigos abrieron contra ti su boca; Se burlaron, y crujieron los dientes; dijeron: Devorémosla; Ciertamente este es el día que esperábamos; lo hemos hallado, lo hemos visto. |
All thine enemies have opened their mouth against thee: they hiss and gnash the teeth: they say, We have swallowed her up: certainly this is the day that we looked for; we have found, we have seen it. |
פָּצוּ עָלַיִךְ פִּיהֶם כָּל־אֹויְבַיִךְ שָׁרְקוּ וַיַּחַרְקוּ־שֵׁן אָמְרוּ בִּלָּעְנוּ אַךְ זֶה הַיֹּום שֶׁקִּוִּינֻהוּ מָצָאנוּ רָאִינוּ׃ ס |
| 17. Jehová ha hecho lo que tenía determinado; Ha cumplido su palabra, la cual él había mandado desde tiempo antiguo. Destruyó, y no perdonó; Y ha hecho que el enemigo se alegre sobre ti, Y enalteció el poder de tus adversarios. |
The LORD hath done that which he had devised; he hath fulfilled his word that he had commanded in the days of old: he hath thrown down, and hath not pitied: and he hath caused thine enemy to rejoice over thee, he hath set up the horn of thine adversaries. |
עָשָׂה יְהוָה אֲשֶׁר זָמָם בִּצַּע אֶמְרָתֹו אֲשֶׁר צִוָּה מִימֵי־קֶדֶם הָרַס וְלֹא חָמָל וַיְשַׂמַּח עָלַיִךְ אֹויֵב הֵרִים קֶרֶן צָרָיִךְ׃ ס |
| 18. El corazón de ellos clamaba al Señor; Oh hija de Sion, echa lágrimas cual arroyo día y noche; No descanses, ni cesen las niñas de tus ojos. |
Their heart cried unto the Lord, O wall of the daughter of Zion, let tears run down like a river day and night: give thyself no rest; let not the apple of thine eye cease. |
צָעַק לִבָּם אֶל־אֲדֹנָי חֹומַת בַּת־צִיֹּון הֹורִידִי כַנַּחַל דִּמְעָה יֹומָם וָלַיְלָה אַל־תִּתְּנִי פוּגַת לָךְ אַל־תִּדֹּם בַּת־עֵינֵךְ׃ ס |
| 19. Levántate, da voces en la noche, al comenzar las vigilias; Derrama como agua tu corazón ante la presencia del Señor; Alza tus manos a él implorando la vida de tus pequeñitos, Que desfallecen de hambre en las entradas de todas las calles. |
Arise, cry out in the night: in the beginning of the watches pour out thine heart like water before the face of the Lord: lift up thy hands toward him for the life of thy young children, that faint for hunger in the top of every street. |
קוּמִי רֹנִּי [בַלַּיִל כ] (בַלַּיְלָה ק) לְרֹאשׁ אַשְׁמֻרֹות שִׁפְכִי כַמַּיִם לִבֵּךְ נֹכַח פְּנֵי אֲדֹנָי שְׂאִי אֵלָיו כַּפַּיִךְ עַל־נֶפֶשׁ עֹולָלַיִךְ הָעֲטוּפִים בְּרָעָב בְּרֹאשׁ כָּל־חוּצֹות׃ ס |
| 20. Mira, oh Jehová, y considera a quién has hecho así. ¿Han de comer las mujeres el fruto de sus entrañas, los pequeñitos a su tierno cuidado? ¿Han de ser muertos en el santuario del Señor el sacerdote y el profeta? |
Behold, O LORD, and consider to whom thou hast done this. Shall the women eat their fruit, and children of a span long? shall the priest and the prophet be slain in the sanctuary of the Lord? |
רְאֵה יְהוָה וְהַבִּיטָה לְמִי עֹולַלְתָּ כֹּה אִם־תֹּאכַלְנָה נָשִׁים פִּרְיָם עֹלֲלֵי טִפֻּחִים אִם־יֵהָרֵג בְּמִקְדַּשׁ אֲדֹנָי כֹּהֵן וְנָבִיא׃ ס |
| 21. Niños y viejos yacían por tierra en las calles; Mis vírgenes y mis jóvenes cayeron a espada; Mataste en el día de tu furor; degollaste, no perdonaste. |
The young and the old lie on the ground in the streets: my virgins and my young men are fallen by the sword; thou hast slain them in the day of thine anger; thou hast killed, and not pitied. |
שָׁכְבוּ לָאָרֶץ חוּצֹות נַעַר וְזָקֵן בְּתוּלֹתַי וּבַחוּרַי נָפְלוּ בֶחָרֶב הָרַגְתָּ בְּיֹום אַפֶּךָ טָבַחְתָּ לֹא חָמָלְתָּ׃ ס |
| 22. Has convocado de todas partes mis temores, como en un día de solemnidad; Y en el día del furor de Jehová no hubo quien escapase ni quedase vivo; Los que crié y mantuve, mi enemigo los acabó. |
Thou hast called as in a solemn day my terrors round about, so that in the day of the LORD'S anger none escaped nor remained: those that I have swaddled and brought up hath mine enemy consumed. |
תִּקְרָא כְיֹום מֹועֵד מְגוּרַי מִסָּבִיב וְלֹא הָיָה בְּיֹום אַף־יְהוָה פָּלִיט וְשָׂרִיד אֲשֶׁר־טִפַּחְתִּי וְרִבִּיתִי אֹיְבִי כִלָּם׃ פ |
| 1. Yo soy el hombre que ha visto aflicción bajo el látigo de su enojo. |
I am the man that hath seen affliction by the rod of his wrath. |
אֲנִי הַגֶּבֶר רָאָה עֳנִי בְּשֵׁבֶט עֶבְרָתֹו׃ |
| 2. Me guió y me llevó en tinieblas, y no en luz; |
He hath led me, and brought me into darkness, but not into light. |
אֹותִי נָהַג וַיֹּלַךְ חֹשֶׁךְ וְלֹא־אֹור׃ |
| 3. Ciertamente contra mí volvió y revolvió su mano todo el día. |
Surely against me is he turned; he turneth his hand against me all the day. |
אַךְ בִּי יָשֻׁב יַהֲפֹךְ יָדֹו כָּל־הַיֹּום׃ ס |
| 4. Hizo envejecer mi carne y mi piel; quebrantó mis huesos; |
My flesh and my skin hath he made old; he hath broken my bones. |
בִּלָּה בְשָׂרִי וְעֹורִי שִׁבַּר עַצְמֹותָי׃ |
| 5. Edificó baluartes contra mí, y me rodeó de amargura y de trabajo. |
He hath builded against me, and compassed me with gall and travail. |
בָּנָה עָלַי וַיַּקַּף רֹאשׁ וּתְלָאָה׃ |
| 6. Me dejó en oscuridad, como los ya muertos de mucho tiempo. |
He hath set me in dark places, as they that be dead of old. |
בְּמַחֲשַׁכִּים הֹושִׁיבַנִי כְּמֵתֵי עֹולָם׃ ס |
| 7. Me cercó por todos lados, y no puedo salir; ha hecho más pesadas mis cadenas; |
He hath hedged me about, that I cannot get out: he hath made my chain heavy. |
גָּדַר בַּעֲדִי וְלֹא אֵצֵא הִכְבִּיד נְחָשְׁתִּי׃ |
| 8. Aun cuando clamé y di voces, cerró los oídos a mi oración; |
Also when I cry and shout, he shutteth out my prayer. |
גַּם כִּי אֶזְעַק וַאֲשַׁוֵּעַ שָׂתַם תְּפִלָּתִי׃ |
| 9. Cercó mis caminos con piedra labrada, torció mis senderos. |
He hath inclosed my ways with hewn stone, he hath made my paths crooked. |
גָּדַר דְּרָכַי בְּגָזִית נְתִיבֹתַי עִוָּה׃ ס |
| 10. Fue para mí como oso que acecha, como león en escondrijos; |
He was unto me as a bear lying in wait, and as a lion in secret places. |
דֹּב אֹרֵב הוּא לִי [אַרְיֵה כ] (אֲרִי ק) בְּמִסְתָּרִים׃ |
| 11. Torció mis caminos, y me despedazó; me dejó desolado. |
He hath turned aside my ways, and pulled me in pieces: he hath made me desolate. |
דְּרָכַי סֹורֵר וַיְפַשְּׁחֵנִי שָׂמַנִי שֹׁמֵם׃ |
| 12. Entesó su arco, y me puso como blanco para la saeta. |
He hath bent his bow, and set me as a mark for the arrow. |
דָּרַךְ קַשְׁתֹּו וַיַּצִּיבֵנִי כַּמַּטָּרָא לַחֵץ׃ ס |
| 13. Hizo entrar en mis entrañas las saetas de su aljaba. |
He hath caused the arrows of his quiver to enter into my reins. |
הֵבִיא בְּכִלְיֹותָי בְּנֵי אַשְׁפָּתֹו׃ |
| 14. Fui escarnio a todo mi pueblo, burla de ellos todos los días; |
I was a derision to all my people; and their song all the day. |
הָיִיתִי שְּׂחֹק לְכָל־עַמִּי נְגִינָתָם כָּל־הַיֹּום׃ |
| 15. Me llenó de amarguras, me embriagó de ajenjos. |
He hath filled me with bitterness, he hath made me drunken with wormwood. |
הִשְׂבִּיעַנִי בַמְּרֹורִים הִרְוַנִי לַעֲנָה׃ ס |
| 16. Mis dientes quebró con cascajo, me cubrió de ceniza; |
He hath also broken my teeth with gravel stones, he hath covered me with ashes. |
וַיַּגְרֵס בֶּחָצָץ שִׁנָּי הִכְפִּישַׁנִי בָּאֵפֶר׃ |
| 17. Y mi alma se alejó de la paz, me olvidé del bien, |
And thou hast removed my soul far off from peace: I forgat prosperity. |
וַתִּזְנַח מִשָּׁלֹום נַפְשִׁי נָשִׁיתִי טֹובָה׃ |
| 18. Y dije: Perecieron mis fuerzas, y mi esperanza en Jehová. |
And I said, My strength and my hope is perished from the LORD: |
וָאֹמַר אָבַד נִצְחִי וְתֹוחַלְתִּי מֵיְהוָה׃ ס |
| 19. Acuérdate de mi aflicción y de mi abatimiento, del ajenjo y de la hiel; |
Remembering mine affliction and my misery, the wormwood and the gall. |
זְכָר־עָנְיִי וּמְרוּדִי לַעֲנָה וָרֹאשׁ׃ |
| 20. Lo tendré aún en memoria, porque mi alma está abatida dentro de mí; |
My soul hath them still in remembrance, and is humbled in me. |
זָכֹור תִּזְכֹּור [וְתָשִׁיחַ כ] (וְתָשֹׁוחַ ק) עָלַי נַפְשִׁי׃ |
| 21. Esto recapacitaré en mi corazón, por lo tanto esperaré. |
This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. |
זֹאת אָשִׁיב אֶל־לִבִּי עַל־כֵּן אֹוחִיל׃ ס |
| 22. Por la misericordia de Jehová no hemos sido consumidos, porque nunca decayeron sus misericordias. |
It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. |
חַסְדֵי יְהוָה כִּי לֹא־תָמְנוּ כִּי לֹא־כָלוּ רַחֲמָיו׃ |
| 23. Nuevas son cada mañana; grande es tu fidelidad. |
They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. |
חֲדָשִׁים לַבְּקָרִים רַבָּה אֱמוּנָתֶךָ׃ |
| 24. Mi porción es Jehová, dijo mi alma; por tanto, en él esperaré. |
The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. |
חֶלְקִי יְהוָה אָמְרָה נַפְשִׁי עַל־כֵּן אֹוחִיל לֹו׃ ס |
| 25. Bueno es Jehová a los que en él esperan, al alma que le busca. |
The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. |
טֹוב יְהוָה לְקֹוָו לְנֶפֶשׁ תִּדְרְשֶׁנּוּ׃ |
| 26. Bueno es esperar en silencio la salvación de Jehová. |
It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD. |
טֹוב וְיָחִיל וְדוּמָם לִתְשׁוּעַת יְהוָה׃ |
| 27. Bueno le es al hombre llevar el yugo desde su juventud. |
It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth. |
טֹוב לַגֶּבֶר כִּי־יִשָּׂא עֹל בִּנְעוּרָיו׃ ס |
| 28. Que se siente solo y calle, porque es Dios quien se lo impuso; |
He sitteth alone and keepeth silence, because he hath borne it upon him. |
יֵשֵׁב בָּדָד וְיִדֹּם כִּי נָטַל עָלָיו׃ |
| 29. Ponga su boca en el polvo, por si aún hay esperanza; |
He putteth his mouth in the dust; if so be there may be hope. |
יִתֵּן בֶּעָפָר פִּיהוּ אוּלַי יֵשׁ תִּקְוָה׃ |
| 30. Dé la mejilla al que le hiere, y sea colmado de afrentas. |
He giveth his cheek to him that smiteth him: he is filled full with reproach. |
יִתֵּן לְמַכֵּהוּ לֶחִי יִשְׂבַּע בְּחֶרְפָּה׃ ס |
| 31. Porque el Señor no desecha para siempre; |
For the Lord will not cast off for ever: |
כִּי לֹא יִזְנַח לְעֹולָם אֲדֹנָי׃ |
| 32. Antes si aflige, también se compadece según la multitud de sus misericordias; |
But though he cause grief, yet will he have compassion according to the multitude of his mercies. |
כִּי אִם־הֹוגָה וְרִחַם כְּרֹב [חַסְדֹּו כ] (חֲסָדָיו׃ ק) |
| 33. Porque no aflige ni entristece voluntariamente a los hijos de los hombres. |
For he doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men. |
כִּי לֹא עִנָּה מִלִּבֹּו וַיַּגֶּה בְּנֵי־אִישׁ׃ ס |
| 34. Desmenuzar bajo los pies a todos los encarcelados de la tierra, |
To crush under his feet all the prisoners of the earth, |
לְדַכֵּא תַּחַת רַגְלָיו כֹּל אֲסִירֵי אָרֶץ׃ |
| 35. Torcer el derecho del hombre delante de la presencia del Altísimo, |
To turn aside the right of a man before the face of the most High, |
לְהַטֹּות מִשְׁפַּט־גָּבֶר נֶגֶד פְּנֵי עֶלְיֹון׃ |
| 36. Trastornar al hombre en su causa, el Señor no lo aprueba. |
To subvert a man in his cause, the Lord approveth not. |
לְעַוֵּת אָדָם בְּרִיבֹו אֲדֹנָי לֹא רָאָה׃ ס |
| 37. ¿Quién será aquel que diga que sucedió algo que el Señor no mandó? |
Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth it not? |
מִי זֶה אָמַר וַתֶּהִי אֲדֹנָי לֹא צִוָּה׃ |
| 38. ¿De la boca del Altísimo no sale lo malo y lo bueno? |
Out of the mouth of the most High proceedeth not evil and good? |
מִפִּי עֶלְיֹון לֹא תֵצֵא הָרָעֹות וְהַטֹּוב׃ |
| 39. ¿Por qué se lamenta el hombre viviente? Laméntese el hombre en su pecado. |
Wherefore doth a living man complain, a man for the punishment of his sins? |
מַה־יִּתְאֹונֵן אָדָם חָי גֶּבֶר עַל־ [חֶטְאֹו כ] (חֲטָאָיו׃ ק) ס |
| 40. Escudriñemos nuestros caminos, y busquemos, y volvámonos a Jehová; |
Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the LORD. |
נַחְפְּשָׂה דְרָכֵינוּ וְנַחְקֹרָה וְנָשׁוּבָה עַד־יְהוָה׃ |
| 41. Levantemos nuestros corazones y manos a Dios en los cielos; |
Let us lift up our heart with our hands unto God in the heavens. |
נִשָּׂא לְבָבֵנוּ אֶל־כַּפָּיִם אֶל־אֵל בַּשָּׁמָיִם׃ |
| 42. Nosotros nos hemos rebelado, y fuimos desleales; tú no perdonaste. |
We have transgressed and have rebelled: thou hast not pardoned. |
נַחְנוּ פָשַׁעְנוּ וּמָרִינוּ אַתָּה לֹא סָלָחְתָּ׃ ס |
| 43. Desplegaste la ira y nos perseguiste; mataste, y no perdonaste; |
Thou hast covered with anger, and persecuted us: thou hast slain, thou hast not pitied. |
סַכֹּתָה בָאַף וַתִּרְדְּפֵנוּ הָרַגְתָּ לֹא חָמָלְתָּ׃ |
| 44. Te cubriste de nube para que no pasase la oración nuestra; |
Thou hast covered thyself with a cloud, that our prayer should not pass through. |
סַכֹּותָה בֶעָנָן לָךְ מֵעֲבֹור תְּפִלָּה׃ |
| 45. Nos volviste en oprobio y abominación en medio de los pueblos. |
Thou hast made us as the offscouring and refuse in the midst of the people. |
סְחִי וּמָאֹוס תְּשִׂימֵנוּ בְּקֶרֶב הָעַמִּים׃ ס |
| 46. Todos nuestros enemigos abrieron contra nosotros su boca; |
All our enemies have opened their mouths against us. |
פָּצוּ עָלֵינוּ פִּיהֶם כָּל־אֹיְבֵינוּ׃ |
| 47. Temor y lazo fueron para nosotros, asolamiento y quebranto; |
Fear and a snare is come upon us, desolation and destruction. |
פַּחַד וָפַחַת הָיָה לָנוּ הַשֵּׁאת וְהַשָּׁבֶר׃ |
| 48. Ríos de aguas echan mis ojos por el quebrantamiento de la hija de mi pueblo. |
Mine eye runneth down with rivers of water for the destruction of the daughter of my people. |
פַּלְגֵי־מַיִם תֵּרַד עֵינִי עַל־שֶׁבֶר בַּת־עַמִּי׃ ס |
| 49. Mis ojos destilan y no cesan, porque no hay alivio |
Mine eye trickleth down, and ceaseth not, without any intermission, |
עֵינִי נִגְּרָה וְלֹא תִדְמֶה מֵאֵין הֲפֻגֹות׃ |
| 50. Hasta que Jehová mire y vea desde los cielos; |
Till the LORD look down, and behold from heaven. |
עַד־יַשְׁקִיף וְיֵרֶא יְהוָה מִשָּׁמָיִם׃ |
| 51. Mis ojos contristaron mi alma por todas las hijas de mi ciudad. |
Mine eye affecteth mine heart because of all the daughters of my city. |
עֵינִי עֹולְלָה לְנַפְשִׁי מִכֹּל בְּנֹות עִירִי׃ ס |
| 52. Mis enemigos me dieron caza como a ave, sin haber por qué; |
Mine enemies chased me sore, like a bird, without cause. |
צֹוד צָדוּנִי כַּצִּפֹּור אֹיְבַי חִנָּם׃ |
| 53. Ataron mi vida en cisterna, pusieron piedra sobre mí; |
They have cut off my life in the dungeon, and cast a stone upon me. |
צָמְתוּ בַבֹּור חַיָּי וַיַּדּוּ־אֶבֶן בִּי׃ |
| 54. Aguas cubrieron mi cabeza; yo dije: Muerto soy. |
Waters flowed over mine head; then I said, I am cut off. |
צָפוּ־מַיִם עַל־רֹאשִׁי אָמַרְתִּי נִגְזָרְתִּי׃ ס |
| 55. Invoqué tu nombre, oh Jehová, desde la cárcel profunda; |
I called upon thy name, O LORD, out of the low dungeon. |
קָרָאתִי שִׁמְךָ יְהוָה מִבֹּור תַּחְתִּיֹּות׃ |
| 56. Oíste mi voz; no escondas tu oído al clamor de mis suspiros. |
Thou hast heard my voice: hide not thine ear at my breathing, at my cry. |
קֹולִי שָׁמָעְתָּ אַל־תַּעְלֵם אָזְנְךָ לְרַוְחָתִי לְשַׁוְעָתִי׃ |
| 57. Te acercaste el día que te invoqué; dijiste: No temas. |
Thou drewest near in the day that I called upon thee: thou saidst, Fear not. |
קָרַבְתָּ בְּיֹום אֶקְרָאֶךָּ אָמַרְתָּ אַל־תִּירָא׃ ס |
| 58. Abogaste, Señor, la causa de mi alma; redimiste mi vida. |
O Lord, thou hast pleaded the causes of my soul; thou hast redeemed my life. |
רַבְתָּ אֲדֹנָי רִיבֵי נַפְשִׁי גָּאַלְתָּ חַיָּי׃ |
| 59. Tú has visto, oh Jehová, mi agravio; defiende mi causa. |
O LORD, thou hast seen my wrong: judge thou my cause. |
רָאִיתָה יְהוָה עַוָּתָתִי שָׁפְטָה מִשְׁפָּטִי׃ |
| 60. Has visto toda su venganza, todos sus pensamientos contra mí. |
Thou hast seen all their vengeance and all their imaginations against me. |
רָאִיתָה כָּל־נִקְמָתָם כָּל־מַחְשְׁבֹתָם לִי׃ ס |
| 61. Has oído el oprobio de ellos, oh Jehová, todas sus maquinaciones contra mí; |
Thou hast heard their reproach, O LORD, and all their imaginations against me; |
שָׁמַעְתָּ חֶרְפָּתָם יְהוָה כָּל־מַחְשְׁבֹתָם עָלָי׃ |
| 62. Los dichos de los que contra mí se levantaron, y su designio contra mí todo el día. |
The lips of those that rose up against me, and their device against me all the day. |
שִׂפְתֵי קָמַי וְהֶגְיֹונָם עָלַי כָּל־הַיֹּום׃ |
| 63. Su sentarse y su levantarse mira; yo soy su canción. |
Behold their sitting down, and their rising up; I am their musick. |
שִׁבְתָּם וְקִימָתָם הַבִּיטָה אֲנִי מַנְגִּינָתָם׃ ס |
| 64. Dales el pago, oh Jehová, según la obra de sus manos. |
Render unto them a recompence, O LORD, according to the work of their hands. |
תָּשִׁיב לָהֶם גְּמוּל יְהוָה כְּמַעֲשֵׂה יְדֵיהֶם׃ |
| 65. Entrégalos al endurecimiento de corazón; tu maldición caiga sobre ellos. |
Give them sorrow of heart, thy curse unto them. |
תִּתֵּן לָהֶם מְגִנַּת־לֵב תַּאֲלָתְךָ לָהֶם׃ |
| 66. Persíguelos en tu furor, y quebrántalos de debajo de los cielos, oh Jehová. |
Persecute and destroy them in anger from under the heavens of the LORD. |
תִּרְדֹּף בְּאַף וְתַשְׁמִידֵם מִתַּחַת שְׁמֵי יְהוָה׃ פ |
| 1. ¡Cómo se ha ennegrecido el oro! ¡Cómo el buen oro ha perdido su brillo! Las piedras del santuario están esparcidas por las encrucijadas de todas las calles. |
How is the gold become dim! how is the most fine gold changed! the stones of the sanctuary are poured out in the top of every street. |
אֵיכָה יוּעַם זָהָב יִשְׁנֶא הַכֶּתֶם הַטֹּוב תִּשְׁתַּפֵּכְנָה אַבְנֵי־קֹדֶשׁ בְּרֹאשׁ כָּל־חוּצֹות׃ ס |
| 2. Los hijos de Sion, preciados y estimados más que el oro puro, ¡Cómo son tenidos por vasijas de barro, obra de manos de alfarero! |
The precious sons of Zion, comparable to fine gold, how are they esteemed as earthen pitchers, the work of the hands of the potter! |
בְּנֵי צִיֹּון הַיְקָרִים הַמְסֻלָּאִים בַּפָּז אֵיכָה נֶחְשְׁבוּ לְנִבְלֵי־חֶרֶשׂ מַעֲשֵׂה יְדֵי יֹוצֵר׃ ס |
| 3. Aun los chacales dan la teta, y amamantan a sus cachorros; La hija de mi pueblo es cruel como los avestruces en el desierto. |
Even the sea monsters draw out the breast, they give suck to their young ones: the daughter of my people is become cruel, like the ostriches in the wilderness. |
גַּם־ [תַּנִּין כ] (תַּנִּים ק) חָלְצוּ שַׁד הֵינִיקוּ גּוּרֵיהֶן בַּת־עַמִּי לְאַכְזָר [כִּי כ] [עֵנִים כ] (כַּיְעֵנִים ק) בַּמִּדְבָּר׃ ס |
| 4. La lengua del niño de pecho se pegó a su paladar por la sed; Los pequeñuelos pidieron pan, y no hubo quien se lo repartiese. |
The tongue of the sucking child cleaveth to the roof of his mouth for thirst: the young children ask bread, and no man breaketh it unto them. |
דָּבַק לְשֹׁון יֹונֵק אֶל־חִכֹּו בַּצָּמָא עֹולָלִים שָׁאֲלוּ לֶחֶם פֹּרֵשׂ אֵין לָהֶם׃ ס |
| 5. Los que comían delicadamente fueron asolados en las calles; Los que se criaron entre púrpura se abrazaron a los estercoleros. |
They that did feed delicately are desolate in the streets: they that were brought up in scarlet embrace dunghills. |
הָאֹכְלִים לְמַעֲדַנִּים נָשַׁמּוּ בַּחוּצֹות הָאֱמֻנִים עֲלֵי תֹולָע חִבְּקוּ אַשְׁפַּתֹּות׃ ס |
| 6. Porque se aumentó la iniquidad de la hija de mi pueblo más que el pecado de Sodoma, Que fue destruida en un momento, sin que acamparan contra ella compañías. |
For the punishment of the iniquity of the daughter of my people is greater than the punishment of the sin of Sodom, that was overthrown as in a moment, and no hands stayed on her. |
וַיִּגְדַּל עֲוֹן בַּת־עַמִּי מֵחַטַּאת סְדֹם הַהֲפוּכָה כְמֹו־רָגַע וְלֹא־חָלוּ בָהּ יָדָיִם׃ ס |
| 7. Sus nobles fueron más puros que la nieve, más blancos que la leche; Más rubios eran sus cuerpos que el coral, su talle más hermoso que el zafiro. |
Her Nazarites were purer than snow, they were whiter than milk, they were more ruddy in body than rubies, their polishing was of sapphire: |
זַכּוּ נְזִירֶיהָ מִשֶּׁלֶג צַחוּ מֵחָלָב אָדְמוּ עֶצֶם מִפְּנִינִים סַפִּיר גִּזְרָתָם׃ ס |
| 8. Oscuro más que la negrura es su aspecto; no los conocen por las calles; Su piel está pegada a sus huesos, seca como un palo. |
Their visage is blacker than a coal; they are not known in the streets: their skin cleaveth to their bones; it is withered, it is become like a stick. |
חָשַׁךְ מִשְּׁחֹור תָּאֳרָם לֹא נִכְּרוּ בַּחוּצֹות צָפַד עֹורָם עַל־עַצְמָם יָבֵשׁ הָיָה כָעֵץ׃ ס |
| 9. Más dichosos fueron los muertos a espada que los muertos por el hambre; Porque éstos murieron poco a poco por falta de los frutos de la tierra. |
They that be slain with the sword are better than they that be slain with hunger: for these pine away, stricken through for want of the fruits of the field. |
טֹובִים הָיוּ חַלְלֵי־חֶרֶב מֵחַלְלֵי רָעָב שֶׁהֵם יָזוּבוּ מְדֻקָּרִים מִתְּנוּבֹת שָׂדָי׃ ס |
| 10. Las manos de mujeres piadosas cocieron a sus hijos; Sus propios hijos les sirvieron de comida en el día del quebrantamiento de la hija de mi pueblo. |
The hands of the pitiful women have sodden their own children: they were their meat in the destruction of the daughter of my people. |
יְדֵי נָשִׁים רַחֲמָנִיֹּות בִּשְּׁלוּ יַלְדֵיהֶן הָיוּ לְבָרֹות לָמֹו בְּשֶׁבֶר בַּת־עַמִּי׃ ס |
| 11. Cumplió Jehová su enojo, derramó el ardor de su ira; Y encendió en Sion fuego que consumió hasta sus cimientos. |
The LORD hath accomplished his fury; he hath poured out his fierce anger, and hath kindled a fire in Zion, and it hath devoured the foundations thereof. |
כִּלָּה יְהוָה אֶת־חֲמָתֹו שָׁפַךְ חֲרֹון אַפֹּו וַיַּצֶּת־אֵשׁ בְּצִיֹּון וַתֹּאכַל יְסֹודֹתֶיהָ׃ ס |
| 12. Nunca los reyes de la tierra, ni todos los que habitan en el mundo, Creyeron que el enemigo y el adversario entrara por las puertas de Jerusalén. |
The kings of the earth, and all the inhabitants of the world, would not have believed that the adversary and the enemy should have entered into the gates of Jerusalem. |
לֹא הֶאֱמִינוּ מַלְכֵי־אֶרֶץ [וְכֹל כ] (כֹּל ק) יֹשְׁבֵי תֵבֵל כִּי יָבֹא צַר וְאֹויֵב בְּשַׁעֲרֵי יְרוּשָׁלִָם׃ ס |
| 13. Es por causa de los pecados de sus profetas, y las maldades de sus sacerdotes, Quienes derramaron en medio de ella la sangre de los justos. |
For the sins of her prophets, and the iniquities of her priests, that have shed the blood of the just in the midst of her, |
מֵחַטֹּאת נְבִיאֶיהָ עֲוֹנֹות כֹּהֲנֶיהָ הַשֹּׁפְכִים בְּקִרְבָּהּ דַּם צַדִּיקִים׃ ס |
| 14. Titubearon como ciegos en las calles, fueron contaminados con sangre, De modo que no pudiesen tocarse sus vestiduras. |
They have wandered as blind men in the streets, they have polluted themselves with blood, so that men could not touch their garments. |
נָעוּ עִוְרִים בַּחוּצֹות נְגֹאֲלוּ בַּדָּם בְּלֹא יוּכְלוּ יִגְּעוּ בִּלְבֻשֵׁיהֶם׃ ס |
| 15. ¡Apartaos! ¡Inmundos! les gritaban; ¡Apartaos, apartaos, no toquéis! Huyeron y fueron dispersados; se dijo entre las naciones: Nunca más morarán aquí. |
They cried unto them, Depart ye; it is unclean; depart, depart, touch not: when they fled away and wandered, they said among the heathen, They shall no more sojourn there. |
סוּרוּ טָמֵא קָרְאוּ לָמֹו סוּרוּ סוּרוּ אַל־תִּגָּעוּ כִּי נָצוּ גַּם־נָעוּ אָמְרוּ בַּגֹּויִם לֹא יֹוסִיפוּ לָגוּר׃ ס |
| 16. La ira de Jehová los apartó, no los mirará más; No respetaron la presencia de los sacerdotes, ni tuvieron compasión de los viejos. |
The anger of the LORD hath divided them; he will no more regard them: they respected not the persons of the priests, they favoured not the elders. |
פְּנֵי יְהוָה חִלְּקָם לֹא יֹוסִיף לְהַבִּיטָם פְּנֵי כֹהֲנִים לֹא נָשָׂאוּ [זְקֵנִים כ] (וּזְקֵנִים ק) לֹא חָנָנוּ׃ ס |
| 17. Aun han desfallecido nuestros ojos esperando en vano nuestro socorro; En nuestra esperanza aguardamos a una nación que no puede salvar. |
As for us, our eyes as yet failed for our vain help: in our watching we have watched for a nation that could not save us. |
[עֹודֵינָה כ] (עֹודֵינוּ ק) תִּכְלֶינָה עֵינֵינוּ אֶל־עֶזְרָתֵנוּ הָבֶל בְּצִפִּיָּתֵנוּ צִפִּינוּ אֶל־גֹּוי לֹא יֹושִׁעַ׃ ס |
| 18. Cazaron nuestros pasos, para que no anduviésemos por nuestras calles; Se acercó nuestro fin, se cumplieron nuestros días; porque llegó nuestro fin. |
They hunt our steps, that we cannot go in our streets: our end is near, our days are fulfilled; for our end is come. |
צָדוּ צְעָדֵינוּ מִלֶּכֶת בִּרְחֹבֹתֵינוּ קָרַב קִצֵּינוּ מָלְאוּ יָמֵינוּ כִּי־בָא קִצֵּינוּ׃ ס |
| 19. Ligeros fueron nuestros perseguidores más que las águilas del cielo; Sobre los montes nos persiguieron, en el desierto nos pusieron emboscadas. |
Our persecutors are swifter than the eagles of the heaven: they pursued us upon the mountains, they laid wait for us in the wilderness. |
קַלִּים הָיוּ רֹדְפֵינוּ מִנִּשְׁרֵי שָׁמָיִם עַל־הֶהָרִים דְּלָקֻנוּ בַּמִּדְבָּר אָרְבוּ לָנוּ׃ ס |
| 20. El aliento de nuestras vidas, el ungido de Jehová, De quien habíamos dicho: A su sombra tendremos vida entre las naciones, fue apresado en sus lazos. |
The breath of our nostrils, the anointed of the LORD, was taken in their pits, of whom we said, Under his shadow we shall live among the heathen. |
רוּחַ אַפֵּינוּ מְשִׁיחַ יְהוָה נִלְכַּד בִּשְׁחִיתֹותָם אֲשֶׁר אָמַרְנוּ בְּצִלֹּו נִחְיֶה בַגֹּויִם׃ ס |
| 21. Gózate y alégrate, hija de Edom, la que habitas en tierra de Uz; Aun hasta ti llegará la copa; te embriagarás, y vomitarás. |
Rejoice and be glad, O daughter of Edom, that dwellest in the land of Uz; the cup also shall pass through unto thee: thou shalt be drunken, and shalt make thyself naked. |
שִׂישִׂי וְשִׂמְחִי בַּת־אֱדֹום [יֹושַׁבְתִּי כ] (יֹושֶׁבֶת ק) בְּאֶרֶץ עוּץ גַּם־עָלַיִךְ תַּעֲבָר־כֹּוס תִּשְׁכְּרִי וְתִתְעָרִי׃ ס |
| 22. Se ha cumplido tu castigo, oh hija de Sion; Nunca más te hará llevar cautiva. Castigará tu iniquidad, oh hija de Edom; Descubrirá tus pecados. |
The punishment of thine iniquity is accomplished, O daughter of Zion; he will no more carry thee away into captivity: he will visit thine iniquity, O daughter of Edom; he will discover thy sins. |
תַּם־עֲוֹנֵךְ בַּת־צִיֹּון לֹא יֹוסִיף לְהַגְלֹותֵךְ פָּקַד עֲוֹנֵךְ בַּת־אֱדֹום גִּלָּה עַל־חַטֹּאתָיִךְ׃ פ |
| 1. Acuérdate, oh Jehová, de lo que nos ha sucedido; Mira, y ve nuestro oprobio. |
Remember, O LORD, what is come upon us: consider, and behold our reproach. |
זְכֹר יְהוָה מֶה־הָיָה לָנוּ [הַבֵּיט כ] (הַבִּיטָה ק) וּרְאֵה אֶת־חֶרְפָּתֵנוּ׃ |
| 2. Nuestra heredad ha pasado a extraños, Nuestras casas a forasteros. |
Our inheritance is turned to strangers, our houses to aliens. |
נַחֲלָתֵנוּ נֶהֶפְכָה לְזָרִים בָּתֵּינוּ לְנָכְרִים׃ |
| 3. Huérfanos somos sin padre; Nuestras madres son como viudas. |
We are orphans and fatherless, our mothers are as widows. |
יְתֹומִים הָיִינוּ [אֵין כ] (וְאֵין ק) אָב אִמֹּתֵינוּ כְּאַלְמָנֹות׃ |
| 4. Nuestra agua bebemos por dinero; Compramos nuestra leña por precio. |
We have drunken our water for money; our wood is sold unto us. |
מֵימֵינוּ בְּכֶסֶף שָׁתִינוּ עֵצֵינוּ בִּמְחִיר יָבֹאוּ׃ |
| 5. Padecemos persecución sobre nosotros; Nos fatigamos, y no hay para nosotros reposo. |
Our necks are under persecution: we labour, and have no rest. |
עַל צַוָּארֵנוּ נִרְדָּפְנוּ יָגַעְנוּ [לֹא כ] (וְלֹא ק) הוּנַח־לָנוּ׃ |
| 6. Al egipcio y al asirio extendimos la mano, para saciarnos de pan. |
We have given the hand to the Egyptians, and to the Assyrians, to be satisfied with bread. |
מִצְרַיִם נָתַנּוּ יָד אַשּׁוּר לִשְׂבֹּעַ לָחֶם׃ |
| 7. Nuestros padres pecaron, y han muerto; Y nosotros llevamos su castigo. |
Our fathers have sinned, and are not; and we have borne their iniquities. |
אֲבֹתֵינוּ חָטְאוּ [אֵינָם כ] (וְאֵינָם ק) [אֲנַחְנוּ כ] (וַאֲנַחְנוּ ק) עֲוֹנֹתֵיהֶם סָבָלְנוּ׃ |
| 8. Siervos se enseñorearon de nosotros; No hubo quien nos librase de su mano. |
Servants have ruled over us: there is none that doth deliver us out of their hand. |
עֲבָדִים מָשְׁלוּ בָנוּ פֹּרֵק אֵין מִיָּדָם׃ |
| 9. Con peligro de nuestras vidas traíamos nuestro pan Ante la espada del desierto. |
We gat our bread with the peril of our lives because of the sword of the wilderness. |
בְּנַפְשֵׁנוּ נָבִיא לַחְמֵנוּ מִפְּנֵי חֶרֶב הַמִּדְבָּר׃ |
| 10. Nuestra piel se ennegreció como un horno A causa del ardor del hambre. |
Our skin was black like an oven because of the terrible famine. |
עֹורֵנוּ כְּתַנּוּר נִכְמָרוּ מִפְּנֵי זַלְעֲפֹות רָעָב׃ |
| 11. Violaron a las mujeres en Sion, A las vírgenes en las ciudades de Judá. |
They ravished the women in Zion, and the maids in the cities of Judah. |
נָשִׁים בְּצִיֹּון עִנּוּ בְּתֻלֹת בְּעָרֵי יְהוּדָה׃ |
| 12. A los príncipes colgaron de las manos; No respetaron el rostro de los viejos. |
Princes are hanged up by their hand: the faces of elders were not honoured. |
שָׂרִים בְּיָדָם נִתְלוּ פְּנֵי זְקֵנִים לֹא נֶהְדָּרוּ׃ |
| 13. Llevaron a los jóvenes a moler, Y los muchachos desfallecieron bajo el peso de la leña. |
They took the young men to grind, and the children fell under the wood. |
בַּחוּרִים טְחֹון נָשָׂאוּ וּנְעָרִים בָּעֵץ כָּשָׁלוּ׃ |
| 14. Los ancianos no se ven más en la puerta, Los jóvenes dejaron sus canciones. |
The elders have ceased from the gate, the young men from their musick. |
זְקֵנִים מִשַּׁעַר שָׁבָתוּ בַּחוּרִים מִנְּגִינָתָם׃ |
| 15. Cesó el gozo de nuestro corazón; Nuestra danza se cambió en luto. |
The joy of our heart is ceased; our dance is turned into mourning. |
שָׁבַת מְשֹׂושׂ לִבֵּנוּ נֶהְפַּךְ לְאֵבֶל מְחֹלֵנוּ׃ |
| 16. Cayó la corona de nuestra cabeza; ¡Ay ahora de nosotros! porque pecamos. |
The crown is fallen from our head: woe unto us, that we have sinned! |
נָפְלָה עֲטֶרֶת רֹאשֵׁנוּ אֹוי־נָא לָנוּ כִּי חָטָאנוּ׃ |
| 17. Por esto fue entristecido nuestro corazón, Por esto se entenebrecieron nuestros ojos, |
For this our heart is faint; for these things our eyes are dim. |
עַל־זֶה הָיָה דָוֶה לִבֵּנוּ עַל־אֵלֶּה חָשְׁכוּ עֵינֵינוּ׃ |
| 18. Por el monte de Sion que está asolado; Zorras andan por él. |
Because of the mountain of Zion, which is desolate, the foxes walk upon it. |
עַל הַר־צִיֹּון שֶׁשָּׁמֵם שׁוּעָלִים הִלְּכוּ־בֹו׃ פ |
| 19. Mas tú, Jehová, permanecerás para siempre; Tu trono de generación en generación. |
Thou, O LORD, remainest for ever; thy throne from generation to generation. |
אַתָּה יְהוָה לְעֹולָם תֵּשֵׁב כִּסְאֲךָ לְדֹר וָדֹור׃ |
| 20. ¿Por qué te olvidas completamente de nosotros, Y nos abandonas tan largo tiempo? |
Wherefore dost thou forget us for ever, and forsake us so long time? |
לָמָּה לָנֶצַח תִּשְׁכָּחֵנוּ תַּעַזְבֵנוּ לְאֹרֶךְ יָמִים׃ |
| 21. Vuélvenos, oh Jehová, a ti, y nos volveremos; Renueva nuestros días como al principio. |
Turn thou us unto thee, O LORD, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old. |
הֲשִׁיבֵנוּ יְהוָה אֵלֶיךָ [וְנָשׁוּב כ] (וְנָשׁוּבָה ק) חַדֵּשׁ יָמֵינוּ כְּקֶדֶם׃ |
| 22. Porque nos has desechado; Te has airado contra nosotros en gran manera. |
But thou hast utterly rejected us; thou art very wroth against us. |
כִּי אִם־מָאֹס מְאַסְתָּנוּ קָצַפְתָּ עָלֵינוּ עַד־מְאֹד׃ |
