The burden of the word of the LORD to Israel by Malachi. |
מַשָּׂא דְבַר־יְהוָה אֶל־יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּיַד מַלְאָכִי׃ |
| 1:2 Yo os he amado, dice Jehová; y dijisteis: ¿En qué nos amaste? ¿No era Esaú hermano de Jacob? dice Jehová. Y amé a Jacob, |
I have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob's brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob, |
אָהַבְתִּי אֶתְכֶם אָמַר יְהוָה וַאֲמַרְתֶּם בַּמָּה אֲהַבְתָּנוּ הֲלֹוא־אָח עֵשָׂו לְיַעֲקֹב נְאֻם־יְהוָה וָאֹהַב אֶת־יַעֲקֹב׃ |
| 1:3 y a Esaú aborrecí, y convertí sus montes en desolación, y abandoné su heredad para los chacales del desierto. |
And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness. |
וְאֶת־עֵשָׂו שָׂנֵאתִי וָאָשִׂים אֶת־הָרָיו שְׁמָמָה וְאֶת־נַחֲלָתֹו לְתַנֹּות מִדְבָּר׃ |
| 1:4 Cuando Edom dijere: Nos hemos empobrecido, pero volveremos a edificar lo arruinado; así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos: Ellos edificarán, y yo destruiré; y les llamarán territorio de impiedad, y pueblo contra el cual Jehová está indignado para siempre. |
Whereas Edom saith, We are impoverished, but we will return and build the desolate places; thus saith the LORD of hosts, They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall call them, The border of wickedness, and, The people against whom the LORD hath indignation for ever. |
כִּי־תֹאמַר אֱדֹום רֻשַּׁשְׁנוּ וְנָשׁוּב וְנִבְנֶה חֳרָבֹות כֹּה אָמַר יְהוָה צְבָאֹות הֵמָּה יִבְנוּ וַאֲנִי אֶהֱרֹוס וְקָרְאוּ לָהֶם גְּבוּל רִשְׁעָה וְהָעָם אֲשֶׁר־זָעַם יְהוָה עַד־עֹולָם׃ |
| 1:5 Y vuestros ojos lo verán, y diréis: Sea Jehová engrandecido más allá de los límites de Israel. |
And your eyes shall see, and ye shall say, The LORD will be magnified from the border of Israel. |
וְעֵינֵיכֶם תִּרְאֶינָה וְאַתֶּם תֹּאמְרוּ יִגְדַּל יְהוָה מֵעַל לִגְבוּל יִשְׂרָאֵל׃ |
| 1:6 El hijo honra al padre, y el siervo a su señor. Si, pues, soy yo padre, ¿dónde está mi honra? y si soy señor, ¿dónde está mi temor? dice Jehová de los ejércitos a vosotros, oh sacerdotes, que menospreciáis mi nombre. Y decís: ¿En qué hemos menospreciado tu nombre? |
A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? saith the LORD of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name? |
בֵּן יְכַבֵּד אָב וְעֶבֶד אֲדֹנָיו וְאִם־אָב אָנִי אַיֵּה כְבֹודִי וְאִם־אֲדֹונִים אָנִי אַיֵּה מֹורָאִי אָמַר יְהוָה צְבָאֹות לָכֶם הַכֹּהֲנִים בֹּוזֵי שְׁמִי וַאֲמַרְתֶּם בַּמֶּה בָזִינוּ אֶת־שְׁמֶךָ׃ |
| 1:7 En que ofrecéis sobre mi altar pan inmundo. Y dijisteis: ¿En qué te hemos deshonrado? En que pensáis que la mesa de Jehová es despreciable. |
Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar; and ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of the LORD is contemptible. |
מַגִּישִׁים עַל־מִזְבְּחִי לֶחֶם מְגֹאָל וַאֲמַרְתֶּם בַּמֶּה גֵאַלְנוּךָ בֶּאֱמָרְכֶם שֻׁלְחַן יְהוָה נִבְזֶה הוּא׃ |
| 1:8 Y cuando ofrecéis el animal ciego para el sacrificio,¿no es malo? Asimismo cuando ofrecéis el cojo o el enfermo, ¿no es malo? Preséntalo, pues, a tu príncipe; ¿acaso se agradará de ti, o le serás acepto? dice Jehová de los ejércitos. |
And if ye offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? and if ye offer the lame and sick, is it not evil? offer it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee, or accept thy person? saith the LORD of hosts. |
וְכִי־תַגִּשׁוּן עִוֵּר לִזְבֹּחַ אֵין רָע וְכִי תַגִּישׁוּ פִּסֵּחַ וְחֹלֶה אֵין רָע הַקְרִיבֵהוּ נָא לְפֶחָתֶךָ הֲיִרְצְךָ אֹו הֲיִשָּׂא פָנֶיךָ אָמַר יְהוָה צְבָאֹות׃ |
| 1:9 Ahora, pues, orad por el favor de Dios, para que tenga piedad de nosotros. Pero ¿cómo podéis agradarle, si hacéis estas cosas? dice Jehová de los ejércitos. |
And now, I pray you, beseech God that he will be gracious unto us: this hath been by your means: will he regard your persons? saith the LORD of hosts. |
וְעַתָּה חַלּוּ־נָא פְנֵי־אֵל וִיחָנֵנוּ מִיֶּדְכֶם הָיְתָה זֹּאת הֲיִשָּׂא מִכֶּם פָּנִים אָמַר יְהוָה צְבָאֹות׃ |
| 1:10 ¿Quién también hay de vosotros que cierre las puertas o alumbre mi altar de balde? Yo no tengo complacencia en vosotros, dice Jehová de los ejércitos, ni de vuestra mano aceptaré ofrenda. |
Who is there even among you that would shut the doors for nought? neither do ye kindle fire on mine altar for nought. I have no pleasure in you, saith the LORD of hosts, neither will I accept an offering at your hand. |
מִי גַם־בָּכֶם וְיִסְגֹּר דְּלָתַיִם וְלֹא־תָאִירוּ מִזְבְּחִי חִנָּם אֵין־לִי חֵפֶץ בָּכֶם אָמַר יְהוָה צְבָאֹות וּמִנְחָה לֹא־אֶרְצֶה מִיֶּדְכֶם׃ |
| 1:11 Porque desde donde el sol nace hasta donde se pone, es grande mi nombre entre las naciones; y en todo lugar se ofrece a mi nombre incienso y ofrenda limpia, porque grande es mi nombre entre las naciones, dice Jehová de los ejércitos. |
For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith the LORD of hosts. |
כִּי מִמִּזְרַח־שֶׁמֶשׁ וְעַד־מְבֹואֹו גָּדֹול שְׁמִי בַּגֹּויִם וּבְכָל־מָקֹום מֻקְטָר מֻגָּשׁ לִשְׁמִי וּמִנְחָה טְהֹורָה כִּי־גָדֹול שְׁמִי בַּגֹּויִם אָמַר יְהוָה צְבָאֹות׃ |
| 1:12 Y vosotros lo habéis profanado cuando decís: Inmunda es la mesa de Jehová, y cuando decís que su alimento es despreciable. |
But ye have profaned it, in that ye say, The table of the LORD is polluted; and the fruit thereof, even his meat, is contemptible. |
וְאַתֶּם מְחַלְּלִים אֹותֹו בֶּאֱמָרְכֶם שֻׁלְחַן אֲדֹנָי מְגֹאָל הוּא וְנִיבֹו נִבְזֶה אָכְלֹו׃ |
| 1:13 Habéis además dicho: ¡Oh, qué fastidio es esto! y me despreciáis, dice Jehová de los ejércitos; y trajisteis lo hurtado, o cojo, o enfermo, y presentasteis ofrenda. ¿Aceptaré yo eso de vuestra mano? dice Jehová. |
Ye said also, Behold, what a weariness is it! and ye have snuffed at it, saith the LORD of hosts; and ye brought that which was torn, and the lame, and the sick; thus ye brought an offering: should I accept this of your hand? saith the LORD. |
וַאֲמַרְתֶּם הִנֵּה מַתְּלָאָה וְהִפַּחְתֶּם אֹותֹו אָמַר יְהוָה צְבָאֹות וַהֲבֵאתֶם גָּזוּל וְאֶת־הַפִּסֵּחַ וְאֶת־הַחֹולֶה וַהֲבֵאתֶם אֶת־הַמִּנְחָה הַאֶרְצֶה אֹותָהּ מִיֶּדְכֶם אָמַר יְהוָה׃ ס |
| 1:14 Maldito el que engaña, el que teniendo machos en su rebaño, promete, y sacrifica a Jehová lo dañado. Porque yo soy Gran Rey, dice Jehová de los ejércitos, y mi nombre es temible entre las naciones. |
But cursed be the deceiver, which hath in his flock a male, and voweth, and sacrificeth unto the Lord a corrupt thing: for I am a great King, saith the LORD of hosts, and my name is dreadful among the heathen. |
וְאָרוּר נֹוכֵל וְיֵשׁ בְּעֶדְרֹו זָכָר וְנֹדֵר וְזֹבֵחַ מָשְׁחָת לַאדֹנָי כִּי מֶלֶךְ גָּדֹול אָנִי אָמַר יְהוָה צְבָאֹות וּשְׁמִי נֹורָא בַגֹּויִם׃ |
| 2:1 Ahora, pues, oh sacerdotes, para vosotros es este mandamiento. |
And now, O ye priests, this commandment is for you. |
וְעַתָּה אֲלֵיכֶם הַמִּצְוָה הַזֹּאת הַכֹּהֲנִים׃ |
| 2:2 Si no oyereis, y si no decidís de corazón dar gloria a mi nombre, ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, enviaré maldición sobre vosotros, y maldeciré vuestras bendiciones; y aun las he maldecido, porque no os habéis decidido de corazón. |
If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart. |
אִם־לֹא תִשְׁמְעוּ וְאִם־לֹא תָשִׂימוּ עַל־לֵב לָתֵת כָּבֹוד לִשְׁמִי אָמַר יְהוָה צְבָאֹות וְשִׁלַּחְתִּי בָכֶם אֶת־הַמְּאֵרָה וְאָרֹותִי אֶת־בִּרְכֹותֵיכֶם וְגַם אָרֹותִיהָ כִּי אֵינְכֶם שָׂמִים עַל־לֵב׃ |
| 2:3 He aquí, yo os dañaré la sementera, y os echaré al rostro el estiércol, el estiércol de vuestros animales sacrificados, y seréis arrojados juntamente con él. |
Behold, I will corrupt your seed, and spread dung upon your faces, even the dung of your solemn feasts; and one shall take you away with it. |
הִנְנִי גֹעֵר לָכֶם אֶת־הַזֶּרַע וְזֵרִיתִי פֶרֶשׁ עַל־פְּנֵיכֶם פֶּרֶשׁ חַגֵּיכֶם וְנָשָׂא אֶתְכֶם אֵלָיו׃ |
| 2:4 Y sabréis que yo os envié este mandamiento, para que fuese mi pacto con Leví, ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos. |
And ye shall know that I have sent this commandment unto you, that my covenant might be with Levi, saith the LORD of hosts. |
וִידַעְתֶּם כִּי שִׁלַּחְתִּי אֲלֵיכֶם אֵת הַמִּצְוָה הַזֹּאת לִהְיֹות בְּרִיתִי אֶת־לֵוִי אָמַר יְהוָה צְבָאֹות׃ |
| 2:5 Mi pacto con él fue de vida y de paz, las cuales cosas yo le di para que me temiera; y tuvo temor de mí, y delante de mi nombre estuvo humillado. |
My covenant was with him of life and peace; and I gave them to him for the fear wherewith he feared me, and was afraid before my name. |
בְּרִיתִי הָיְתָה אִתֹּו הַחַיִּים וְהַשָּׁלֹום וָאֶתְּנֵם־לֹו מֹורָא וַיִּירָאֵנִי וּמִפְּנֵי שְׁמִי נִחַת הוּא׃ |
| 2:6 La ley de verdad estuvo en su boca, e iniquidad no fue hallada en sus labios; en paz y en justicia anduvo conmigo, y a muchos hizo apartar de la iniquidad. |
The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips: he walked with me in peace and equity, and did turn many away from iniquity. |
תֹּורַת אֱמֶת הָיְתָה בְּפִיהוּ וְעַוְלָה לֹא־נִמְצָא בִשְׂפָתָיו בְּשָׁלֹום וּבְמִישֹׁור הָלַךְ אִתִּי וְרַבִּים הֵשִׁיב מֵעָוֹן׃ |
| 2:7 Porque los labios del sacerdote han de guardar la sabiduría, y de su boca el pueblo buscará la ley; porque mensajero es de Jehová de los ejércitos. |
For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts. |
כִּי־שִׂפְתֵי כֹהֵן יִשְׁמְרוּ־דַעַת וְתֹורָה יְבַקְשׁוּ מִפִּיהוּ כִּי מַלְאַךְ יְהוָה־צְבָאֹות הוּא׃ |
| 2:8 Mas vosotros os habéis apartado del camino; habéis hecho tropezar a muchos en la ley; habéis corrompido el pacto de Leví, dice Jehová de los ejércitos. |
But ye are departed out of the way; ye have caused many to stumble at the law; ye have corrupted the covenant of Levi, saith the LORD of hosts. |
וְאַתֶּם סַרְתֶּם מִן־הַדֶּרֶךְ הִכְשַׁלְתֶּם רַבִּים בַּתֹּורָה שִׁחַתֶּם בְּרִית הַלֵּוִי אָמַר יְהוָה צְבָאֹות׃ |
| 2:9 Por tanto, yo también os he hecho viles y bajos ante todo el pueblo, así como vosotros no habéis guardado mis caminos, y en la ley hacéis acepción de personas. |
Therefore have I also made you contemptible and base before all the people, according as ye have not kept my ways, but have been partial in the law. |
וְגַם־אֲנִי נָתַתִּי אֶתְכֶם נִבְזִים וּשְׁפָלִים לְכָל־הָעָם כְּפִי אֲשֶׁר אֵינְכֶם שֹׁמְרִים אֶת־דְּרָכַי וְנֹשְׂאִים פָּנִים בַּתֹּורָה׃ פ |
| 2:10 ¿No tenemos todos un mismo padre? ¿No nos ha creado un mismo Dios? ¿Por qué, pues, nos portamos deslealmente el uno contra el otro, profanando el pacto de nuestros padres? |
Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us? why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers? |
הֲלֹוא אָב אֶחָד לְכֻלָּנוּ הֲלֹוא אֵל אֶחָד בְּרָאָנוּ מַדּוּעַ נִבְגַּד אִישׁ בְּאָחִיו לְחַלֵּל בְּרִית אֲבֹתֵינוּ׃ |
| 2:11 Prevaricó Judá, y en Israel y en Jerusalén se ha cometido abominación; porque Judá ha profanado el santuario de Jehová que él amó, y se casó con hija de dios extraño. |
Judah hath dealt treacherously, and an abomination is committed in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah hath profaned the holiness of the LORD which he loved, and hath married the daughter of a strange god. |
בָּגְדָה יְהוּדָה וְתֹועֵבָה נֶעֶשְׂתָה בְיִשְׂרָאֵל וּבִירוּשָׁלִָם כִּי חִלֵּל יְהוּדָה קֹדֶשׁ יְהוָה אֲשֶׁר אָהֵב וּבָעַל בַּת־אֵל נֵכָר׃ |
| 2:12 Jehová cortará de las tiendas de Jacob al hombre que hiciere esto, al que vela y al que responde, y al que ofrece ofrenda a Jehová de los ejércitos. |
The LORD will cut off the man that doeth this, the master and the scholar, out of the tabernacles of Jacob, and him that offereth an offering unto the LORD of hosts. |
יַכְרֵת יְהוָה לָאִישׁ אֲשֶׁר יַעֲשֶׂנָּה עֵר וְעֹנֶה מֵאָהֳלֵי יַעֲקֹב וּמַגִּישׁ מִנְחָה לַיהוָה צְבָאֹות׃ פ |
| 2:13 Y esta otra vez haréis cubrir el altar de Jehová de lágrimas, de llanto, y de clamor; así que no miraré más a la ofrenda, para aceptarla con gusto de vuestra mano. |
And this have ye done again, covering the altar of the LORD with tears, with weeping, and with crying out, insomuch that he regardeth not the offering any more, or receiveth it with good will at your hand. |
וְזֹאת שֵׁנִית תַּעֲשׂוּ כַּסֹּות דִּמְעָה אֶת־מִזְבַּח יְהוָה בְּכִי וַאֲנָקָה מֵאֵין עֹוד פְּנֹות אֶל־הַמִּנְחָה וְלָקַחַת רָצֹון מִיֶּדְכֶם׃ |
| 2:14 Mas diréis: ¿Por qué? Porque Jehová ha atestiguado entre ti y la mujer de tu juventud, contra la cual has sido desleal, siendo ella tu compañera, y la mujer de tu pacto. |
Yet ye say, Wherefore? Because the LORD hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously: yet is she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant. |
וַאֲמַרְתֶּם עַל־מָה עַל כִּי־יְהוָה הֵעִיד בֵּינְךָ וּבֵין אֵשֶׁת נְעוּרֶיךָ אֲשֶׁר אַתָּה בָּגַדְתָּה בָּהּ וְהִיא חֲבֶרְתְּךָ וְאֵשֶׁת בְּרִיתֶךָ׃ |
| 2:15 ¿No hizo él uno, habiendo en él abundancia de espíritu? ¿Y por qué uno? Porque buscaba una descendencia para Dios. Guardaos, pues, en vuestro espíritu, y no seáis desleales para con la mujer de vuestra juventud. |
And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth. |
וְלֹא־אֶחָד עָשָׂה וּשְׁאָר רוּחַ לֹו וּמָה הָאֶחָד מְבַקֵּשׁ זֶרַע אֱלֹהִים וְנִשְׁמַרְתֶּם בְּרוּחֲכֶם וּבְאֵשֶׁת נְעוּרֶיךָ אַל־יִבְגֹּד׃ |
| 2:16 Porque Jehová Dios de Israel ha dicho que él aborrece el repudio, y al que cubre de iniquidad su vestido, dijo Jehová de los ejércitos. Guardaos, pues, en vuestro espíritu, y no seáis desleales. |
For the LORD, the God of Israel, saith that he hateth putting away: for one covereth violence with his garment, saith the LORD of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously. |
כִּי־שָׂנֵא שַׁלַּח אָמַר יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְכִסָּה חָמָס עַל־לְבוּשֹׁו אָמַר יְהוָה צְבָאֹות וְנִשְׁמַרְתֶּם בְּרוּחֲכֶם וְלֹא תִבְגֹּדוּ׃ ס |
| 2:17 Habéis hecho cansar a Jehová con vuestras palabras. Y decís: ¿En qué le hemos cansado? En que decís: Cualquiera que hace mal agrada a Jehová, y en los tales se complace; o si no, ¿dónde está el Dios de justicia? |
Ye have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the God of judgment? |
הֹוגַעְתֶּם יְהוָה בְּדִבְרֵיכֶם וַאֲמַרְתֶּם בַּמָּה הֹוגָעְנוּ בֶּאֱמָרְכֶם כָּל־עֹשֵׂה רָע טֹוב בְּעֵינֵי יְהוָה וּבָהֶם הוּא חָפֵץ אֹו אַיֵּה אֱלֹהֵי הַמִּשְׁפָּט׃ |
| 3:1 He aquí, yo envío mi mensajero, el cual preparará el camino delante de mí; y vendrá súbitamente a su templo el Señor a quien vosotros buscáis, y el ángel del pacto, a quien deseáis vosotros. He aquí viene, ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos. |
Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts. |
הִנְנִי שֹׁלֵחַ מַלְאָכִי וּפִנָּה־דֶרֶךְ לְפָנָי וּפִתְאֹם יָבֹוא אֶל־הֵיכָלֹו הָאָדֹון אֲשֶׁר־אַתֶּם מְבַקְשִׁים וּמַלְאַךְ הַבְּרִית אֲשֶׁר־אַתֶּם חֲפֵצִים הִנֵּה־בָא אָמַר יְהוָה צְבָאֹות׃ |
| 3:2 ¿Y quién podrá soportar el tiempo de su venida? ¿o quién podrá estar en pie cuando él se manifieste? Porque él es como fuego purificador, y como jabón de lavadores. |
But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap: |
וּמִי מְכַלְכֵּל אֶת־יֹום בֹּואֹו וּמִי הָעֹמֵד בְּהֵרָאֹותֹו כִּי־הוּא כְּאֵשׁ מְצָרֵף וּכְבֹרִית מְכַבְּסִים׃ |
| 3:3 Y se sentará para afinar y limpiar la plata; porque limpiará a los hijos de Leví, los afinará como a oro y como a plata, y traerán a Jehová ofrenda en justicia. |
And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness. |
וְיָשַׁב מְצָרֵף וּמְטַהֵר כֶּסֶף וְטִהַר אֶת־בְּנֵי־לֵוִי וְזִקַּק אֹתָם כַּזָּהָב וְכַכָּסֶף וְהָיוּ לַיהוָה מַגִּישֵׁי מִנְחָה בִּצְדָקָה׃ |
| 3:4 Y será grata a Jehová la ofrenda de Judá y de Jerusalén, como en los días pasados, y como en los años antiguos. |
Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the LORD, as in the days of old, and as in former years. |
וְעָרְבָה לַיהוָה מִנְחַת יְהוּדָה וִירוּשָׁלִָם כִּימֵי עֹולָם וּכְשָׁנִים קַדְמֹנִיֹּות׃ |
| 3:5 Y vendré a vosotros para juicio; y seré pronto testigo contra los hechiceros y adúlteros, contra los que juran mentira, y los que defraudan en su salario al jornalero, a la viuda y al huérfano, y los que hacen injusticia al extranjero, no teniendo temor de mí, dice Jehová de los ejércitos. |
And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts. |
וְקָרַבְתִּי אֲלֵיכֶם לַמִּשְׁפָּט וְהָיִיתִי עֵד מְמַהֵר בַּמְכַשְּׁפִים וּבַמְנָאֲפִים וּבַנִּשְׁבָּעִים לַשָּׁקֶר וּבְעֹשְׁקֵי שְׂכַרשָׂ־כִיר אַלְמָנָה וְיָתֹום וּמַטֵּי־גֵר וְלֹא יְרֵאוּנִי אָמַר יְהוָה צְבָאֹות׃ |
| 3:6 Porque yo Jehová no cambio; por esto, hijos de Jacob, no habéis sido consumidos. |
For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. |
כִּי אֲנִי יְהוָה לֹא שָׁנִיתִי וְאַתֶּם בְּנֵי־יַעֲקֹב לֹא כְלִיתֶם׃ |
| 3:7 Desde los días de vuestros padres os habéis apartado de mis leyes, y no las guardasteis. Volveos a mí, y yo me volveré a vosotros, ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos. Mas dijisteis: ¿En qué hemos de volvernos? |
Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return? |
לְמִימֵי אֲבֹתֵיכֶם סַרְתֶּם מֵחֻקַּי וְלֹא שְׁמַרְתֶּם שׁוּבוּ אֵלַי וְאָשׁוּבָה אֲלֵיכֶם אָמַר יְהוָה צְבָאֹות וַאֲמַרְתֶּם בַּמֶּה נָשׁוּב׃ |
| 3:8 ¿Robará el hombre a Dios? Pues vosotros me habéis robado. Y dijisteis: ¿En qué te hemos robado? En vuestros diezmos y ofrendas. |
Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. |
הֲיִקְבַּע אָדָם אֱלֹהִים כִּי אַתֶּם קֹבְעִים אֹתִי וַאֲמַרְתֶּם בַּמֶּה קְבַעֲנוּךָ הַמַּעֲשֵׂר וְהַתְּרוּמָה׃ |
| 3:9 Malditos sois con maldición, porque vosotros, la nación toda, me habéis robado. |
Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. |
בַּמְּאֵרָה אַתֶּם נֵאָרִים וְאֹתִי אַתֶּם קֹבְעִים הַגֹּוי כֻּלֹּו׃ |
| 3:10 Traed todos los diezmos al alfolí y haya alimento en mi casa; y probadme ahora en esto, dice Jehová de los ejércitos, si no os abriré las ventanas de los cielos, y derramaré sobre vosotros bendición hasta que sobreabunde. |
Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. |
הָבִיאוּ אֶת־כָּל־הַמַּעֲשֵׂר אֶל־בֵּית הָאֹוצָר וִיהִי טֶרֶף בְּבֵיתִי וּבְחָנוּנִי נָא בָּזֹאת אָמַר יְהוָה צְבָאֹות אִם־לֹא אֶפְתַּח לָכֶם אֵת אֲרֻבֹּות הַשָּׁמַיִם וַהֲרִיקֹתִי לָכֶם בְּרָכָה עַד־בְּלִי־דָי׃ |
| 3:11 Reprenderé también por vosotros al devorador, y no os destruirá el fruto de la tierra, ni vuestra vid en el campo será estéril, dice Jehová de los ejércitos. |
And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts. |
וְגָעַרְתִּי לָכֶם בָּאֹכֵל וְלֹא־יַשְׁחִת לָכֶם אֶת־פְּרִי הָאֲדָמָה וְלֹא־תְשַׁכֵּל לָכֶם הַגֶּפֶן בַּשָּׂדֶה אָמַר יְהוָה צְבָאֹות׃ |
| 3:12 Y todas las naciones os dirán bienaventurados; porque seréis tierra deseable, dice Jehová de los ejércitos. |
And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts. |
וְאִשְּׁרוּ אֶתְכֶם כָּל־הַגֹּויִם כִּי־תִהְיוּ אַתֶּם אֶרֶץ חֵפֶץ אָמַר יְהוָה צְבָאֹות׃ ס |
| 3:13 Vuestras palabras contra mí han sido violentas, dice Jehová. Y dijisteis: ¿Qué hemos hablado contra ti? |
Your words have been stout against me, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, What have we spoken so much against thee? |
חָזְקוּ עָלַי דִּבְרֵיכֶם אָמַר יְהוָה וַאֲמַרְתֶּם מַה־נִּדְבַּרְנוּ עָלֶיךָ׃ |
| 3:14 Habéis dicho: Por demás es servir a Dios. ¿Qué aprovecha que guardemos su ley, y que andemos afligidos en presencia de Jehová de los ejércitos? |
Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of hosts? |
אֲמַרְתֶּם שָׁוְא עֲבֹד אֱלֹהִים וּמַה־בֶּצַע כִּי שָׁמַרְנוּ מִשְׁמַרְתֹּו וְכִי הָלַכְנוּ קְדֹרַנִּית מִפְּנֵי יְהוָה צְבָאֹות׃ |
| 3:15 Decimos, pues, ahora: Bienaventurados son los soberbios, y los que hacen impiedad no sólo son prosperados, sino que tentaron a Dios y escaparon. |
And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered. |
וְעַתָּה אֲנַחְנוּ מְאַשְּׁרִים זֵדִים גַּם־נִבְנוּ עֹשֵׂי רִשְׁעָה גַּם בָּחֲנוּ אֱלֹהִים וַיִּמָּלֵטוּ׃ |
| 3:16 Entonces los que temían a Jehová hablaron cada uno a su compañero; y Jehová escuchó y oyó, y fue escrito libro de memoria delante de él para los que temen a Jehová, y para los que piensan en su nombre. |
Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name. |
אָז נִדְבְּרוּ יִרְאֵי יְהוָה אִישׁ אֶת־רֵעֵהוּ וַיַּקְשֵׁב יְהוָה וַיִּשְׁמָע וַיִּכָּתֵב סֵפֶר זִכָּרֹון לְפָנָיו לְיִרְאֵי יְהוָה וּלְחֹשְׁבֵי שְׁמֹו׃ |
| 3:17 Y serán para mí especial tesoro, ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, en el día en que yo actúe; y los perdonaré, como el hombre que perdona a su hijo que le sirve. |
And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him. |
וְהָיוּ לִי אָמַר יְהוָה צְבָאֹות לַיֹּום אֲשֶׁר אֲנִי עֹשֶׂה סְגֻלָּה וְחָמַלְתִּי עֲלֵיהֶם כַּאֲשֶׁר יַחְמֹל אִישׁ עַל־בְּנֹו הָעֹבֵד אֹתֹו׃ |
| 3:18 Entonces os volveréis, y discerniréis la diferencia entre el justo y el malo, entre el que sirve a Dios y el que no le sirve. |
Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not. |
וְשַׁבְתֶּם וּרְאִיתֶם בֵּין צַדִּיק לְרָשָׁע בֵּין עֹבֵד אֱלֹהִים לַאֲשֶׁר לֹא עֲבָדֹו׃ ס |
| 4:1 Porque he aquí, viene el día ardiente como un horno, y todos los soberbios y todos los que hacen maldad serán estopa; aquel día que vendrá los abrasará, ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, y no les dejará ni raíz ni rama. |
For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. |
כִּי־הִנֵּה הַיֹּום בָּא בֹּעֵר כַּתַּנּוּר וְהָיוּ כָל־זֵדִים וְכָל־עֹשֵׂה רִשְׁעָה קַשׁ וְלִהַט אֹתָם הַיֹּום הַבָּא אָמַר יְהוָה צְבָאֹות אֲשֶׁר לֹא־יַעֲזֹב לָהֶם שֹׁרֶשׁ וְעָנָף׃ |
| 4:2 Mas a vosotros los que teméis mi nombre, nacerá el Sol de justicia, y en sus alas traerá salvación; y saldréis, y saltaréis como becerros de la manada. |
But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall. |
וְזָרְחָה לָכֶם יִרְאֵי שְׁמִי שֶׁמֶשׁ צְדָקָה וּמַרְפֵּא בִּכְנָפֶיהָ וִיצָאתֶם וּפִשְׁתֶּם כְּעֶגְלֵי מַרְבֵּק׃ |
| 4:3 Hollaréis a los malos, los cuales serán ceniza bajo las plantas de vuestros pies, en el día en que yo actúe, ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos. |
And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts. |
וְעַסֹּותֶם רְשָׁעִים כִּי־יִהְיוּ אֵפֶר תַּחַת כַּפֹּות רַגְלֵיכֶם בַּיֹּום אֲשֶׁר אֲנִי עֹשֶׂה אָמַר יְהוָה צְבָאֹות׃ פ |
| 4:4 Acordaos de la ley de Moisés mi siervo, al cual encargué en Horeb ordenanzas y leyes para todo Israel. |
Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments. |
זִכְרוּ תֹּורַת מֹשֶׁה עַבְדִּי אֲשֶׁר צִוִּיתִי אֹותֹו בְחֹרֵב עַל־כָּל־יִשְׂרָאֵל חֻקִּים וּמִשְׁפָּטִים׃ |
| 4:5 He aquí, yo os envío el profeta Elías, antes que venga el día de Jehová, grande y terrible. |
Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: |
הִנֵּה אָנֹכִי שֹׁלֵחַ לָכֶם אֵת אֵלִיָּה הַנָּבִיא לִפְנֵי בֹּוא יֹום יְהוָה הַגָּדֹול וְהַנֹּורָא׃ |
| 4:6 El hará volver el corazón de los padres hacia los hijos, y el corazón de los hijos hacia los padres, no sea que yo venga y hiera la tierra con maldición. |
And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse. {THE END OF THE PROPHETS.} |
וְהֵשִׁיב לֵב־אָבֹות עַל־בָּנִים וְלֵב בָּנִים עַל־אֲבֹותָם פֶּן־אָבֹוא וְהִכֵּיתִי אֶת־הָאָרֶץ חֵרֶם׃ |
